- phr33ksho, on 02/03/2008, -0/+10It should be clear to everyone at this point that the only reason that Obama isn't crushing Hillary is her name recognition. Anywhere Obama goes, the polls immediately start swinging his way, once voters actually get a decent look at him. I just hope that there is enough time between now and tuesday for him to close up the gap enough to keep it tight. I have a good feeling that he will do this, and will have a better than expected showing come tuesday.

OBAMA 08 YES WE CAN!!! - Ianki, on 02/03/2008, -0/+2given that Obama and Clinton are maybe going to break even in terms of delegates, pollsters really have to start polling people in post-super tuesday states.. I'm curious about what the numbers in ohio and texas are like.
Of course, New York has the second largest delegate count on super tuesday, and Obama is 25 points behind (although the polling average was taken over a week ago, so it's probably changed). Just given how many delegates are awarded, it might be hard for him to catch up unless he does much better in NJ and CA than the polls right now are suggesting. I wonder what his monday stump plans are. Is he heading back into Californa for another effective blitz, or into New York and try to fight the "well, Clinton is my senator" recognition factor there? - YouAreFun, on 02/03/2008, -0/+4DO NOT TRUST ZOGBY POLLS. They ***** us in 2004.
We still need to work hard. California is going to be a huge challenge and it's up to us to GET OUT THE VOTE.
