- cg4et, on 05/11/2008, -0/+14If the evangelical movement could put its weight behind issues of peace, social justice, and eliminating poverty (you know, the things Jesus talked about) instead of being focused on abortion and gay marriage (things Jesus never talked about), this world would certainly become a better place.
- jimfoxden, on 05/12/2008, -12/+5to all you CLUELESS young Christians out there who support ANY canidate who believes it is OK to MURDER the unborn,Have SEX with with the same gender, or Kill an embryo to MAYBE help someone who is ill. EDUCATE yourself. READ your BIBLE, (if you have one) and stop basing your opinions on your FEELINGS base them on the FACTS. Jesus said, I am the WAY, the TRUTH, and the LIFE. If you have a problem with any of these 3 issues, you don't have a problem with me, you have a problem with CHRIST!!! He spoke VERY CLEARLY on ALL 3 of these issues and many more. LOOK them up! If your too lazy to seek the truth in scripture, email me @ jimfoxden@yahoo.com. I'll show you exactly where they are in the Bible. Be NOT IGNORANT you have no EXCUSE!

Call me what you want but at least I know Jesus didn't say those words! Can you quote me that in Aramaic? If Jesus actually said something along those lines, with that meaning, then he sure as hell didn't say it in English. - BabushkaBlue, on 05/12/2008, -0/+2Don't let the sun go down on that anger you're spewing, bro.
- supercynic, on 05/14/2008, -0/+1Adjust your all caps button and post the relevant Scripture here for everyone to see b/c I refute your contention that Jesus addressed abortion, homosexuality, and stem cell research (this last one would have really blown the multitudes' minds).

- piediddly, on 05/12/2008, -0/+2"This could turn out to be the election where both parties realize that the evangelical vote is so hopelessly split down the middle that it's not worth courting them at all because what parties need are blocs that can be appealed to en masse," Crouch said. "Paradoxically, evangelicals would become less relevant than ever before."
exactly what i'm hoping for: less relevant evangelicals. it's music to my ears.
