- SheilaNoya, on 05/15/2008, -7/+3The GOP only has 3 issues on their agenda:
- Corporate Profits
- War Profits
- Banning everything the religious fanatics don't like
To achieve these simple goals, they use FEAR and LIES.
There - That about sums up the GOP.- Qong, on 05/15/2008, -0/+8You're ignorant if you think that only one of the main political parties lies and uses cheap tactics to get votes. Did you read the article? Do you not see how Democrats are constantly pandering for votes?
Don't fool yourself into thinking that you're better than anyone else: You're not.

- stienster, on 05/15/2008, -4/+5I see you have no real connection with "most" Americans. The only people satisfied with their own finances are those at the top of the scale. If you looked outside of your own puppet theater, I think you may notice your darkened box of a world reflects nothing of "most" Americans. "Most" Americans lost respect for the GOP through repeated failures of reasoning and honest motives. Back-door politics and subjugation of civil liberties have sent even the social republican conservatives on a search to find sane representation. Perhaps you haven't noticed that by simply claiming the sky is red, it hasn't turned red. It seems, however, Mr. Rove, that the rest of us indeed have.
- Qong, on 05/15/2008, -1/+6I am an average American and I am perfectly happy with my finances. I also realize that my financial situation is my own business and my own personal responsibility; I don't need the government helping me out through tax revenues taken from fellow hard working individuals. Thanks for your concern about the average American's finances though; maybe you should keep your mind on your own finances next time, that way you don't have to worry about the financial situation of people more responsible than yourself. Jealousy is a terrible thing. (This is directed towards the second comment, as well as just in general).
Good article though. He makes several good points for both political party's. - duggedup, on 05/15/2008, -5/+6The GOP clearly stands for something- global American fascism.
- davidmesaaz, on 05/15/2008, -1/+4Wow this is a classic case of just throwing around terms that you clearly don't even know what they mean. Hilter Musloini and other Facists consolidated private property industries in the name of the state. Yes the loss of Private property is as Fredrick Von Hayek Declares the Road to serfdom.

- bsmang, on 05/16/2008, -0/+1I think he's got it right. If the GOP supports Bush (and they do) then the GOP stands for fascism.
- Stevanoski, on 05/16/2008, -3/+3Guys, he has been indoctrinated in the best Stalinist dojo every, the American Public School system, we can only feel great sadness for him.
- amightywind, on 05/16/2008, -2/+2@duggedup Nazi National Socialism is a leftist idea. It is basically Obama's platform minus the "Jewish Question". Obama and his crazy wife want the state to intrude on every facet of your life.
" That we have to compromise and sacrifice for one another in order to get things done - that is why I am here, because Barack Obama is the only person in this race who understands that. That before we can work on the problems, we have to fix our souls - our souls are broken in this nation. " Michelle Obama 2008.

- elleigh2, on 05/15/2008, -1/+2The only way the Liberals win is if they hide who they really are and try to go "right" to get elected! Once they get in, they go back to the left and show their true colors!
- davidmesaaz, on 05/15/2008, -0/+2I am tired of people saying that Republicans are fascist when they clearly don't know what Facism is. Hilter Musloini and other Facists consolidated private property industries in the name of the state. Yes the loss of Private property is as Fredrick Von Hayek declares the Road to serfdom.
Thomas Sowell explains that The Fascists were completely against individualism in general and especially against individualism in a free market economy. Their agenda included minimum wage laws, government restrictions on profit-making, progressive taxation of capital, and "rigidly secular" schools. http://digg.com/politics/Thomas_Sowell_Who_Is_a_Fa ...
Remember Hitlers Party was called the the National Socialist Workers Party. Not the free trade association.
