- badfishmedia, on 01/03/2008, -0/+7Yeah, except that it really isn't necessarily a good indicator. It CAN be but there are far too many variables in the system. RP has such a new and different appeal to his support the rules have gone out the window. He puts too many wildcards in the system. We won't know until afterward.
- graphictruth, on 01/03/2008, -0/+6That, the polling data that tends to exclude both VOIP and cellular and only samples "likely voters," it's really anyone's guess what the numbers will shake out to, but certainly larger than opponents wish, perhaps not so large as Paul's supporters would like - almost certainly five times as much as Paul himself ever expected in his wildest dreams.
The important thing to note here is not what Paul himself stands for, but rather, the constituency that has chosen him as their standard-bearer, and what THEY stand for. That is both enormously heartening, and on some issues, not a little scary. Still, far more digestible than the choice between re-heated pea soup and microwave oatmeal that all the others represeent. - jeanine22, on 01/03/2008, -0/+2here is a great site to follow todays events
