He's No. 1!
Posted by James Ostrowski at December 21, 2007 09:43 AM
Minutes ago, there was a lottery for ballot position in New York.
The number one ball was drawn for Ron Paul (out of 100).
Here's the ballot:
Ron Paul
Keyes
Hunter
Giuliani
Huckabee
McCain
Thompson - Texashoot, on 12/21/2007, -4/+6Our Champion video is nothing less than POWERFUL! Mike is definitely a man of compassion, conviction and with a message to all Americans. Watch this video for an insight to our next President.
- Texashoot, on 12/21/2007, -3/+5One recommendation to the producer of the video "Our Champion". Change the introduction so you can read the quote from Michael Medved. This is one of the best I have seen!
- teamcoltra, on 12/21/2007, -4/+6This really is a great video.
Good job to creator!
~http://www.highschoolers4huck.com - gottadiggit, on 12/21/2007, -6/+4Wow this is a good video to show why we should vote for Ron Paul 08!
- MoniqueMoniCat, on 12/21/2007, -3/+6This is a great Huckabee video, thanks to the Huck supporter for making it and sharing it with others.
I will NEVER be ashamed of the cross. As the perfect Son of God, Jesus Christ, humbled Himself, carried the cross himself and let them nail him to that cross so he could be the lamb sacrifice for all of mankind;
NO, LET US NEVER BE ASHAMED OF THE CROSS, WHETHER IT'S IN A CHRISTMAS AD OR DRAWN IN THE SAND!
Jesus said:
"But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven." Matthew 10:33
AND...
Thus says the Lord: “Let not the wise man boast in his wisdom, let not the mighty man boast in his might, let not the rich man boast in his riches,
but let him who boasts boast about this:
that he understands and knows me,
that I am the Lord, who exercises kindness,
justice and righteousness on earth,
for in these I delight,” Jeremiah 9:23-24
AND...
Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ's power may rest on me. That is why, for Christ's sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong.
-II Corinthians 12:1-10
I am so glad Mike Huckabee is a man who is not ashamed of Christ. Far from it, he boasts of Him!- Darel99, on 12/21/2007, -2/+3Huck may have been a pastor but only Ron Paul is a Christian Statesman
- MoniqueMoniCat, on 12/21/2007, -1/+1True claim about Mike Huckabee: He is a proven leader and a great presidential candidate. He's healthy and fit, age 52, and in tune with current Americans.
True claim about Ron Paul:
Ron Paul is too old, he wears diapers, and displays early signs of the onset of dementia, displayed by sudden inane outbursts coupled with bouts of statements of great wisdom. Very sad.
This latest escapade of accepting donations from white supremists and publicly making a spectacle about refusing to give it back is just another symptom of all the above. Many who suffer from early signs of dementia display the deer caught in the headlights syndrome.
More sad is his supporters won’t get off the dead horse. But they might be smoking too many bowls listening to late night conspiracy talk shows to notice.
The lights are on, but no one is home at Ron Paul’s.

- V3n0M, on 12/21/2007, -0/+2There's a big difference between not being ashamed of Christ and exploiting Christ for your own benefit. Mike Huckabee would do well to learn this.
- sestalker, on 12/21/2007, -0/+1Your zeal for Christ is a blessing. We need more people in this world who admonish the teachings of Christ and the other individuals who fought tyranny and repression based on His teachings. I would just like you to consider for one moment that it is the message behind the man that makes a difference in this world. Ron Paul's legacy of being true to self, while upholding his personal religious beliefs, will live on longer than Huckabee's spotty political and personal past.
Dugg Up for bible study instead of discussion of real concrete issues.

- sestalker, on 12/21/2007, -2/+6Please watch. This video speaks volumes about Huckabee's vision for His America.
- proseandpromise, on 12/21/2007, -4/+4I wish Chris Crocker would make a "Leave Jesus alone!" video and send it to the Mike Huckabee campaign.
- Room007, on 12/21/2007, -3/+4This video gave me chills! I love it! He is such a great communicator! He doesn't take any money from the KKK or white supremacists, as a candidate he doesn't call people names like neo-cons or facists. He actually accomplishes something when he governs. He isn't a 20 year Washington insider that produces mountains of legislation only to have it shot down by Congress. Yay Huckabee.
- V3n0M, on 12/21/2007, -3/+3This video is brilliant! Digg ups!! I hope it reaches the front page! By the way, have you (Huckabee Supporters) ever read the comments of the submissions that reach the front page?
- PanchoVilla, on 12/21/2007, -3/+4An inspirational video by an inspirational leader. Unfortunately, the usual ron paul nazis are out and about, after the uproar over learning their candidate is a white supremacist. Mike Huckabee for President!
- Morfildor, on 12/21/2007, -0/+2Would Mike Huckabee approve of slandering other candidates and spreading disinformation?

http://littlegreenfootballs.com/weblog/?entry=2834 ...
Ron Paul is over. He consistently polls at 5% or less and his supporters were his demise. Real Americans don't buy the 9/11 troofer stuff, don't sit around blaming our country and most certainly don't support anti-semites. We don't buy the movement...it's dead.- V3n0M, on 12/21/2007, -0/+3LOL!! Your source is Little Green Footballs?! Do you also refer to the National Enquirer as 'the paper'?? Here's your Bill White:

"Bill White is not the most popular person in the world, particularly because he is seen as a self-serving basket case..."
"Remember this about Bill: He will be, and has been whatever gets him attention."
Next time you trust LGF for news, you might want to get a 2nd opinion.. - sestalker, on 12/21/2007, -0/+3I have such a sick sense of humor... I am fighting the urge to photo-shop a certain socialist logo on my arm in my profile photo. That being said, I admit to voting with my religious beliefs in recent memory. God is a significant part in my life. However, I have decided to vote on Peace, Individual Liberty, and personal responsibility this time around. Something I'm sure Jesus would approve of- if I were to ask.

- V3n0M, on 12/21/2007, -3/+3True claims about Mike Huckabee:
He dropped out of college.
He lied about having a degree in Theology.
He lied about the signers of the Declaration of Independence being mostly clergymen.
He excluded those of different beliefs.
He couldn't rule his own house (I Timothy 3:5).
He encouraged illegal immigrants to bring their families to this country.
He staged a re-commitment ceremony to dupe their friends into giving them "wedding" presents.
He signed a statement that women should "submit" to their husbands.
He called for the isolation of AIDS patients in an age where it was known casual contact would not infect anyone.
He said "Hollywood stars" should pay for medical research.
He had no compassion for gays and goes so far as to push for a federal law to prevent 2 people from marrying just because they have similar anatomy.
He wrote a letter to a convicted rapist stating his desire for him to be released, and got exactly what he wanted.
He said he's pro-life, yet he supports the death penalty.
He dodged questions about supporting the death penalty.
He had no objection to nuking Iran.
He thought an endorsement by the son of the man that blamed 9/11 on gays and feminists is a good thing.
He said he would send us to war even if the 435 members of Congress directly told him not to.
He made a joke about the very serious subject of suicide.
He made a joke about the very serious subject of border security (Chuck Norris??)
He had no compassion for the sick and dying who find relief in medical marijuana.
He cared more about "honor" than people's lives.
He flip-flopped on issues, such as the embargo on Cuba, which he once wrote to Pres. Bush to lift, and now, illegal immigration.
He claimed to support homeschooling, but as Governor, passed laws making the process more difficult.
He tried to remove furniture from the governor's mansion.
He had a hand in TWICE as many pardons and commutations as his three predecessors combined (1033).
He raised taxes in Arkansas more than Bill Clilnton.
He encouraged Mexico to build a consulate in his state with the obvious intent of providing a workforce for Arkansas' low-wage employers.
He said he wants to create an un-Constitutional Federal Ban on all smoking in public places (would sign a bill, rather than demand an amendment to the Constitution, or allowing individuals to vote on the matter).
He discussed his prayer life on tv, a pastor should know Matthew 6:6 teaches us to keep our prayer life to ourselves.
He spent $13,000 of taxpayer money to destroy his computers when leaving office. What was he hiding anyway?
He returned jobs and favors for people who gave him gifts or money.
Unlike MoniqueMoniCat, I can back up all of these true claims with FACT. - eyem4freedom, on 12/21/2007, -3/+1https://www.mikehuckabee.com/?FuseAction=Contribut ...
I Like Mike!! If you like Mike too, use this link to put your money where your support is..!- sestalker, on 12/21/2007, -0/+3Cmon - join in this discussion instead of saying if "we like mike" then we should give money. I saw a video the other day of a guy who, when asked, said he liked Guliani because he liked the way he talked. I love Ron Paul's shrilly high-pitched voice too- it just so happens when I hear it he's talking about real change and new ideas. Why do you like Mike? Because he represents your personal religious beliefs more than the other candidates?
This is why I support my candidate:
I have supported Ron Paul since I was in my early 20's (1996)
#1 I am who I am and I do not like people thinking they own the money I earn, my ideas, my life-style choices, or my beliefs.
#2 I believe Ron Paul wants to bring transparency to a secretive Federal Bank.
#3 I believe individual States should be able to set up the government the people who live there want- without Federal intervention.
#4 I believe in Americas Sovereignty - I do not want other Countries or Organizations telling me what my rights are...my Constitution does that already thx.
#5 I believe in other countries Sovereignty - I do not want to tell other countries what their rights are.
#6 I believe the schools my children go to should answer to me and not the federal govt
#7 I believe the country I grew up, respecting, loving, and being proud of has been sold out to people who do not champion my rights. Ron Paul champions my rights as an American and as an individual.
I really can go on. There are of course many videos and writings to read up on- make up your own mind! Do not let me or anyone else tell you what's right or wrong. Go with your conscience.
