This is why Obama needs a script watch!
youtube.com — Obama had to answer the off-the-cuff question from ABC News: "If you had it to do over again, knowing what you know now, would you support the surge?" a few nights ago. Small problem. This was not a question that Barack's handlers had prepared him for. He had no script. He had to ad lib, and for Obama that's not good. Sit down folks.

- sbark1, on 07/24/2008, -0/+2I'm just not sure how to interpret that statement. So he didn't support the surge for political reasons, okay, I get that, I don't agree but I understand. But looking back I wouldn't support a decision that had good results because of a political disagreement. Isn't that basically saying that I would make poor decisions for political gain, and pass up good ideas for the same? So much for our government caring about its citizens, apparently poor decisions are okay if you gain politically from them.

Its sad really that someone who can use a single word "Change", which is almost every political campaign platform , can get so far without a lot people really looking into his background. True better than mccain but what does this say about our political processes. I am worried
