The Next 4 Years of Hell - by T. L. Farlow
johnny2k.com — A sad moment in American history if Farlow is right: "Chaos will ensue! Riots will be a regular occurrence. Yes, there will be change, but there will be no hope. That ’s right, no hope for America." But he offers a solution: "The events of the world that unfold before our eyes should be proof enough that we should turn away from our worldly ways..."

I send this to you this evening, not to depress you, but to inspire you. Knowing what we could face after W leaves office doesn't seem to be giving us much hope of a "change" that will really help us. Farlow really does touch on the One that WILL help us, but we MUST turn to Him - NOW! Our Lord and Savior can get us through this, and maybe give us a solution - an alternative candidate. Maybe we just need to all do a write-in vote this fall, something like: "Jesus Christ"
...
Whoa! What an idea!! What would they do if they had a few million write in votes for "Jesus Christ"? It just hit me what an idea that would be! At any rate, what we REALLY need to do is to give the Electoral College a really big problem, where the GOP or Democrat nominee doesn't get anywhere near a majority, in ANY state! - alanhlake, on 05/14/2008, -2/+14I think that writing in the name of our Lord for President would cause the ballot to be discarded. I share the frustrations of T.L. Farlow and Johnny2K. I have yet another solution: a new nation! http://www.lakeinfoworks.com/blog/politics/christi ...
- johnny2k, on 05/14/2008, -1/+9Awesome article, Alan! http://digg.com/2008_us_elections/Christian_States ...
A new nation would be great. But before that solution can be accomplished, wouldn't the Lord Jesus need to have returned for His thousand year reign?- Salesti, on 05/14/2008, -0/+2I thought about that, and my first reaction was "no.....", but then it dawned on me that there is NO righteous nation in the blueprint, dang it. Every nation goes down under the Beast. Argh.

- camelseye, on 05/14/2008, -2/+13I have marked inauguration day on the calander--a day of consequences. I am an optimist who refuses to ignore Truth; I paint sunflowers and bluebirds on my sign, "The End is Near." As we view this end, we have nothing to fear, though, except personal ignoble behavior. Each of us should carefully consider what we believe, then hold to it and fight for it...and REMEMBER, David conquered Goliath.
- johnny2k, on 05/14/2008, -1/+9camelseye, do not despair, I have not given up, and I have nothing to fear even if the end is near. David may have conquered Goliath, which is great, but Jesus conquered Death for us that believe. I am also very big on being optimistic. I cling to my Faith in the Lord and His Word, the Bible.
- twitchr, on 05/14/2008, -8/+3you all are ***** nuts.
why don't you go start your own country already. While you're at it, why don't you take all the far lefties as well. then you can all live in your own extremist country and just argue and fight each other and leave the rest of us alone.
btw, if jesus was to return, do you think he'd really get behind all of your hatred?- Salesti, on 05/14/2008, -2/+5To what hatred do you refer?? I read each post carefully, and the only profanity, insults and rude attitude in sight are all in YOUR post!
- richporter, on 05/14/2008, -0/+1LOL.
- mshafer314, on 05/15/2008, -0/+1Just for the record: I"m burying any story that has to resort to calling Obama "B. Hussein Obama" and McCain "Juan McLiberal-Cain" in order to make a 'point.' Such rhetoric is, in essence, scare tactics, and is completely unnecessary, unhelpful, and, frankly, retarded. If that's what you have to do to express disapproval, I hope we never find ourselves on the same side of an argument, because you'd kill our position and embarrass us both.
- walkerblackwell, on 05/15/2008, -0/+1This opinion of another human being (Barak Obama) as some elitist person is flawed. GWB and his ilk trump Barak hundreds of times over in wealth and corruption. The story even talked about their greed. That is/was the problem in politics. What greed do you see in Obama?
I can't believe this near-hate-speech got this far on digg. Has it come to this? That we think of another US citizen as some terrorist anti-christian nutso because some guy told us he is? Have you ever read his speeches? Let me tell you, they are way less radical than either Jesus Christ, Gandhi, or MLK. Love thine enemy. If you choose that Obama is your enemy, you must understand him before you can hope to crack his pillar. I say this as an Obama supporter. That is how Obama has over-come Hillary's race-baiting and McCain's muslim comments. You must do the same against him if you believe so strongly. That is how the civil war was won. Putting up a rant online will just strengthen everybody's support for him. Thank you.
