chron.com — I tuned in to watch a town hall meeting yesterday on ABC and a softball game broke out. Yesterday on This Week with George Stephanopoulos, Hillary Clinton was allowed to give what amounted to a campaign speech in the guise of being questioned by a group of "average citizens" from Indiana and North Carolina.

- sandilincoln, on 05/05/2008, -0/+4I am firmly committed to Obama, so I watched the ABC Drama (didn't know soap operas were on Sundays) called the Hillary and George Show, instead of watching my Obama with Tim Russert. It looked in the begining as maybe some tough q's but you are right, turned into a campaign speech and was so disgusting. If she wins this, it's because she lies. And she not only lies, she knows she is fooling so many people with those lies, she almost looks like she's enjoying it! I am terrified for the future with someone so evil. SORRY~That Obama person that said she's a MONSTER was correct!
- bluevillage, on 05/05/2008, -0/+3Clinton's presentation on this show was pure filibustering -- WORDS, WORDS, WORDS, just words with no meaning. Pure mystification. I challenge anyone to remember anything she actually said. I think this actually hurt her. Especially in contrast to Obama's clear, coherent, logical answers to Russert in his interview.
- NikoliV, on 05/06/2008, -0/+1I remember one thing she said: "I'm not going to put my lot in with economists" or words to that effect and she says she doesn't/won't listen to their 'elite opinion.' And then something else again saying how their 'elite opinion' isn't worth anything. Great - 8 more years of a leader that goes with their gut!
