www.digg.com/2008_us_elections/Presidential_Straw_Poll_of_Grassroots_Citizens - Trindle, on 12/06/2007, -10/+1I don't get the popularity with this moron. I read his flier and just about shot my Cheerios across the room. Let me get this straight, he wants to abolish the IRS and follow the Constitution to the letter it was written. Ok.. sure.. but uh.. how are we going to keep all those federal programs funded? Oh.. and by the way a 230+ year old document is so perfect because the forefathers could foresee all the problems of 2007. No doubt.
/puke- GoneFishing, on 12/06/2007, -0/+5We stop funding unnecessary programs.
American troops are stationed across 130 nations in the world. Do you believe that is necessary? Do you feel any more safer knowing majority of our firepower is placed thousands of miles away from our national soil? You cut government spending first by bringing, not just the Iraq troops, but all the troops home.
The next is to cut the Department of Homeland Security. That agency has been created to only breach the republic contract between government and people and install distrust between the two. Nothing good has come out of it.
I think by cutting those two spendings, we can already bring Federal Gov't spending down significantly, so you would not need to tax the people. That's where we will start to live tax free.
Of course, you have to understand Ron's position of NOT policing the world. Until you understand and agree his approach to strong domestic focus, it is really hard to explain how it is actually possible to balance the budget.
My only concern, I don't think even 8 year would be enough to reverse what has been set in motion. - Tracker, on 12/06/2007, -0/+5That 230 + year old document gives you the right to say whatever the hell you want, even though you sound like a complete fool while doing so. I guess we should abolish the Constitution and that would force people like you to shut up.
- NealJ2K, on 12/06/2007, -0/+3All of those federal programs are not allowed for by the Constitution.
- staggerlee14760, on 12/08/2007, -0/+1Does the words fascism socialism ring any bells? That is what all of those gov. programs in reality are.
- GoneFishing, on 12/06/2007, -0/+5We stop funding unnecessary programs.
- bvagasky, on 12/06/2007, -0/+5Trindle, you need to learn how to debate without using ad hominem personal attacks.
If we choose to ignore the Constitution, where are the guarantees of your liberties? You're just going to trust politicians at their word? That's what separates us, the United States of America, from other countries on Earth. We have the rule of law, and we should follow it. - ewizardby409, on 12/06/2007, -0/+3Our country should be about our youth, and were they are going!!
- reakt80, on 12/06/2007, -5/+050,000? Unheard of! My god... I didn't know there were that many people with computers! Heck, I'm not even convinced that so many people are capable of reading words. Congratulations, Paulites. I am ever so excited for you.

He has endorsed Ron Paul. Revolution in association with a Republican candidate for any thing is double speak bull to the max.
- runderwo, on 12/09/2007, -0/+1Attacking the supporters is such old news, yawn! How about attacking the man himself, if you can manage to?
