- MrSlumberjack, on 05/01/2008, -10/+33Yes we already did
- gsxrjason, on 05/01/2008, -4/+18I believe he has had a cache of super delegates for a while now. He announced one every other day, then one a day, now it's getting to a few a day. Plus, anytime Hillary gets one he comes right back with another to keep his daily tally higher.
- hittnrun, on 05/01/2008, -5/+1Yes, please get this guy locked down so you libs won't be able to squirm out of your "selection" easily. There will be more embarrassment for the Senator and your party in the coming months. Of course, you will try to justify and nuance all of the problems. Problem is, the voters can usually smell bullsh!t a mile away and this Obama pile is starting to stink.
- aliengoods, on 05/01/2008, -2/+3You are true to your name. A quick hit and then you run before providing any hint as to what you're talking about. Then you reference a black man to a pile of crap.
When they made you, did they break the "assclown" mold?

- tst1212, on 05/01/2008, -35/+10I love the smell of desperation in the morning! Looks like Glass-Jaw Obama, can preach but not take the heat.
- aliengoods, on 05/01/2008, -0/+4Can't take the heat?! What are you talking about, because in the context of this story it makes no sense whatsoever.
- stealthc, on 05/01/2008, -5/+1Barack Obama: America's Blue Pill.
- MrSlumberjack, on 05/01/2008, -10/+33Yes we already did
- maggiesimpson8, on 05/01/2008, -13/+42THE SOONER THE BETTER . I have spoken to people in Oregon, NC, and Indiana - they are happy to be voting in their primaries - but really thrilled at the tone the race has taken and most yearn for it to just be over.
- LukasSmith, on 05/01/2008, -12/+6The Huffington Post has dozens of crap articles lined up to deliver to hungy liberal obama fanatics on digg.com
- aliengoods, on 05/01/2008, -0/+2Yes, we Obama fanatics are hung!
- yuutokun, on 05/01/2008, -0/+1Which "race" is it of which you speak Ms. Simpson?
- NYPD, on 05/01/2008, -1/+0She has spoken to people in NC and IN? Are these real people or make believe friends?
- kneelB4zod, on 05/01/2008, -0/+1I think this sorry needs to see the light of day in the states http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/middle_east/73767 ... Billary showing her flair for foreign diplomacy, far more relevant the (B S) rev Write story.
- NYPD, on 05/01/2008, -3/+0If your not Black Wright hates you. BO went there for 20 years. If it was 2 years I could give him a pass, but 20 years is a long time. Come on don't just give him a pass. The President will fill 4000 top level jobs. Who will Obama put in these jobs? Jessie, Al, Jessie Jr., Come on, just think about it. You don't even know him. I will give you one thing, we do know the Clinton's, but I think the Republicans said all of this crap 15 years ago about them. WE DON'T KNOW OBAMA. If your black don't you want someone who can win? He won't win. Whitey will not vote for him.
- kneelB4zod, on 05/01/2008, -0/+1Somewhere out there on the web there is a great speech by B O on church and state, it was made well before this bull ***** story came out and it wasn't made for the media, if you listened to it might help you to get to know the man and change your rather Foxed up opinion of him, it's not a grandiose pandering for votes speech it's an intelligent and rational view that gives an insight to how the man really feels. I'm afraid I don't where abouts it is or I'd link it up.
Secondly to get to my point which you obviously didn't take any notice of, who do you want ruining the country some crazy bitch who wants to obliterate Iran, or someone who will at least talk first.

- NYPD, on 05/01/2008, -3/+1Obama said, "I could no more disown my Rev. Wright of 20 years anymore than I could the Black community." I guess the Blacks are next.
- mxmj, on 05/01/2008, -1/+1What did you want him to do after Wright's disgraceful displays on several media outlets recently? People change, and sometimes you need to cut ties with them. Have you never lost a good friend?
- jbenson2, on 05/01/2008, -2/+1People change, but Wright has been spewing his racist talk for the 20 years the O-man knew the pastor.
- yakski, on 05/01/2008, -0/+1You should really compare Hagee to Wright... Hagee is so much more malevolent it is incredible and yet McCain embraces the man purposefully going to his conferences and puppy dogging after him for votes from the crazy fringe Christians. Compared to Hagee, Wright is actually mild.
- jbenson2, on 05/01/2008, -0/+1Compare? OK
Wright - a 20 year long relationship with the O-man
Hagee - another McCain supporter - period, end of discussion

- Dragular, on 05/01/2008, -0/+1It's never going to end. It turns out, Hillary Clinton has... SUPER SECRET SUPERDELEGATES. These genetically mutated delegates are bred for one purpose: continuing the 2008 Democrat Nomination Process for millions of years!
Perhaps this is a ploy on the part of the Democratic party to see if they can keep the elections up until McCain dies of old age..- yodaj007, on 05/01/2008, -0/+1As I read your comment, I got an image of Captain Kirk in my head for some reason.
*shivers*
- yodaj007, on 05/01/2008, -0/+1As I read your comment, I got an image of Captain Kirk in my head for some reason.
- had3l, on 05/01/2008, -1/+1Sneaky that Obama is. Surprise us he can.

- Rtaylor32, on 05/01/2008, -44/+19Isn't Democracy grand in the Democratic party. All of you Democrats place your fate in the hands of elite delegates. Ahh the power of back room political machines. Now please commence with calling Republican's exclusively elite and the Democrats the party of the people.
- tc399, on 05/01/2008, -13/+30Yes, our elitists didn't manage to bankrupt the country and invalidate the constitution in 8 years, Four more years of Republicans will see the US in the same condition as Iraq....oh, did I mention spending a trillion dollars in Iraq and LOSING? Now the OPEC countries are bailing out of the dollar for oil trading. By the time Obama is elected, Bush will be able to be elected President of al Qaida. He alone has done more damage to the US than bin Ladin ever could.
- 3tcp, on 05/01/2008, -5/+7I think you can put a pretty singular blame for those things on Bush and his administration. Also on Pelosi & Clinton who didn't use their influence to stop it but the initiator deserves more blame than the let-it-slide'ers. Republican voters didn't support those things and they didn't become public knowledge until after the '04 election... and the only reason Bush won that is because the Democrats shot themselves in the foot by choosing Kerry.
- Infidelcastr0, on 05/01/2008, -2/+10Republican voters need to be better informed, anyone who couldn't predict what happened had their head in the sand.
- chaosium, on 05/01/2008, -0/+5"the only reason Bush won that is because the Democrats shot themselves in the foot by choosing Kerry."
I'll agree with that. - ssn697, on 05/01/2008, -0/+4I am sure I wasn't the only one at the time saying "the Dems can't even find a way to not ***** up against Bush!"
What a ***** of ineptitude...- hittnrun, on 05/01/2008, -0/+1Prepare for a repeat.
- veganpunk, on 05/01/2008, -0/+0I'll agree with the Kerry remark. It felt dirty voting for him, but then it was anyone but Bush
- cheezintern, on 05/01/2008, -1/+4All of our elected officials deserve just as much blame. Hillary, for example, did vote for the war. I wouldn't say it's the fault of republicans as much as it's the fault of the entire congress for allowing bush to destroy the constitution in the name of security by simply signing off on everything he wanted.
- tst1212, on 05/01/2008, -10/+5And will shoot theirselves in the foot again selecting Obama
- KMye, on 05/01/2008, -2/+2They already shot themselves in the foot by making it EITHER Obama or Hillary. To say nothing of the last few months....
- stealthc, on 05/01/2008, -0/+2You think the destruction of the Constitution and the bankrupting of the country started with GWB?
What rock have you been living under?- cheezintern, on 05/01/2008, -0/+1maybe I should have add "blatant" in front of it.....and actually I've been living under a pile of sand thank you very much.
- mecanabis, on 05/01/2008, -1/+1oh man i wish i could thumb up your comment more than once
- 3tcp, on 05/01/2008, -5/+7I think you can put a pretty singular blame for those things on Bush and his administration. - Semirhage527, on 05/01/2008, -6/+8Yes, it's easy to get a nominee when you use an elitist, Winner-take-All primary system, isn't it? With so many people on the ballot, McCain didn't even need majorities to win his seat. Superdelegates may make the final say, but more Democrats had a voice in the nomination of their parties candidate than any Republicans did. And I'm a Libertarian!
- tc399, on 05/01/2008, -5/+5I'm a Libertarian as well, but I am going to vote for Obama. I actually hope Hillary DOES manage to tear the Democratic party apart. We need two political parties which actually stand for something other than greed.
- sanman, on 05/01/2008, -9/+2So you want to help Obama build his welfare state. You don't sound like much of a Libertarian to me. Obama attracts the Left-most voters of his party, which is about as Left as you can get. That means more regulation and not less.
- chaosium, on 05/01/2008, -0/+2"I actually hope Hillary DOES manage to tear the Democratic party apart. We need two political parties which actually stand for something other than greed"
That's not going to happen, though. It would take a much stronger independent vote than ten Ron Pauls, or an independent WIN to shake up the two main parties.
- tc399, on 05/01/2008, -5/+5I'm a Libertarian as well, but I am going to vote for Obama. I actually hope Hillary DOES manage to tear the Democratic party apart. We need two political parties which actually stand for something other than greed.
- cadmiumpaint, on 05/01/2008, -7/+9The Democratic party is the party of the people for one reason alone. Look at the diversity of their candidates. A Woman, An African American from immigrant parents. A Hispanic American...
the Republican party offered a bunch of middle aged white, privileged protestants in bad suits...AGAIN. - Fordi, on 05/01/2008, -2/+4I understand your frustrations... but just shut up and watch, will you?
- tc399, on 05/01/2008, -13/+30Yes, our elitists didn't manage to bankrupt the country and invalidate the constitution in 8 years, Four more years of Republicans will see the US in the same condition as Iraq....oh, did I mention spending a trillion dollars in Iraq and LOSING? - theaceoffire, on 05/01/2008, -1/+6Dude, they are just picking team members for the real game.
They can nominate whoever they want, your still gonna get to vote. - Fordi, on 05/01/2008, -1/+6Hey, idiot? There's a 'Reply' button.
- theaceoffire, on 05/01/2008, -1/+6Dude, they are just picking team members for the real game.
- reenie217, on 05/01/2008, -20/+30Please Indiana and NC vote for Obama don't get fooled by the clintons and the gop working together to keep things the same. They are banking on their deceitful ways to keep the poor and middle class in their place-don't fall for it!!!!
- Laughsatyou, on 05/01/2008, -11/+2unlike obama who wants to merge the middle class into the poor class.
- elipabst, on 05/01/2008, -1/+10I think you've been in your cabana too long, you might want to come out and look around because the middle class is getting demolished right now. If you are suggesting that bush tax cuts to the rich is the solution, then you need to stop sniffing glue.
- Laughsatyou, on 05/01/2008, -5/+2I did not say anythign about bush tax cuts. but I love how you obamabots judge everyone that doesnt like your candidate a bush supporter.
- elipabst, on 05/01/2008, -2/+3I'm aware you're a Paultard. You're aware that he was a co-sponsor on the bill to make the Bush tax cuts permanent, no?
- Laughsatyou, on 05/01/2008, -5/+2I did not say anythign about bush tax cuts. but I love how you obamabots judge everyone that doesnt like your candidate a bush supporter.
- LukasSmith, on 05/01/2008, -7/+3Bush tax cuts? are you ***** kidding? wtf does that tax cut have to do with middle class getting demolished? absolutely nothing. By the way Bush's tax cut has in fact NOT decreased the amount of tax money coming from the rich. I know in all your wet communist dreams that you hope the rich will have to surrender their wealth and we will all live like cubans but seriously these tax cuts mean nohing especially in the matter of the middle class. Read this article:http://www.slate.com/id/2108201
- elipabst, on 05/01/2008, -2/+62/3 of the tax cut went to the top 10%. The reason the amount of tax money from the rich hasn't decreased is because they are getting richer, so cutting their taxes just accelerates that. Frankly I wouldn't care if the gov't was actually making ends meet, but we're not, we're just putting everything on credit. So when we do decide to pay that off, the poor and middle class are going to have to shoulder more of that burden as well.
- LukasSmith, on 05/01/2008, -0/+1basically like I said you believe in stripping the wealthy. Communism. They already pay most of the taxes. Just check a tax chart.

I think you mean every republican candidate there, bud. They have been the favorite party for the middle-class to VOTE for, but they haven't been kind to the middle-class when it comes to actual fiscal policy.- Laughsatyou, on 05/01/2008, -5/+1I mean Republicrats in general. Im not your bud, guy.

- LukasSmith, on 05/01/2008, -10/+4your right laughsatyou. Obama would love nothing more then to keep the rich, rich, and the poor and middle class equal. I think Obama wants to bring Mexico to the US.
- Stormwern, on 05/01/2008, -1/+1They aren't fighting to keep things the same, they are fighting to win the presidency. It would be naive to think it's about anything other than their own egos.
- Laughsatyou, on 05/01/2008, -11/+2unlike obama who wants to merge the middle class into the poor class.
- Simonft, on 05/01/2008, -5/+48I can't find anywhere in the article itself that it says dozens.
- aurispector, on 05/01/2008, -21/+5SHHH! Don't quote facts!
Look, we have all the idiots mooning over Nobama; we know he cant win, just keep QUIET about it until the election! - synaesthesia, on 05/01/2008, -2/+16What, a sensationalist and inaccurate headline on digg? Get outta here...
- bond1963, on 05/01/2008, -2/+5
And how many dugg it without reading it? - had3l, on 05/01/2008, -0/+2Maybe the title of the article? "Senator: Obama Has Dozens Of Secret Superdelegates Lined Up"
- Simonft, on 05/02/2008, -0/+1The article itself, not the title of the article.
- aurispector, on 05/01/2008, -21/+5SHHH! Don't quote facts!
- 3tcp, on 05/01/2008, -8/+14Hopefully Dean, Pelosi, Gore & Edwards will say 'enough already' and stop this sometime in the next few weeks here. Clinton is tearing the party apart and even if it doesn't cost Obama the white house it will cost democrats victories in congressional and local elections.
- insomniac8400, on 05/01/2008, -7/+29What the hell if he has 40+ super delegates behind him, why aren't they coming forward? 40 more super delegates clinches the whole election and ends it. This means it is no longer Hillary destroying the democratic party, its the 40+ Obama super delegates waiting until June for no reason.
- cheezintern, on 05/01/2008, -0/+16They probably want to make sure the remaining primaries go the way of Obama, so they appear to be following the will of the people and all. That would make sense to me at least. Who knows though, it's politics.
- sonstone, on 05/01/2008, -2/+8Not to mention the political backlash they will get if Clinton actually pulls it off. The Clinton's helped a lot of these people get where they are, and a lot of people that have already stepped away are being cut off. I remember an article talking about how one of Clinton's advisors said that Kery was quote "dead" to them. They called Richardson a Judas when he showed Obama support. We've seen how dirty Clinton plays the game and so have they; and I bet they are keeping about their jobs and support moving forward.
- insomniac8400, on 05/01/2008, -1/+7Good thing it is impossible for her to pull it off. The most conservative estimates put Obama over the top with only 40 more super delegates. It is a fact that if he has those 40 people, this whole thing is over. Hillary can wine all she wants, but nothing can change this fact.
- sonstone, on 05/01/2008, -2/+8Not to mention the political backlash they will get if Clinton actually pulls it off. - Fordi, on 05/01/2008, -1/+2I really don't see it as destroying the party, and I don't understand how it can be seen that way without confirmation bias.
- insomniac8400, on 05/01/2008, -0/+1How can it be a good thing for hillary to attack obama when he has officially won? The math cannot be refuted, make no mistake, his win is official.
- Fordi, on 05/02/2008, -0/+1In the same way that it was good for Barack to write a book including his past drug use; it brings things out in the open early, so that the shock effect that would be there when the republicans would've dug it up later, isn't.
- insomniac8400, on 05/01/2008, -0/+1How can it be a good thing for hillary to attack obama when he has officially won? The math cannot be refuted, make no mistake, his win is official.
- chukd, on 05/01/2008, -0/+1Sounds like a parlor trick to make it seem like he has the nomination already, so everyone else will vote for him. If he really had them, they would of spoken up already to end the Clinton run. At this point, a gambler doesn't slow play his hand, this is all a bluff.
- cheezintern, on 05/01/2008, -0/+16They probably want to make sure the remaining primaries go the way of Obama, so they appear to be following the will of the people and all. That would make sense to me at least. Who knows though, it's politics.
- nullcodes, on 05/01/2008, -4/+12Superdelegates ... sounds like a good movie idea. Its better than "League of Extraordinary Gentlemen" anyway.
- nullcodes, on 05/01/2008, -1/+4Actually I meant to say a it sounds like a good bad-movie idea.
- sephiroth965, on 05/01/2008, -0/+3Anything is better than LoEG.
- Namelessthinker, on 05/01/2008, -0/+1I don't know about that, Watchmen babies was pretty bad.
- Fordi, on 05/01/2008, -0/+2Except "Expelled". Just finished watching it, and it was *terrible*, even by documentary standards.
- dizzythegreat, on 05/01/2008, -1/+2I think we should call the superdelegates "The Leage of Extraordinary Gentlemen." Or maybe we should just call congress that.
- Akairenn, on 05/01/2008, -0/+1Our government reminds me more of Mystery Men.
- nullcodes, on 05/01/2008, -1/+4Actually I meant to say a it sounds like a good bad-movie idea.
- TJATL, on 05/01/2008, -18/+9What will Obama change? I'll get more of my money seized by the federal government on every paycheck with him and his socialist programs. So why should I vote for this guy?
- malex, on 05/01/2008, -5/+16Well, how exactly would *you* advise paying for the gaping hole that Bush has sunk our country into? Seriously, I'd like to know.
- TJATL, on 05/01/2008, -4/+2the fair tax, not the income tax.
- Fordi, on 05/01/2008, -1/+2The problematic state of the economy was achieved by means of small, but sweeping incremental changes. There is nothing to say it can't be repaired in the same way.
- TJATL, on 05/01/2008, -1/+3So you think its ok for the government to seize citizen's money by law? When if you were to do the same to another individual you would go to jail!?!?!!?!? Logic creeping in yet?
- qwerter, on 05/01/2008, -1/+2If the government didn't "seize citizens' money," there would be no jails for anyone to be dragged to. Nor anyone to do the dragging. Nor any roads for anyone to be dragged upon. Need I go on?
- TJATL, on 05/01/2008, -1/+2Go read the "fair tax", by neal boortz, and realize why the income tax is BS....
- Fordi, on 05/02/2008, -1/+1TJ: I never said anything of the sort, though I do remember having blocked you for making exactly this sort of assumption of myself and others.
I know the income tax is crap. I know that it exists strictly to force US citizens to pay off interest at the federal reserve level. The answer, of course, is to close the drain before closing off the faucet. To do this, it requires not just removing the federal reserve, but first removing our dependence on the Fed. The first step to that is to allow the Mint to produce competitive currencies, like US (Non-Federal Reserve) Notes, gold and silver coin, and to allow the formation of completely (non-FDIC) independent banks.
It's a rather easy logical process to follow - you just trace backwards to 1919.
- petrodollar, on 05/01/2008, -1/+1WTF? The government would still be "seizing" your money under the fair tax.
- TJATL, on 05/01/2008, -0/+2collecting a tax at the time of a purchase and stealing your money from your paycheck and having you fill out a form to get part of it back IS COMPLETELY DIFFERENT!!!!!
- Fordi, on 05/01/2008, -1/+2The problematic state of the economy was achieved by means of small, but sweeping incremental changes. There is nothing to say it can't be repaired in the same way.
- michael43, on 05/01/2008, -1/+2They just named two, but if you believe in socialism that much, there are places you can move where it's already in place.
- TJATL, on 05/01/2008, -2/+2So you think its ok for the government to seize citizen's money by law? When if you were to do the same to another individual you would go to jail!?!?!!?!? Logic creeping in yet?
- petrodollar, on 05/01/2008, -1/+3Whoops! Looks like someone hasn't read the 16th Amendment of the US Constitution or that pesky part of Article I, Section 8, Clause 1 that says "The Congress shall have Power To lay and collect Taxes, Duties, Imposts and Excises."
- TJATL, on 05/01/2008, -4/+2the fair tax, not the income tax.

- biggerballs, on 05/01/2008, -3/+7We were the victim of predatory lending. Considering the weakening economy, I may loose my job and probably our house. We already can't afford healthcare, that shouldn't be something for the rich elites. Food prices are getting higher, it's almost coming down to a choice between gas so I can go to work and buy food, or food not to mention other expenses and bills we have. I've been looking for a second job, but can't get one, and it's because of our weakening economy. We are in a downward spiral, and if we don't wake up, band together to fight the neo-cons and greedy corporations and vote in Obama, we may not ever see that change this man would bring and may never recover.
- lpse2000, on 05/01/2008, -2/+2You were the victim of predatory lending? Translation: "You bit off more than you could chew, and you were actually the victim of your own stupidity." Not that the lenders are blame free, but come on, take responsibility for your decisions.

- sonstone, on 05/01/2008, -0/+19No way, do you know the type of power the Clinton's have in the party. They aren't coming out until they are sure they won't be punished if Clinton wins.
- SteveIsTheDude, on 05/01/2008, -2/+14Your spot on. They are scared ***** that if she wins after they vote for Obama they will be shut out. If she wins, it will be "The Clinton Party" and Obama people will be punished. If he wins, he will unify and take in the Clinton people (just not the actual Clintons, they will be shut out if Obama wins, rightfully, since they have helped McCain so much with their attacks.)
- elipabst, on 05/01/2008, -0/+1There's probably some truth to that, but it does make sense. Personally, if I was a superdelegate, I wouldn't want my vote to be the one that decides who's going to be the candidate. I'd rather the people of the party get their say first, before I throw my two cents in.
- sonstone, on 05/01/2008, -0/+19No way, do you know the type of power the Clinton's have in the party. They aren't coming out until they are sure they won't be punished if Clinton wins.

Afraid the democratic process of the populace actually casting a vote may not get your man into the seat?
- cadmiumpaint, on 05/01/2008, -5/+7I can see their strategy. Keep out of it and let the people's votes decide. I dunno. One could argue letting it go the convention would put HUGE amounts of attention and press on the Dems while little wimpy McCain will try and scrap for some press coverage ...... it could work.
- stonewaljacksn, on 05/01/2008, -0/+3of COURSE it could work. McCain is invisible recently.
- Fordi, on 05/01/2008, -0/+3Whether by strategy or accident, the end result is as you say, and as others say: Clinton backlash is avoided in the event that she wins, and the spotlight remains on the side of the democrats. As for 'tearing the democratic party apart', as is otherwise claimed - mostly by Fox and its parrots - I don't see that happening. Whether Clinton or Obama wins, McCain is a failure.
- reynolds3g, on 05/01/2008, -2/+3I am sure they have their reason's for not going public with support one way or the other, but I wish there was deadline in place, like June 1 or something. This "race" needs to end soon.

- DoomyMcDoomdoom, on 05/01/2008, -3/+4Though this is something I would like to believe as an avid Obama supporter. I'm forced to look at this and question its validity. If Senator Obama truly did have a small legion of superdelegate supporters waiting to, at a moments notice, jump to his aid and win the election he would have utilized the tool by now. The concept that these people are in waiting, ready to pounce on this primary election once Obama waves the flag is simply ludicrous. Why would he wait? So that the American people can become even more fed up with this election than they already are? I personally don't think so.
I'm going to have to call shenanigans on this one.- Fordi, on 05/01/2008, -0/+1An extended democratic election has a double-edged quality, when the republicans choose hastily: On one side, it has the potential to create some animosity toward the eventually chosen candidate, but on the other side, it rather reliably steals the spotlight away from the republican - thus granting the dems exposure while the 'pubs sit in the dark.
- pettdog78, on 05/01/2008, -0/+0Agreed, if the Republican primaries worked out the same as the Dem's Romney and McCain would probably still be fighting for the nomination now. Lotta people don't realize it but they were actually really close in a couple of states. Unfortunately with the Repubs if you win by 1% you win all the delegates for some of the larger states like California and Florida. That's why I like the way Repubs vote at the primary but dislike their way of distributing delegates, seems imbalanced.
- Fordi, on 05/01/2008, -0/+1Neither system is perfect. I do prefer the democrat method, even if the superdelegates get to change the rules from time to time. It's better than the block voting that occurs at the republican and general elections.

- nixr, on 05/01/2008, -0/+3Politically the super delegates can't and won't endorse until after the primaries are over. They can't create the perception that this thing was stolen by either candidate. this is why they aren't endorsing now and why they won't until after Puerto Rico votes in June. It's clear this thing is going to Obama almost regardless of what happens between now and then so Obama supporters need not worry. I would worry more about how all of this Wright nonsense will play out in November. I still think Obama hands McCain his ass in the general but I am just one of the countless kool-aid drinkers.

As Obama's numbers continue to tank in the polls he's going to watch those secret supers secretly changing their minds. The CBS/New York Times poll released today shows Obama and McCain in a dead heat and Clinton beating McCain by a 5-point margin. She leads McCain by 9 points in the Associated Press-Ipsos poll that came out two days ago. Neither of those polls reflect the damage done in the last couple of days by Rev. Wright. All while Obama's disapproval numbers are jumping like crazy. Ten percent in just the last couple of weeks.
He's done. There's not going to be a recovery from this slide. There's no time to resuscitate his campaign before it's go-time in Indiana, West Virginia and Kentucky. All of those states were Clinton territory before all this started. West Virginia was Clinton's by more than 20 points in several polls.
The only safe primary he has on the horizon is North Carolina. I was there yesterday and the radio is wall-to-wall with his commercials. They must be spending a fortune there. Even on religious radio he's wall-to-wall. His campaign apparently knows that North Carolina can be milked for a pretty serious percentage of their delegates. You've gotta hand it to them, too. They've fielded a really voter-friendly campaign. Like, I noticed that you can't even donate to Clinton's campaign with PayPal, which is just braindead. Obama's got a variety of painless donation options with matching donors and they've got a web site set up that they were plugging in NC to get first-time voters registered and out for the primary. They're WAY smarter about the mechanics of their campaign than Clinton. If his policies weren't nightmarish I'd probably have considered giving him my vote, but it's too late now. He's going down in flames like nobody in recent memory. Dean's nosedive after the press mocked his yelling was retarded, but it got all kinds of traction. This Rev. Wright thing actually has substance and it's turning into a juggernaut really fast. - zebraz, on 05/01/2008, -9/+5Only immature kids still believe in Obama's junk speech.

- Stevo23, on 05/01/2008, -1/+1I have no idea whether this is valid or not, but one theory I've heard as to why superdelegates who support Obama might not want to come forward yet is to give Clinton enough time to lose this on her own. In order to have a unified party, her supporters need to see that she lost fair and square. It's not good enough to have the superdelegates end it for Obama right now. Clinton's supporters would feel betrayed and pissed off. Give her time, she's (gradually) losing all by herself.
- jrock426, on 05/01/2008, -1/+1This theory makes logical sense to me without knowing either way.
- zebraz, on 05/01/2008, -0/+2Let's just analize this stuff all to death until we puke and choke on it.
- DrHoliday, on 05/01/2008, -2/+1Where is all this LGF scum coming from?

Blacks say they won't vote for Hillary, but the Dem's have screwed them over before and they are to stupid to change party's, even though the Republicans have done 30 X more for them than the Dem's ever will. Every 4 years they trick them and every 4 years these Idiots vote for them. It's really amazing.

"Clinton Decries China's Acquisition of Indiana Company -- Ignoring Her Husband's Role in the Sale
By JAKE TAPPER
Apr. 30, 2008—
As she campaigns throughout Indiana, Sen. Hillary Clinton has been talking quite a bit about Magnequench, a Valparaiso, Ind., factory that moved to China.
"We've got to elect a president next January who's going to remember Magnequench," Clinton told voters in Valparaiso on April 12.
It seems, however, that when it comes to Magnequench there's quite a bit that Clinton has conveniently forgotten.
