A delegate is essentially a super-voter; They get to vote for the GOP nominee. Regular voters will be voting to determine the delegates in your state Primary (or caucus); Regular voters can't vote for the GOP nominee. Remember, our system of government is a republic and not a democracy

- Minarchian, on 01/07/2008, -8/+4Remember to NOT tell anyone you are for Paul if you want to be a delegate!
If you do the neo-cons may not let you become a delegate.
Just beat the 'Republican Party is great" drum until after the convention and vote for Paul. Then it doesn't matter. - Herkimer56, on 01/07/2008, -4/+8I see that the Ron Paul supporters do not share the integrity and truthfulness that they claim that Ron Paul has.

"I see that the Ron Paul supporters do not share the integrity and truthfulness that they claim that Ron Paul has."
We want to be involved in the political process, because we care, because we are not apathetic. We are an informed voting block. We are active, honest, organized, decentralized, and Patriotic.
How is getting more involved in our electoral process not truthful or lacking in integrity? Sitting on our couches an trusting in the powers that be is what got our democracy in the sorry state that it is currently in. By getting involved at all levels, and being proactive, we get the government of the people, by the people, and for the people.
If you watched the video, you can get involved in the same way. I encourage you to. Especially if your views disagree with mine. That is what our system of government is all about. I have already started pursuing what it takes to become a delegate. So, if your views are different, by all means speak up, and get active. I am energized by Ron Paul's views and politics. What ever it takes for you to get energized in the way our country is governed, use it. It will help us all.
