Ron Paul Hits it out of the Park on CNN American Morning
restoretherepublic.com — Ron Paul on CNN - 28/04/08. "GOP can't shut me out." Ron Paul tells CNN's John Roberts he is still in the race and gaining support from delegates every day! Talks about his new book and about the NV state GOP convention where the GOP ran off the stage and turned off the lights to prevent Paul from getting the majority of national delegates.

- vbullinger, on 04/28/2008, -3/+7In case you haven't paid any attention, Ron Paul has been winning delegates left and right. He got half of Minnesota's delegates and most, if not all, of Missouri's. And there are plenty more states where that came from.
But then again, you're just a ***** troll, so, whatever.- ncairns, on 04/29/2008, -3/+4Yeah, no. It is mathematically impossible for Ron Paul to win the Republican nomination. Promise.
- thebaron2, on 04/29/2008, -3/+4McCain has 1,331 and only needs 1,191 to win.
Ron Paul has 21.
(#'s from cnn.com)
It's over. You guys need to drop the delusion.- ncairns, on 04/29/2008, -2/+3MSNBC, RCP and ABC say he has 14.
- demicritter, on 04/30/2008, -0/+1What's sad it the fact the media has ignored him and in spite of this he's still making headway. The Hillbeast and Blomama can't muster enough character to fill one thimble. They're shills for the system. Ron Paul is the only person echoing the tenets of the constitution and true freedom (eliminating the IRS and the privately owned Federal Reserve) and truly putting this country back on the right course.

only Ron Paul as president can save this country!- cageybee, on 04/28/2008, -10/+3so, lets see, say we pull all our troops from around the world like ron paul says. guess what will happen next??? first of all, Iraq and the whole OPEC will drop US dollar as an oil denominating currency and will probably switch to th Russian Ruble.
Second of all, there will be an attack on Israel (not that I care) which will start a very bad and a possible nuclear war.
Since US dollar will not be a world currency anymore because of abolishing of the dollar as the oil denominating currency, all of trillions of dollars will return back to USA and we will be facing a hyperinflation.
Also, there will be an economic crash within the USA because the US dollar will lose all of its powers and will be accepted only within US and will no longer be a convertible currency.
Since we the US dollar will no longer be a convertible currency, we will no longer be able to buy any foreign oil and will have to start producing our own energy. Where is US supposed to get its oil? I guess US will have to become REAL CONSERVATIVES and abolish all of the private transportation and especially big SUVs, not to mention, US will have to abolish the whole credit based monetary system. We are talking about a MASSIVE amount of junk all around US and massive losses for American people.
Next, since the Chinese consumer goods are cheaper than we can ever make them, and since the Chinese have the consumer goods monopoly within US, what are we going to be producing and at what wages? We surely can't enter into any consumer goods markets that are owned by China since they are so cheap, because WE WANT TO GET PAID. Are you willing to work for 15 cents per hour to beat Chinese wage of 26 cents per hour? And how on top of that any business is supposed to pay the property taxes that are much higher than that?
Now, lets talk about FREE markets without government's intervention which I don't know how they will be established after the worst economic crash ever, but anyhow...
markets went under government's regulations after companies started merging or cooperating on prices to make sure that they don't have to compete and lose money. so, after the monopolies were created and since these monopolies started hurting people's pockets, people called for government's intervention.
once someone got poisoned by food and wanted to hold someone accountable, the FDA was created to protect the people from bad business practitioners. once it was possible for American enemies to use American air/radio waves for attempt of destabilization of USA with the employment of information wars, then FCC was created. i can go on and on about how regulations come when the economy grows - the bigger the economy becomes, the bigger the government's intervention becomes.
now, what is it about Ron Paul's revolution that is actually good for the American people???
If Ron Paul really cares about American people, how come he is not talking about Marxism or the power of the working class??? Instead, he wantc to create a society where people with money are THE LAW. WTF???- trulywed, on 04/28/2008, -0/+5You seem to be assuming that if we pull troops out of foreign countries that will cause the dollar to lose value. This is pretty far out there, since the major reason it's losing value is because we're inflating and destroying it ourselves in order to fund our exploits around the world.
Change this part of your examination and your conclusion changes to one of positivity for Ron Paul. Wake up man!- cageybee, on 04/29/2008, -3/+2yes, Saddam started asking for Euros in 2000. Right now, the majority of Iraq are Shiites who favor Iran and Iran has dropped the US dollar and wants Iraq to be selling oil at the Iranian Oil Bourse that transacts in Euros, Iranian Rials, Russian Rubles, and Yen - No USD.
- jeanine22, on 04/28/2008, -0/+7I lived in the Marxist collectivist state was born and raised in communist Poland.
Only truly free market is the way and not the crooked corporate fascist state we have now enveloping the whole globe.
Liberty means that the state is not on your back...equals freedom !
China is dependent on the US economy and that and most other countries will not dump their dollar(sitting on the same economic branch)...Russia uses only euros these days they think of US currency as a below toilet paper value(have lots of Russian friends)
ending the Empire in its hegemonic military sense is the only solution.
return power to the people.
Smash the congress corruption...sewn pockets............- cageybee, on 04/29/2008, -6/+1yet you understood nothing about Communism. Communism is Liberty. I recommend you read Karl Marx.
Free market leads to FASCISM - just think that corporations can do whatever they like without an oversight. That's why we regulate corporations so much.
Contrary to your beliefs about Communism, in USSR they had checks and balances too to make sure that the government does not abuse its powers - they had a communist party, the congress, and the KGB.
I don't know how it was implemented in Poland, but this is how it was in the USSR to make sure that no one is abusing their powers.
The loss of the Soviet Union is a tragedy for all of the working people around the world and not just for the Russian people. Russia was a leader of the global communist revolution and its goal was to free the working class from neo-slavery and imperialists.
You should really read sometimes instead of believing what you hear.- hadees, on 05/01/2008, -0/+4I don't know how you can read Marx and believe that the USSR was what he was talking about. The USSR was a dictatorship with an elite class of citizens, the top party members. I would say in theory a totally socialist government that actually followed Marx's views would be a utopia if it weren't for human nature. Large groups of people don't respond the way Marx thinks they do, total socialism only works on the small scale.
- wpi97, on 05/01/2008, -0/+3"Contrary to your beliefs about Communism, in USSR they had checks and balances too to make sure that the government does not abuse its powers - they had a communist party, the congress, and the KGB."
Ha-ha-ha! ROFLMAO!
Checks in balances in the USSR! Now I have heard everything! I don't know where you get this from, but I was born and raised in the USSR, and I saw no checks, and no balances. It was a dictatorship of one person: the general secretary of the central committee of the communist party. Only two general secretaries left office while still alive: Khruschev, who was removed from power as a result of a palace coup, and Gorbachev, whose office disappeared as a result of the disintegration of the Soviet Union.
- cageybee, on 04/29/2008, -6/+1yet you understood nothing about Communism. Communism is Liberty. I recommend you read Karl Marx.

- brokencrystal, on 04/29/2008, -0/+4@cageybee:
You obviously do not understand anything about economics. That tangent of a delusional story you just told came from where? Did you just make it up off the top of your head? Is it a scare tactic to keep people from voting for Ron? Do you really not understand economics at all? Where did all that come from? I hope you don't really believe all that garbage you just spewed.
- trulywed, on 04/28/2008, -0/+5You seem to be assuming that if we pull troops out of foreign countries that will cause the dollar to lose value. - cashman57, on 04/28/2008, -4/+16As more people realize that neither of the lying leftist liberal lawyers from Chicago have what it takes to lead and don't want four more years of undeclared wars Dr. Paul is getting more attention.
Now we have the long hot summer to endure and as more people pull up to the pump and have sticker shock they will remember it is the Democrats who have blocked domestic drilling and refineries and Democrats who hit them hard with taxes at the pump.
They will remember the words of Ron Paul and his plan for peace and prosperity.
They will reject the economic mental midget Senators and turn to the candidate with real experience and real solutions.
When the economy is collapsing it is no time to put a tax and spend liberal in the White House and that is all the Senators have to offer. - jbenson2, on 04/28/2008, -16/+4Would make a bit more sense if the headline read:
Ron Paul Gets Hit out of the Park on CNN American Morning - Look4Truth, on 04/28/2008, -4/+17It's amazing to me how the RLC and brain dead masses can't tell the difference in someone of substance and honor versus 3 globalists shills who aren't worth the paper their names are printed on.
- ncairns, on 04/29/2008, -3/+2You aren't very smart, are you?
- mainequahog, on 04/29/2008, -2/+2Seems to me you're the one who isn't very smart
- ncairns, on 04/29/2008, -4/+2Yeah, you're right - I should probably recognize the deep intelligence it takes to spout platitudinous drivel about 'globalist shills' and 'brain dead masses'. I mean, with a name like 'Look4Truth' he MUST be an inquisitive mind! My bad.

Refreshing to see an interview with Dr. Paul and some substantial questions. Really shows that he is much more intelligent than Barrack McClinton - MadKennyP, on 04/28/2008, -14/+5We truly need a medical doctor in The White House. oh, wait? The President deals with "laws"?
- vbullinger, on 04/28/2008, -3/+10That's cool. He's also been in Congress for 20 years. He's got that covered.
How long has Obama been in office? As long as he's had a drug problem? Nope.
How long has Hitlery been in office? Almost as much time as Ron Paul has spent writing books on economics and foreign policy? Ok, thanks, just checking.- ncairns, on 04/29/2008, -6/+3Ya know, something tells me you wouldn't go to a medical doctor who claimed he got his expertise 'in the field'.
Obama did his undergrad at Columbia and then graduated magna cum laude from Harvard. He lectured on Constitutional law for a decade at the University of Chicago Law School.
Ron Paul went to a third-tier school and then became a vagina doctor and evolution denier.
If my girlfriend gets a UTI, I'll send her his way. For a legal expert, though, I'll probably defer to someone with, you know, a degree in law. Actually, I take back that first part too. I love my girlfriend. I'd send her to someone who went somewhere better than ***** Duke.- Kangalanatolian, on 04/29/2008, -3/+4snob

- JATCA69, on 04/28/2008, -1/+12The vetting on McCain has just begun. His
hypocrisy, corruption and senility are just
starting to be exposed in the MSM. If there is
enough unrest in the Republican party over their
nominee and the Democrats self destruct over their
nomination then Paul has a very good chance at
gaining some real momentum. Although, the idea of
the MSM (controlled by multi-national
corporations) allowing Paul to get a foothold
without completely trashing him, is hard to
imagine. To many sheep in the U.S. for real
change. Sad. - digital0n3, on 04/28/2008, -1/+14Is it just that he doesnt have a pretty face? Are you so concerned with the appearances of your candidate? Whether he wears a lapel pin, or dealt with her husband getting sucked off by the secretary, or that you think we should be in iraq for 100 years.
THIS IS NOT AMERICAN IDOL PEOPLE DO YOUR RESEARCH AND TREAT IT AS IT IS.
(The most important decision in your lifetime.)
You people need to get your head out of your a ss before its too late.
I was an Obama supporter, but there is no substance, why else do you think the scandals came out, its because they will end up together anyway, and talking about f uckin pins or other BS gets them out of having to talk about the REAL issues.

You can't fix problems if you continue the same policys that cause it. Libertarianism has failed. They tried it in New Zealand, they tried it in Chile, and they're trying it in Hong Kong.
And guess what? Fail, fail, fail.
But why would evidence sway your opinion - you idolize Ron Paul, a fool too dense to even believe in evolution!- Kangalanatolian, on 04/29/2008, -4/+2You have FAILED to supply specific cases and therefore to make sense. Please try again later.
- ncairns, on 04/29/2008, -3/+2If you don't know that libertarian economics failed in Chile and New Zealand, you're just stupid - or, my guess would be about sixteen years old. As for Hong Kong, aside from the first hand experience with the failures of libertarianism gleaned from having lived there, it might also interest you that over a quarter of the population is below the poverty line even though Heritage ranks it the most economically free society in the world. Funny, according to libertarian philosophy that means it should be prosperous.

- StokeyBob, on 04/29/2008, -1/+7Ron Paul is a true American that stands for, "We the People", the United States Constitution and the rule of law. If he is elected the United States will return to being a sovereign nation. The New World Order crowd will once again be held at bay.
I'm tired of seeing their puppets dancing to their tune in regards to they way our country is run. - Marsharks, on 04/29/2008, -1/+7The American people have spoken already, they do NOT want sound money, they do NOT want free markets, they do NOT want liberty nor freedom. They do NOT want Ron Paul!!! But I do!
- Vali585, on 04/29/2008, -2/+7Get Ron Paul's new book, "The Revolution - A Manifesto". Read it and spread it around. It is incomprehensible that any American could read it and disagree that Congressman Paul is the Leader that America needs now. The entire world would benefit greatly, and thank us.

"...truth is loved in such a way that those who love some other thing want it to be the truth, and, precisely because they do not wish to be deceived, are unwilling to be convinced that they are deceived." ---St. Augustine, Confessions (10:33) 5th c.- ncairns, on 04/29/2008, -6/+3For the love of *****, he's a vagina doctor! I could *maybe* understand this pissed-pants fanaticism over him if he were actually an economist or a lawyer or a political scientist or ANYTHING with ANY expertise whatsoever in a field relevant to leading the nation. - Sk00L, on 04/29/2008, -0/+2LoL ncairns has some serious Trolling issues I don't mind a debate but this guy has way too much time, far too little facts and will probably end up arguing over a spelling error in any retort he gets for lack of understanding. i am sure some of his responses sound well thought out to him but lacking the fundamental data to spout his drivel. I don't blame him though he is obviously an attention whore who seems to be compensating for lack of parental love when he was a child and now he blames Doctors (all Doctors) for not finding the right prescription for his imbalance so he can live what he feels is a normal life. poor ncairns
