Ron Paul Denies Theory of Evolution watch!
youtube.com — I like his ideas and his to-be-policies. But come on Dr Paul!... spend 5 minutes to read about what the "Theory of Evolution" is. Using the age-old argument that "it's just a theory" is absolute stupidity in regards to scientific theories. The theory of creationism IS a theory. The Theory of Evolution is a thoroughly tested and experimented theory.

- PATSCRU, on 12/29/2007, -8/+2Anti-choice, does not believe in evolution, does not believe in global warming, does not believe in the separation of church and state, and has advocated for prayer in schools.....Sounds like the perfect regressive Christian fundamentalist in disguise!
- bloodypulp, on 12/29/2007, -0/+5Buried for slander. Dr. Paul is the only candidate who would: eliminate the IRS, Federal Reserve, and Department of Homeland Security, while decriminalizing marijuana and reigning in the bloated military-industrial complex. He's not anti-choice- he's for letting the states decide, and he won't let his personal beliefs get in the way of protecting our liberties.
I may disagree with his beliefs regarding religion and abortion, but he is still far and away the best choice for President.
Shame on the submitter for slandering such a humble, honest public servant.- treelovinhippie, on 12/29/2007, -0/+2Slander lol. Did I not mention right at the beginning of the description that I agree with a lot of his ideas and policies... all of which you just mentioned there. And on those points I think he would make a great President.
However, if he is going to reject the Theory of Evolution, then he needs to establish why. He has said in that video that he doesn't see it as a big issue. But it is. Is he going to teach creationism side-by-side with Evolution, or just scrap Evolution-teaching all-together? He needs to clarify his position on why he doesn't think Evolution is as accurate as we have currently, and he needs to clarify if that belief will impose on his political policies should he make Presidency.
No slandering mate, simple questions.- bloodypulp, on 12/29/2007, -0/+1That ignorant first post got me going- I agree that it would be nice if he would elaborate a bit on it. It doesn't worry me a whole lot since his record suggests that he won't legislate his personal religious beliefs.
