Ron Paul Delegates told to stay home
waronyou.com — Bands, balloons and the chance to rub shoulders with party movers and shakers are part of the allure of being a delegate to a national political convention. They have tried intimidation, lies, and all other tactics available to them because they know McWarmonger is a weak candidate and they don't want that fact to be apparent on the convention floor. The only real problem they have is we are not going away. The delegates from my region were to go to the huckster but since he dropped out they will go to the second place finish, Ron Paul. There is really only one hope for the Republicans to be in the White House and it isn't the economic mental midget Senator from Arizona.
- stfucupcake, on 04/20/2008, -1/+19This election was eye opening. Despite the fact that Ron Paul emerged as a force to be reckoned with in this race, he has been largely ignored by the Republican Party Elite. Consider how converting voters is not an easy task, you would think that he would be somewhat celebrated for bringing so many new, enthusiastic faces into the Republican fold. But that is hardly the case and speaks volumes about the party. Like many other Ron Paul supporters, I doubt I remain a republican after voting for the Man on April 22nd.
I doubt any Ron Paul Delegate will stay home and be quiet. But good try, lol. That would raise a howl of laughter at my local meet up group.- LumpyRevolution, on 05/13/2008, -0/+4I'm going to regain my sovereignty if Ron Paul doesn't get elected... let me tell you too, he is getting stronger and stronger every day. This is far from over. People are waking up. Maybe it's just fast enough. I believe he has a very good chance but I don't want to go on blind faith. I'm keeping that yard sign in my yard forever. they can give me Ron Paul or give me death.
