Republican voters who voted in primaries and caucuses effectively ended his campaign by giving him less than ten percent of total votes. He did not even win in his home state of Texas. His campagin is an epic fail.
Can you hear that? That would be the sound of nobody listening anymore. Not that I have anything against Paul but its not realistic for him to continue and its a waste of money that he could just donate to Charities.
It ended before it began. Paul's campaign is full of outlandish claims and false economics that pander to the internet crowd who have a tendency to find "facts" that support any point of view.
I've dealt with his supporters quite a bit. Do you know who really supports Ron Paul? It's people who are fairly successful and got there without anybody else's help. They like Paul because he basically stands for destroying all assistance to the American people. It was a giant pain in the ass for Paul supporters to be successful; why should anyone else get it any easier? They stand for blocking progress, frankly.
So I was reading Dr. Paul's new book today and saw this gem: "Until the U.S. invasion in 2003, Iraq had never had a suicide terrorist attack in its entire history."
If that's not enough to discredit Hillary and McCain's campaign of ignorance and ego, then I don't know what is.
I was a pretty huge Paul supporter when it seemed like he could have a chance. I don't understand why he's still trying to become the Republican nomination. I thought he was supposed to be a supporter of democracy and fairness. There's absolutely no way his receiving the nomination can be justified in lieu of how America has voted.
As an American who believes he understands things:
I watched Shock and Awe thinking we were doing the right thing.
I watched Bush steal the elections.
I watched McCain get called the one, only, single candidate left on the Republican 08 ballots.
I know it's over, but I'm still glad that he realizes he owes it to his supporters and people that donated to continue to push on despite having no chance of winning.
Why are Ron Paul stories popping up again? It's cute but so passe. Let's move on to a more relevant and politically significant topic like Rick-rolling.
Ron Paul had some good policies, but he didn't support net neutrality. The day net neutrality dies is the day when your government can control what you read and hear. I love Ron Paul, but that one policy of his I can't never agree on.
http://www.revolutionmarch.com Be there at D.C. for the Revolution March on July 12th. And don't forget to purchase Ron Paul's new book: "The Revolution: A Manifesto"
So long since we watched the bury brigade have their way with Ron Paul. So many dollars printed, so much less value in the dollar. You're getting what you deserve. Paul supporters hope he continues to spread the truth, so that when things get so bad that the average person finally starts to shake their fist at our governments irresponsibility and the Fed's hidden tax on the middle class (by devaluing the dollar, causing inflation) a few more might remember, and think, "Holy S*%t, maybe that Ron Paul guy was right."
Politics is not the way to bring about change. Working within a system of violence is hardly an honorable thing to do. Freedom starts at home, not by using the gun of the state for your own bidding. http://freedomainradio.com/
