thenewamerican.com — The Revolution, A Manifesto by Ron Paul Review By: Charles Scaliger Every now and then a book changes the course of human history. Such were the political writings of the American founding era — the pamphlets of Thomas Paine, the Federalist Papers, and Adam Smith’s Wealth of Nations prominent among them....

- oldhick, on 05/16/2008, -0/+2Dang, Amazon is on back order... I have to friggin wait until May 28th! That sucks.
- oruval, on 05/15/2008, -3/+21Ron Paul is the only candidate that will save the Constitution. McCain, Hillary, and Obama all speak of change yet none of them are actually doing anything that isn't status quo for the Military- -Industrial-Banking complex. Ron Paul Fights for your and my constitutional freedoms and has been doing this for 30 years in congress as a Republican. I highly suggest the enjoyment of reading this marvelous book of truth.
- Hannah2, on 05/15/2008, -2/+20A must read for every American. No matter your political outlook, Democrat,Republican, Independent, or Constitutionalist, as an American you will enrich your understanding beyond anything you have ever learned. Your best investment yet, in your future, your children's future, America's future. . You won't be able to put it down!
- itsmesunny, on 05/15/2008, -2/+16Dr. Ron Paul's book is a must read for every american. This book should be required reading in every high school! He is a truly magnificent man who sticks to his principals and upholds the constitution which gives us liberty from government tyranny! His record of voting is impeccable. President Ron Paul sounds darn good to me!
- Kent4jmj, on 05/15/2008, -3/+13Read it, read it again, highlight and then do the same with everything on his 'reading list.'
Frederic Bastiat the law is good start and the http://mises.org/ website is an absolute must. - FrozenPie, on 05/16/2008, -0/+10I finished this book a few days before my AP Government exam and lo and behold, the open response section had a question about monetary policies, the federal reserved, etc. I can safely say, thanks to Dr. Ron Paul, I dominated that test.
- mentallyinhell, on 05/16/2008, -0/+6I don't think anyone who's read the book will willingly trash it.
- chicofaraby, on 05/16/2008, -11/+2Nothing funnier than comparing a nut from Texas to Thomas Paine.

If he's a nut, you're a pube. - cashman57, on 05/16/2008, -2/+5Nothing funnier than a person with less education calling Ron Paul a nut.
I notice that the opponents of Ron Paul have nothing to say about the facts presented in this book so they trash talk about Ron Paul the person without realizing they just labeled themselves as ignorant.
I wonder if they are afraid to read the book or just being intentionally ignorant. - salsero96, on 05/16/2008, -1/+7Ron Paul supports Liberty and Freedom. He wants to restore the US Constitution. He wants to stop occupation of other countries and at the same time strengthen our military at home. He wants to create "true" free, open trade with other countries while protecting our sovereignty. He has 20 years in Congress and has a voting record to back up his beliefs. He NEVER flip-flops. You can't say that for ANY other candidate.
...and you call Ron Paul a "nut" and continue support candidates who offer more of the same policies that got us in the mess that we are in today.
And I ask you...
Who is the "NUT"? - oldhick, on 05/16/2008, -1/+5What's funny is how loyalist attacked Pain with the exact same rhetoric you use against Ron Paul.
- isparadiselost, on 05/16/2008, -4/+0Your carbon footprint is too high. Please stop breathing.

- orxor, on 05/16/2008, -0/+6I bought a bunch of copies of this book. I've been giving it out to people asking that if they like it to donate some money to Ron Pauls campaign and pass the book on to someone else and if they don't to just give it back to me. So far I haven't gotten any copies back.
- plimpton777, on 05/16/2008, -0/+6Great book. I got a signed copy. Ron Paul, baby! Now and forever!
- eyeopener, on 05/25/2008, -0/+3This is probably the best review of Paul's book yet, mostly because it so effectively conveys the book's historical importance. The longer this book stays #1 on the New York Times Bestseller List, the more that the Internationalists will wail and gnash their teeth. It's a nice thought.
