People don't like getting their hands dirty, or having to always mind the details. People want appliances. Something they can just "turn the key" and it runs like it was supposed to.
People want someone else to solve these problems, and thats why they vote for ever larger Govenment programs, because that alleviates their guilt and responsibility. - MarkEarhart, on 08/25/2008, -0/+1Unfortunately, rather than following the Constitution and having a small federal government with checks and balances between the three branches US Presidents now have godlike powers. It really is tragic, and will lead to our downfall if we don't put an end to it.
