Pro-Clinton Diggers Try to Bury Jed Report's Latest Video
jedreport.com — Despite that strong positive reaction, shortly after the Bosnia and Back Again video was posted on Digg, some (presumably pro-Clinton) digg users buried the video, despite getting over 300 Diggs. So it seems pretty clear that someone doesn't want people to see this video.
- 3182 diggs
- digg it
- DPolitico, on 04/17/2008, -43/+180It's a sad day when people resort to suppression of speech in order to promote a candidate.
- ezrastiles, on 04/17/2008, -8/+19thanks for this. it's really frustrating to see this happen.
- BananaGrabber, on 04/17/2008, -10/+12There's no such thing as Hillary supporters on digg. I burried it as a dup because of it's the same trite content that's been on the front page for months now and I for one am tired of seeing the same crap over and over again. I'm sure there are hundreds of people who feel the same and burried it for the same reason I did. There's no pro-Hillary conspiracy going on. You guys are paranoid.
- chewbie, on 04/17/2008, -6/+6EXACTLY. + I don't even live in the US so some stories are not of my interest. Hillary doesn't have any backing on the net. Unfortunately there's a helluva lot of people in the states who don't visit the internet for political info so she does have supporters. Quite sad really
- cawpin, on 04/17/2008, -8/+2While I very much dislike the Clintons I am burying this story as well. I buried the second, and third, stories because they were, as BG mentioned, dupes. That makes this story inaccurate.
- bjornski, on 04/17/2008, -0/+10Then you might want to avoid reading the "2008 elections" section.
It's not going to get any better until at least November.
Prepare now, and un-check the topic, or deal with it.
- nospinhere, on 04/17/2008, -16/+18Wow, the hypocrisy of the Obama digg brigade is blinding.
- djm101, on 04/17/2008, -5/+4Exactly, burying Obama articles or not digging Hillary ones, where's the difference?
- artisresistance, on 04/17/2008, -1/+4/sarcasm

- patpl22391, on 04/17/2008, -12/+77When was the last time a positive story about a candidate OTHER than Ron Paul, Dennis Kucinich and now Barack Obama, EVER made the front page. It NEVER happens.
- iamnotrich, on 04/17/2008, -6/+16thanks for saying it.
- noahgelman, on 04/17/2008, -4/+11Kucinich got to the front page? That was so long ago I don't even remember it. I'm not trying to be funny, I'm serious, I don't remember
- innocentsinner, on 04/17/2008, -1/+13It was when he was pushing for Cheney's impeachment. And again, of course, when he endorsed Obama.
- bjornski, on 04/17/2008, -11/+7Examples please. And actual positive stories. Not pandering for the cameras.
- bjornski, on 04/17/2008, -3/+7Lots of diggs down, and not a single example of a positive story.
That truly says a lot.
- bjornski, on 04/17/2008, -3/+7Lots of diggs down, and not a single example of a positive story.
- sandbags, on 04/17/2008, -11/+5maybe that say's something about those candidates? funnily enough, the democratic media (digg etc) loves these guys where as it seems the mainstream (read corporate) media seems slanted the other way. Hmmm.......makes you wonder doesn't it?
- WikiEasy, on 04/17/2008, -4/+10You sir, have been brainwashed by Digg.
- Drax0n, on 04/17/2008, -5/+5When was the last time Hillary did somthing that wasn't a dirty political trick or a down right lie?
- gravityboard, on 04/17/2008, -1/+6I also believe that these dirty tactics are representative of how a Hillary Clinton administration would act in the White House. It's OK to feel that dirty political tricks and lies make someone unsuited to the job of president, but if you think Hillary is PURELY evil then you need to go read something in addition to digg because you're too impressionable. It's easy to get caught up on this site thinking that Obama is a god everyone in the world hates scientology as much as we do.

- FATEorFORTUNE, on 04/17/2008, -16/+44well guess what, obama supporters have been doing it for MONTHS. talk about suppression
- forgiste, on 04/17/2008, -13/+7Oh yeah? like what? Name one instance.
- badjoke, on 04/17/2008, -4/+19I'm an Obama supporter and everything, but you can't deny that digg is biased. If Hillary or John McCain ever did anything right, or gave an inspirational speech, do you honestly think it would be getting the same amount of front-paging as an Obama equivalent?
People automatically bury pro-Hillary stories and digg up anti-Hillary stories (for good reason.)- youareretarded, on 04/17/2008, -7/+15I think you answered your own question:
"If Hillary or John McCain ever did anything right, or gave an inspirational speech"
Have they made or done anything that meets that criteria? - bjornski, on 04/17/2008, -6/+14The "IF" there is a big qualifier. So far that haven't met that criteria.
- goomba323, on 04/17/2008, -4/+5I don't think Obama supporters go out and bury pro-McCain or pro-Hillary articles, why would they? I don't think there are enough supporters for those candidates on digg to get a positive Hillary or a positive McCain article to the front page. Not that those types of articles exist (to any relevancy). And the thing about Obama supporters is that we are reasonable people who would listen to the other side if they ever did anything that we consider in "good character" or "inspirational", but the fact of the matter is that they are no Obama. The man has run one of the best campaigns in recent memory, he's probably one of the most prolific speakers of our generation, and has the ability to answer a question without insulting the viewers intelligence. McCain and Hillary just don't possess what Obama has.
- MUFDVR3669, on 04/17/2008, -3/+1Just go through the comments of these articles. If somebody tries to defend Hilary they get dugg down. Obama supporters on digg are not that reasonable of people, look at the daily attackings of Hilary. Just like your boy retarded two above ya, acting like Hilary has "never" done anything right.
- youareretarded, on 04/17/2008, -7/+15I think you answered your own question:
- twoweektrial, on 04/17/2008, -8/+4Your point doesn't have any backing, you can't make the argument 'if they did something right digg would bury it', we haven't seen real pro-hillary stories anywhere, and just saying that Obama supporters are supressing speech without evidence won't convince anyone that you're right. Isn't it possible that there are more pro-Obama stories because Obama does more meriting praise?
- WikiEasy, on 04/17/2008, -0/+5The fact that you're not familiar with any proves the point exactly.
Let me put it another way. There's nobody on this planet that's 100% good, or bad.

- Mizzike, on 04/17/2008, -6/+4Track the # of buries this story gets: http://www.ajaxonomy.com/buryrecorder/index.php?ad ...
- Kautylia, on 04/17/2008, -2/+145 buries versus 2000+ diggs? Wow, you really proved your point.
I've burying Obama stories sometimes just because I'm so damn sick of them. Ever other story is about him, and very few are important. If they are important, then cool. But should "Bruce Springstein Endorses Obama" really make front page? - Mizzike, on 04/17/2008, -0/+1Unfortunately ajaxonomy doesn't always catch every single bury... it's not perfect, but it's cool to watch on certain stories (assuming it's working properly).
- Kautylia, on 04/17/2008, -2/+145 buries versus 2000+ diggs? Wow, you really proved your point.
- NightVortez, on 04/17/2008, -9/+29Wait, what? I don't get it, Obama supporters buried multiple (if not all) Ron Paul stories back when he dominated digg, even had a whole site dedicated to it, submit multiple Anti-Clinton stories and buried anyone who dared to side with her in them, called everyone a psychopath who disagrees with you (also done by Paul supporters) and now, you dare talk about suppression of free speech? I don't complain about this myself, because suppression of free speech is the fundamental idea in which digg is based on, but how can Obama (and Paul) supporters to any extent claim the suppression of free speech by the supporters of any other group?
- culbeda, on 04/17/2008, -1/+10Obama supported buried Ron Paul stories? If by "Obama supporters", you mean anyone who isn't a strict-Constitutionalist or a Libertarian, then I guess you're right. People were burying Ron Paul stories because the vast majority doesn't really share his views, aside from wanting the US out of the war.
And paranoid conspiracy theories like yours do little to help the "Paulites" cause.- NightVortez, on 04/17/2008, -0/+1The majority clearly did share his views, as the majority share the views of Obama right now, hence we're seeing a majority of his stories on digg. The reason I call out Obama supporters is because they are the ones who commented calling everyone a psychopath. The point is "Obama supporters" buried Paul stories and now they are complaining that "Clinton supporters" doing the same, by the way note how both of us made this generalization yet you chose to center this at me.
What paranoid conspiracy theories? Is my "theory" any more paranoid than "Pro-Clinton Diggers Try to Bury Jed Report's Latest Video"? - magus_melchior, on 04/18/2008, -0/+1@NightVortez: You can help your paranoid conspiracy theory by first providing evidence that Obama supporters specifically buried Paul stories. And correlation is, at best, circumstantial.
- NightVortez, on 04/17/2008, -0/+1The majority clearly did share his views, as the majority share the views of Obama right now, hence we're seeing a majority of his stories on digg. - hematochezia, on 04/17/2008, -4/+30Wha....? All I ever see on the front page is the intellectual equivalent of "Hilary lied about what she had for lunch!" side by side with "Obama's Pubic Hair is Spun from 24k Gold!". If equal time is really your issue... back to the drawing board.
- wastedlife, on 04/17/2008, -16/+21Oh really? Watch this....
RON PAUL!
So do you digg up or down?- bjornski, on 04/17/2008, -3/+14Down, because you're trolling.
- bjornski, on 04/17/2008, -1/+2And the fact that you're getting dugg up, not for saying anything ABOUT him, but just mentioning his name proves what?
The bury brigade is after you? - DPolitico, on 04/17/2008, -2/+3Since I didn't have anything to do with the Ron Paul episode I guess I'll digg the comment, as an effort to prove that I don't care what people digg, just don't suppress.
- offthewagon, on 04/17/2008, -3/+8digg is all about people trying to vote their opinion. if a group like one person, they'll digg them, if they don't, they'll bury them. don't hate the players. hate the game
http://pollajudd.ytmnd.com/ - WikiEasy, on 04/17/2008, -8/+3BAHAHAHAHA what a double-edged sword of a comment. All the Obama supporters and spammers should take a good look at Digg the last few months.
Pot, here's Kettle.- Drax0n, on 04/17/2008, -1/+4Positive hillary articles arn't on digg because she hasn't done anything worth noting that wasn't a dirty political trick or a down right lie....
- SpaceMonkeyZero, on 04/17/2008, -2/+5It's a sad day when people whine and complain that some shady group of people are burying your lame ass submission to Digg. You sound like the truthers when they complain about being buried.
- sooter8, on 04/17/2008, -4/+1I am in no way shape or form for Hillary Clinton AT ALL, but it's annoying seeing new topics about Obama EVERY day (especially about new supporters, etc) Let's get the good / bad on each candidate...Don't bury bad things just because it's about your candidate of choice! (The whole point of this digg topic)
- bernandoo, on 04/17/2008, -0/+6Since when is burying a story "suppression of free speech" and not "free speech" in itself. It's people like you that misunderstand true "free speech" and "open mindedness" and end up being just as much a bigot as the next guy.
- DPolitico, on 04/17/2008, -3/+1If you look at the comment I specifically did not say "free" speech because I do understand what is true "free speech" and "open mindedness." Nice of you to demonstrate those qualities by calling me a bigot.
- exomni, on 04/17/2008, -1/+1Diggers should get together and pay for this video to be televised on prime-time in Pennsylvania.
- rhkaloge, on 04/17/2008, -1/+2It's a sad day when people are getting poltical "facts" on Digg! I can't wait to see this place once the general election starts.
- chocolatetacos, on 04/17/2008, -0/+4People on Digg burying things they don't agree with? I'm SHOCKED.
/sarc - normalkid0615, on 04/17/2008, -2/+0hey you dick
I've also noticed my satire about Hillary saying Memphis should be named the National Championship suddenly losing diggs in the last few days. It's a sad day when people resort to suppression of speech to promote their candidate.
you stole your line!!! ruff ruff vote for hil-dog- WhatInThe42o, on 04/17/2008, -0/+1Look at the name of the posters, you ***** moron.

here's the new one
http://digg.com/2008_us_elections/Devastating_Clin ... - chanop, on 04/17/2008, -0/+3Thanks, now 7/10 of top stories are pro-obama or anti-hillary stories, and some are duplicates. baaaaah, baaaah
- ezrastiles, on 04/17/2008, -7/+6that digg link is buried.
- diggeradoo, on 04/17/2008, -14/+29Post it with a different URL and re-digg
- yogurtslinger, on 04/17/2008, -8/+8This is one video that I would be happy to digg multiple submissions to keep it alive until Hitlary has it removed from youtube.
Make sure that someone keeps a copy of it and keep it up on youtube no matter what. - sl9sl9, on 04/17/2008, -4/+8No for god's sake please don't. The front page is already full of pro-Obama and anti-Clinton spam as it is.
- magus_melchior, on 04/18/2008, -0/+1You know, you can customize your front page to block 2008 US Elections...
- salomejones, on 04/17/2008, -5/+2Even better, the admins/engineers/web people over at Digg could implement a very simple system to make it more difficult for bury brigades to come in and bury stories. It doesn't seem to be terribly well known (though why is beyond me), but it is none the less the case that many (but not all) of these bury brigades contain many fewer people than it appears---these jackasses tend to log in multiple times under multiple accounts from the same machine in quick succession.
So just pop in a little script that checks logins against IP addresses. Sure, some NATed networks containing more than one legitimate user may be hit (though that could pretty easily be circumvented with a timing mechanism that checks buries on one article against IP addresses and doesn't allow more than one bury (or dig) in a certain amount of time).
It seems to me that this would solve a lot (but not all) of the problem, and in any event its a very good place to start. - mike17032, on 04/17/2008, -2/+7And Obammabots wonder why this stuff gets buried.
- yogurtslinger, on 04/17/2008, -8/+8This is one video that I would be happy to digg multiple submissions to keep it alive until Hitlary has it removed from youtube.
- veronique13, on 04/17/2008, -16/+7great piece of work!
- sharpfork, on 04/17/2008, -9/+44I like Hillary playing the southern drawl Arkansas character better than the New York, Rambo in Bosnia Hillary. Still, I think they are both ass hats.
- hopesfall, on 04/17/2008, -0/+0Do you repeat that in all Hillary Clinton threads?
- Vileputrid, on 04/17/2008, -33/+18Sure it has nothing to do with it being malicious propaganda at all. It's a conspiracy man!
- pintomp3, on 04/17/2008, -0/+23malicious propaganda? it's video of her, with her own words.
- cphelps, on 04/17/2008, -0/+1Right on.
- Djchicken, on 04/17/2008, -4/+1Taken entirely out of context. Now, I still think Hillary is a hypocrite, but don't trust a bunch of video clips that someone pasted in order and assume that it's the truth.
- pojut, on 04/17/2008, -0/+4Taken out of context? The woman says she was always against NAFTA, and then there is a short video clip of her talking about how NAFTA is fantastic.
I don't think there is any context other than the few seconds shown. Unless she actually said "NAFTA is fantastic, but I don't support it", there IS no context. She said she thinks it's horrible and never supported it...and yet here is a video of her very clearly saying that she thinks it's a good idea.
I'm all for positive campaigning that doesn't involve taking pot shots at candidates, and I'm not saying Obama or anyone else has never screwed up...but sometimes things are just plain straightforward. When you say you never support something, yet there is video with audio of you saying that you support it...well...you don't have to have a mathmatics degree to do simple addition.
- pojut, on 04/17/2008, -0/+4Taken out of context? The woman says she was always against NAFTA, and then there is a short video clip of her talking about how NAFTA is fantastic.

- Oktoeatfish, on 04/17/2008, -8/+146I'm suprised there is that many Hillary supporters on Digg...
- evil-doer, on 04/17/2008, -6/+16the "israel firsters" hate obama. and theres plenty of them on digg.

- MUFDVR3669, on 04/17/2008, -3/+1I'm actually undecided between Obama and HIlary. Digg doesn't help form an opinion because it's too biased. Plus there are too many stupid attack ads against Hilary. If Obama is so special then why attack Hilary, why not tell the good points about Obama??? Are there not enough.
- pojut, on 04/17/2008, -0/+2My opinion is that he (just like her) has attack ads because if your opponent in politics calls you out, or says some ***** about you, and you don't respond...the unwashed masses (more specifically, the authoritarian 20 percenters) take the view that you are weak and unable to defend yourself.
If you can't defend yourself against your political opponent, how can you defend yourself and your country against "the evil people" in the world. I'm not saying it's right, I'm just saying that's the way it is.

- freff, on 04/17/2008, -0/+1You might want to look in the same place that Hillary stashed her integrity and her moral compass.
It's probably somewhere near her misplaced trust in Mark Penn.

- FATEorFORTUNE, on 04/17/2008, -19/+85WOW...this takes the cake for ***** on digg. An article about another article being buried. Imagine if there was a story about every time obama supporters buried something they didn't like.

- morninglorii, on 04/17/2008, -0/+2I agree. I'm a steadfast Obama supporter, but I do wish I got to see articles from both sides on here. It's tough; Digg is basically my primary news source, and every day I read it and feel like there are no Hillary supporters left in the world. Then I get a slap in the face when I read CNN articles about the dead heat between the two.
- thebaron2, on 04/17/2008, -0/+3Digg is a microcosm and not representative of the general public. It's easy to get caught up in the groupthink that goes on here, but you have to step back every now and then and realize that digg is comprised of a generally young, technically savvy community. However, that community is a distinct MINORITY relative to the general public.
- morninglorii, on 04/18/2008, -0/+2Definitely, and that's why I wish it could be changed somewhat. It's hard to constantly remind myself of that every time I read a story on here.

- ExitMoose, on 04/17/2008, -1/+22I digged the video in question, but I have to say I'm not a fan of meta-diggs. As it is, this blog post adds nothing to the discussion, and is just front-page clutter.

- JavertHolmes, on 04/17/2008, -13/+102I buried this story in hopes that another story will come out explaining how the story analyzing a previously-buried story was also buried. My hope is to create recursion levels so deep that no one can ever escape them.
Of course, if you bury my comment yet digg this story up, you have either created a paradox or revealed yourself to be a hypocrite. So whether it's deep recursion, a paradox, or hypocrisy exposed via vote counts, my post can not lose.- mozert, on 04/17/2008, -3/+2Here the truth finally comes out, you are just on DIGG for pure sabotage.

- clickmyface, on 04/17/2008, -28/+54GUESS WHAT, I BURIED IT!
This has become out of control. I'm a democrat and i'm sick of this divisive *****.
This election should have been about 8 years of republican control that have taken this country to places it may not be able to recover from. I've been on Digg for years and i'm wondering where the hell all of you were a year ago when the Bush admin. was committing far greater and more damaging sins than whatever you have Clinton saying on tape today.
If you want to believe you've found the anti-christ, then please, reflect on the last 7 years. Clinton is not it.- superkendall, on 04/17/2008, -3/+13WHat I find ironic about your comments here is that anyone who has supported a Republican, ever (even if supporting politicians from both parties) faces the same treatment.
If you don't want people to be so divisive, you might start by healing thyself and not demonize Republicans and Bush so much, He's done things wrong and he's done things right, and the sooner you are willing to admit that the better off you will be.
I am willing to vote for whichever candidates come through the nomination process, partly through the positions they offer and party through watching the eventual nominees speak in open debate. Can you say you are so open minded as to give either a shot?- banmaster, on 04/17/2008, -4/+4What THE ***** has Bush done right???

- Search153, on 04/17/2008, -1/+15"I'm a democrat and I'm sick of this divisive *****"
You know what's so deliciously ironic about that statement? Your country has a 2 party system, which is by its very design, divisive! The powers that be have been playing divide and conquer with the electorate for years, and you whine about a video that exposes Hillary's attempt at intra-party divisiveness? You should be used to it by now!- Locke23, on 04/17/2008, -0/+2Couldn't have said it better myself. Right on.
- juanchopancho, on 04/17/2008, -5/+14I'm an independtent and I'm sick of the Billary *****. Just look at the facts and her voting record in the Senate especially when it comes to foreign policy issues. She's as corrupt as the republican wingnuts.

- rebotfc, on 04/17/2008, -1/+2If you are sick of the division get Hillary to stand down and unite behind one candidate.
- Gabberwok, on 04/17/2008, -0/+3Hillary is at this point clearly not going to win the nomination, and if she did she would certainly not win the general election. So if you want an end to division, do your best to get her to drop out now.
- Drax0n, on 04/17/2008, -1/+2Shes not as bad as Bush, but she is certainly a lot closer to Bush than McCain (republican but at least tells the truth most often). Think about how often she;;s been caught lying? Think about her support for an Iran war? The last thing the world needs is another lying americian presidant who wants yet another war in the middle east.
- morninglorii, on 04/17/2008, -1/+1I think the difference is, we felt fairly helpless about the Bush situation, because we all agreed on it but nothing was going to change unless there was some sort of impeachment (which, again, we all wanted, but had no chance of causing).
Now, we are in a situation where there is a real possibility of two different options (instead of , and we find ourselves in somewhat of a position of power (I believe Digg and its cousins definitely caused the sniper fire issue to receive more coverage than it would've otherwise), so we'd like to take advantage of it as much as we can. - maaddmax, on 04/17/2008, -0/+2I enjoyed your comment as a Republican. It makes me want to yell, HA HA.
- superkendall, on 04/17/2008, -3/+13WHat I find ironic about your comments here is that anyone who has supported a Republican, ever (even if supporting politicians from both parties) faces the same treatment.
- meese, on 04/17/2008, -5/+12This isn't really a diggable story, but it's probably also worth pointing out for those pro-Clinton folks complaining - JedReport was actually originally a pro-Edwards outfit, not pro-Obama, and not really anti-Clinton.
So the content of this video that's getting buried is really Clinton's own doing - it's all her own words. - dvorachek, on 04/17/2008, -11/+23Propaganda shouldn't be on the front page.
- MyDiggIsBig, on 04/17/2008, -1/+4no. it shouldn't. thats why digg has become full of ***** the last year with the obama lovefest. you're ***** comments and stories won't change anyone's mind. You will just be getting the supporters together and outnumbering the opponant. The oppnant merely doesn't speak up because there is no point in aruguing. That doesn't mean there is no opponant. Nobody cares about your political love or hatred or Obama or Clinton. go out and vote and shut the hell up.
- Zadernet, on 04/17/2008, -20/+9John McCain will be a good president. For sure.

Who are we fighting in Iraq? I know it isn't the Iraqi government.
What happens if they win?- DavidGX, on 04/17/2008, -1/+1It's not Al Qaeda either. And "they" are winning as long as we remain in Iraq.
- pasta2000, on 04/17/2008, -1/+1Still waiting on the who it is. Until you can come up with who, Al Qaeda is the only answer that fits.
- DavidGX, on 04/17/2008, -1/+1Keep waiting.
- pasta2000, on 04/18/2008, -0/+1Thanks for proving my point. We are fighting Al Qaeda in Iraq.
With that said, I want the front line of that war over there instead of here like it was on 9-11.
If we retreat like obama wants to do, we lose.
Al Qaeda will grow strong like it did under Clinton and it won't be long until we are attacked on our own soil again.

- xerigen, on 04/17/2008, -5/+40Oh PLEASE. Just like Ron Paul articles, people got tired of them and dugg them down no matter how worthy the content. I saw lots of Ron Paul articles have 500 or 1000 diggs and be buried from the front page. When the same reports are redugg from a different website, it's going to get dugg down. Deal with it and enjoy the fact that at any given time there will be at least 3 pro-obama/anti-hillary articles on the front page. If you think it's a conspiracy against Obama here you are out of your mind.
- JordanAustin, on 04/17/2008, -7/+11

- PaulRay, on 04/17/2008, -1/+1However, that does NOT make it OK. Not being as bad as terrible is still bad. We Americans are in this mess for thinking "It's not as bad as..."
- Gabberwok, on 04/17/2008, -1/+1Really the main problem is that she is unconvincing even when she's telling the truth. She would get torn apart in a general election campaign - tested my ass.
- chall2001, on 04/17/2008, -9/+16Geez, maybe this article got buried under the other 10,000 Obama articles that were already on the front page. Keep it up Obama mob -- you're slowly turning into the Manson family.

- PaulRay, on 04/17/2008, -5/+5It seems cult-like because people are impassioned and want to see something done right that it's all they can think about.
This is not a cult, it's a revolution. People actually CARE. That's something our country hasn't seen in a long time.
The United States was built on this type of passion. - Gabberwok, on 04/17/2008, -2/+1Jaded Ron Paul supporter I presume?

- Zuwxiv, on 04/17/2008, -12/+7It sure is a good thing that nobody here diggs and supports just because of a political candidate.
Oh wait. Ron Paul and Obama. You're just a bunch of hypocrites who are fine with throwing your own ideas everywhere, and you'll bury any pro-Hillary story. But God forbid there should be a good story that you don't agree with.
... Just a guess, but this comment should get me buried to hell. Aw well.- gregoryan, on 04/17/2008, -0/+3there's a difference when it's a task-force that targets anti-hillary stories, to censor it from the minions.
- DucoNihilum, on 04/17/2008, -7/+21This is annoying. The only time I see political posts on digg that aren't pro obama it's anti hillary.
- HappyScrappy, on 04/17/2008, -1/+17I'm pro-Obama, and I buried it too. It's simply not "devastating" as billed. And it's also a rehash of the same stuff we've all already seen. It's just not interesting (and yes, I watched the whole thing).
Additionally, it's on the front page right now.
So stop plugging your own damn video and let the "mob rules" process on Digg run its course. - p0s3r, on 04/17/2008, -10/+10Aren't the Obamabots in the debate threads bitching about how the moderators didn't talk about "real issues"? The hypocrisy of those same jerk-holes that put this tabloid trash on the front-page not once, but twice at the same time.
- pojut, on 04/17/2008, -1/+1To be fair, the whole NAFTA thing was included in the video...since Hillary is running with the economy being a major part of her campaign...and considering she used NAFTA both as a campagin topic in multiple states AND grilled her opponent about it... I would say it's relevant.

- jkmerr, on 04/17/2008, -1/+11Isn't this kind of just democracy in action, digg-style? I know we're in the digg echo-chamber here, and anybody who doesn't support either Barack Obama or Ron Paul is an infidel and an unbeliever, but what's wrong with pro-Clinton diggers burying a story they don't like/don't agree with? Isn't that the idea of the whole community moderation thing? You digg things that you like and bury things that you don't?
- Soave, on 04/17/2008, -1/+9The whole point of Digg is that the community decides on which stories will be shown (and which ones won't). Next headline: Pro-Obama Diggers Try to Digg Pro-Obama article.
- WraTH017, on 04/17/2008, -0/+1Yes, that is "the point of Digg", but "the community" can't decide which stories will be shown if SOME members of the community are actively surpressing content that "the community" has not yet been able to see. Having a group with any given agenda filter out what's the digg community gets to see, is NOT the point of Digg, no matter who or what they support.
- Soave, on 04/17/2008, -0/+1Some people want to see nothing but Paris Hilton stories, but (thankfully) there are enough people that don't want to, so it stays off the front page. Just like this.
- WraTH017, on 04/17/2008, -0/+1Yes, that is "the point of Digg", but "the community" can't decide which stories will be shown if SOME members of the community are actively surpressing content that "the community" has not yet been able to see. - offthewagon, on 04/17/2008, -2/+8I didn't bury it, and I'm not a clinton supporter, but I'm just sick of seeing the negative Hilary posts. Most of them are really silly, like "adam sandler isn't voting for clinton."
- sandbags, on 04/17/2008, -5/+4im not even american, so its no big deal to me in the end but has anyone noticed the two different styles of politiking that are on display here?
Obama's campaign seems to be about him. Who he is. What he can do for the country. He wants you to get to know him. He hasn't played the race card, he doesn't get involved in mud-slinging, he often talks about the economy and what he will do to fix it. He seems intelligent and capable of giving you a straight answer and not just rhetoric.
The hillary campaign on the other hand seems to be all about distraction. I only ever hear her saying things about Obama. Thats all she ever seems to talk about. A negative campaign to discredit him. Which has failed to do the kind of damage she would like.
I don't know about you, but I know who I would be voting for, just based on the way the candidates represent themselves.- joe122370, on 04/17/2008, -0/+3he plays the race card every chance he gets. What are you talking about?

- joe122370, on 04/17/2008, -0/+3he plays the race card every chance he gets. What are you talking about?
- poopdigger, on 04/17/2008, -2/+15THere is a ridiculous bias here. Any articles attacking Obama, or supporting nearly any other candidates are buried out of sight before most diggers see anything. The majority has total control on digg, there is only free speech when you support the same things as every other digger.
- DocOctavius, on 04/17/2008, -5/+0It's not bias if it's based on facts. Hillary is a proven liar, who has resorted to Karl Rove tactics because she thinks she deserves to be President for some reason- in contrast, Obama has been honest and forthright, defending himself by telling the blunt truth, instead of the easy spin he could have done. I was going to vote for Clinton, but Obama is far better in my opinion, based on HUMAN VALUES- honesty, integrity, and progressive thinking.
The negative articles about Obama still get read, but they always fall apart because they are based on *****! So he was friends with a guy who turned out to be a crook, he went to a church that ended up having a radical pastor, and he didn't wear a little ***** pin on his jacket- NONE OF WHICH makes him a bad choice for Prez- he's been honest about each issue when asked about them, and there's been NO proof of any wrongdoing or Anti-American (whatever that means) decisions or actions made by Obama EVER, so there goes your "bias" theory. Intelligent honest people see through the ***** and will vote for Obama. All others are delusional and misinformed. Word.- hillaryforum, on 04/17/2008, -0/+4You are clearly lying to yourself. Or are completely ignorant. One of the two options.

- BananaGrabber, on 04/17/2008, -3/+14There's no such thing as Hillary supporters on digg.
