- Cfahooligan, on 05/11/2008, -1/+18That would be a big fat Negative, 10-4.
- thirdcoastborn, on 05/11/2008, -1/+22hell no
- BishkekBuddy, on 05/11/2008, -1/+17I love it - when I voted, it was 95% NO!! :-)
- kdawg1012, on 05/12/2008, -1/+3And after 230 votes, it's still 95% NO ...
- JoanDark, on 05/11/2008, -2/+12I tried to add a comment, but it was beyond me and THEN someone started to BABBLE--five, five something something.I ran away.
Here is my comment-anyone in the know is welcome to post it for me!
As deceitful and visious as she has been throughout the campaign? As selfish and single-minded?As overambitious and mean?Barack would do better to chose a pit viper.Or a Pit Bull (who are very loving and loyal to their masters.)
I think clinton would make a lousy veep for ANYONE.But especially Barack--they are completely dissimilar.
She'd annillate Iran while Barack was at global warming conferences. And shudder to think what she'd do to Barack, to , finally, gain the Presidency.
NO WAYYY, Jose!.Not gonna happen. - preneel, on 05/11/2008, -1/+13NOT!
- silverkitty, on 05/11/2008, -1/+12I'd bet the barn that this idea was a kind of ploy from the Clinton side to the Obama campaign - a kind of blackmail -- if she even hinted she'd accept it or welcome an offer, then he'd be seen as inauthentic about respecting her if he didn't offer it to her. We owe Sen Kennedy thanks for putting a brick on the other pan of the scale! It's now rather moot -- she'll have to put her Presidential ambitions ahead 4 years -- so wait for it -- we'll soon have so-called "polls" (which are just little thingies to attract all of us to click on links so website owners can get more hits), about whether she should run in 2012! I'll give that oh, maybe another 2-3 weeks after they've run out of things to talk about again on the BigMacMedia.
- tcbishop12, on 05/12/2008, -1/+3Excellent comment.
- rharrie, on 05/11/2008, -1/+11More like a nightmare.
- redcolumbine, on 05/12/2008, -1/+11It's a little scary to think of how recently I thought it was a good idea. I'm actually perversely grateful to Senator Clinton for flying her colors so high.
- bluevillage, on 05/12/2008, -1/+3Agree 100%. And I think that's what might tip the superdelegates too, if Kennedy's reaction is any indication.
- Midoc, on 05/12/2008, -2/+7He needs an old white dude, someone like Biden.
- aussiejan, on 05/12/2008, -1/+3I agree. I'd like to think Sebelius would be a good choice or Bill Richardson but to appease "Middle America", I think it will have to be a white male, older than Obama and from the south or the rust belt.
- ichbeineinrcg, on 05/12/2008, -1/+7I'm pulling for Jim Webb. He's better on the military than McCain is.
- tcbishop12, on 05/12/2008, -0/+5Good one Kevin. That's a big no from here as well.
- mannyqui, on 05/12/2008, -0/+9My first name is Jose.... and I'm glad there's no way....
- Krisgi, on 05/12/2008, -2/+8***** NO! Richardson for Veep.
- Gemfinder, on 05/14/2008, -0/+1[High-fiving Krisgi]
Wearing my reworked "Bill Richardson for VICE PRESIDENT" button as we speak :)
- Gemfinder, on 05/14/2008, -0/+1[High-fiving Krisgi]
- oceanrain, on 05/12/2008, -1/+6The idea that she should be his VP because she stuck it out for so long on the campaign is ludicrous. He knocked her out of the race, let her go home and lick her wounds.
- suzywang3000, on 05/12/2008, -0/+4Obama doesn't need a running mate. A running mate would just slow this titan down. Obama 08!!
- korvan504521, on 05/12/2008, -0/+8Only if he wants to die mysteriously as soon as he wins the election.
- bitfreak, on 05/12/2008, -0/+5I have no doubt she'd make sure he had an appearance where there are real snipers.
- ZandorMonkeyBoy, on 05/12/2008, -4/+3You heard it here first.
Barbara Boxer for Veep. - NATED066, on 05/12/2008, -0/+4Shia Labeouf says: NoNoNoNo No No!
- jlee2081, on 05/12/2008, -0/+4HELL NO
- Pimpalicious316, on 05/12/2008, -0/+2Obama/Rambo '08
- Gemfinder, on 05/14/2008, -0/+18| ...........
I don't know whether to Digg that down in horror, or Digg it up for the near-palindrome...
- Gemfinder, on 05/14/2008, -0/+18| ...........
- oldgal, on 05/15/2008, -1/+1Although Bill would make an interesting 1st vice lady. I generally have an active imagination, but I cannot imagine Billary as Vice President.
