- SilverStandard, on 04/19/2008, -2/+6Too bad he voted for a UN global tax and gun control. Facts are facts. Time to get Dugg down :)
- Fakatai, on 04/19/2008, -3/+3Those are just two facts. Other facts are that Obama was against the war in Iraq from start, and has shown more respect for the Constitution than his opinions. But I can well understand why you wouldn't want to talk about that, and would Digg a story like this down. I just just Dugg it up.
- SilverStandard, on 04/19/2008, -2/+4Against the war from the start and still voted for funding it. Shown more respect for the Constitution? Look at his actions, not his words.
- Fakatai, on 04/19/2008, -3/+1I do, and they're still a lot better than McCain's, and better than Clinton's.

- Jio666, on 04/19/2008, -2/+3What's wrong with gun control (though i do live in the UK so maybe that's why it doesn't seem so strange to me).
Isn't Clinton for gun control?- doogies, on 04/19/2008, -0/+3Nothing wrong with gun control, as long as it respects our Second Amendment to the Constitution.
- carpespasm, on 04/19/2008, -1/+2Indeed. there's a practical line that everyone agrees exists. I'd say it's at a pretty decent place, though there's room for improvement. You wouldn't want some random guy running around town towing a trailer-mounted howitzer and an RPG on his gunrack, even though I admit in a revolution it would be useful. I'd say small automatic weapons under proper permitting should be allowed though. The second amendment must be respected and upheld, but putting too much destructive power into the hands of individuals gets pretty dangerous even when you're wanting to make sure people have the ability to fight an oppressive government.
- p0s3r, on 04/19/2008, -0/+1Look at the crime rate in London. Thats what's wrong with Gun Control
- Jio666, on 04/20/2008, -0/+1London has a murder rate of 2.1 per 100000 people; the safest city in America (according to this source) is New York with a rate of 6.1 per 100000 people.

- Stevanoski, on 04/19/2008, -3/+4Yes, Obama will have some unique ideas on how to handle problems from his adviser Ayres, the infamous bomber who killed one of his own devotees.
- PaulLev, on 04/19/2008, -4/+1Ayres is Obama's adviser? I don't think so ... get your facts straight.
- Stevanoski, on 04/19/2008, -1/+3"...So we have at least a political friendship that began in 1995, and they became professional colleagues in 1999.
More details will certainly emerge if the MSM decides that the Democratic front-runner's association with a terrorist matters to voters.
And that is how the issue should be framed. William Ayers was a terrorist, and as of a few years ago, --if we believe the New York Times-- an unrepentant terrorist.
Does it matter? On Wednesday night, Obama made the case that it didn't in this exchange with George Stephanopoulos..."

- DaDrake, on 04/19/2008, -3/+2Unlike our current President, Obama didn't support the patriot act which is a huge intrusion on privacy rights!
oh wait... what was that? He did.....- PaulLev, on 04/19/2008, -3/+3And you see no significant differences between Obama and Bush? Sad, or blind...
