- Anonchrist, on 10/10/2008, -0/+3Take a good hard look at the Republican base and ask yourself; "Is it safe to want some of the people in my audience angrier?" I realize that most of the republican party consist of everyday people, but it also consists of radical groups for religious government, radical groups against abortion, already hateful racists, people with PTS that now think Obama is a terrorist...
McCain already won the votes of the people in his crowd, but if he drives just ONE of them to the unthinkable or is even perceived to have done so then he COMPLETELY LOSES the election.
Imagine that some psycho had a bad day at work and attended a McCain rally the week before. Then, he goes nuts and kills someone that just happens to be an Obama supporter and comments that the victim supporter a communist terrorist anyway... Does anyone think the media will forgive McCain? In the remaining weeks no one would even have the time to disprove the claim because the investigation would still be taking place.- lajaw, on 10/10/2008, -1/+1It's the Democrats who are threatening violent protests if "that one" doesn't win.
