- siszam, on 11/11/2008, -2/+31Palin is a deluded narcissist. She needs help.
- tcbishop12, on 11/11/2008, -0/+20God sometimes gets a little blunt.
- StaticThunder, on 11/11/2008, -3/+7God sometimes smokes a blunt.
- tcbishop12, on 11/11/2008, -0/+11I'm all for plain speaking.
You'd tend to speak a little more directly and firmly, too, if you found out that hour upon hour of hate-filled, rabble-rousing, homophobic, racist bigotry, much of it featuring and funded by right-wing American evangelists ... all of it diametrically opposed to your very being -- was being perpetrated in your name.

You'd tend to speak a little more directly and firmly, too, if you found out that hour upon hour of hate-filled, rabble-rousing, homophobic, racist fear-mongering bigotry, much of it featuring and funded by pea-brained right-wing American evangelists ... and all of it diametrically opposed to your very being -- was being perpetrated in your name. - b3and1p, on 11/11/2008, -13/+4She just means she is going to do her best but it is not up to her. Sometimes you guys can be too literal.
- cquinnd, on 11/11/2008, -0/+4She may mean that, but everyone here knows someone or knows of someone who cannot seem capable of trying to do their best unless they believe there is a sign from above giving them permission to do so.
- Gemfinder, on 11/11/2008, -0/+3That's assuming a mainstream Christian mindset, aka a little on the humble side, "If God wills it." But we're talking about a fundamentalist loonie-cake from an avowedly heretical sect who wants everyone in the world to subscribe to her religious beliefs and convictions, or failing that, die, violently.
Bottom line: She has a special-needs child. She chose, on her own, to have that child, in full knowledge of what it means. Throughout the campaign, that child was treated like a prop for photo ops, not like her special-needs son. I think God showed her her path forward already, and the White House has nothing to do with it.

- Echota, on 01/05/2009, -1/+16Lord please just make it go away.
- jimchap, on 11/11/2008, -2/+12she's retarted. Spelling is correct.
- SheilaNoya, on 11/11/2008, -1/+20She'll be interpreting everything that happens now as some sort of mystical "sign from God".
I'd love to be in Alaska right now just to screw with her head.- Gemfinder, on 11/11/2008, -0/+2Except the birth of her special-needs son.
Helloooooo?! God to Sarah Palin! Take care of your kids and grandkid!
- Gemfinder, on 11/11/2008, -0/+2Except the birth of her special-needs son.
- MediaWeasel, on 11/11/2008, -0/+18The sad thing is that if she believes God was going to get her to the White House, here's a newsflash just in. He didn't.
He heard her at the Republican Convention and said pffffffttt not flippin' likely with the vitriol you're peddling, sister.- MJG2007, on 11/11/2008, -0/+5Yeah, she must have missed that whole "bearing false witness" bit. But it's not considered one of the big important rules or anything.
- thepoliticalcat, on 11/11/2008, -0/+17I would imagine god has already made a fairly decisive statement on the subject. I swear, that woman is as thick as two short bricks.
- binky79, on 11/11/2008, -0/+16If she is struck by lightening, i will switch from Agnostic to Christian. If she wins I'll consider Atheism.
- peheimbach, on 11/11/2008, -0/+11Can we pull the Monty Python players (or maybe Morgan Freeman) out of retirement to fake the voice of G-d, then have the voice lead her over a cliff? Or maybe into one of those poor villages on the Alaskan coast that's being washed into the sea by global warming? Or some other creative place?
- Gemfinder, on 11/11/2008, -0/+3Lemming with lipstick and a crucifix around her neck?
- Berkana, on 11/11/2008, -0/+13I want God to show her what the present President-Elect represents—that neoconservatism and the extremes of social conservatism have failed us over the past 8 years, and that the American people have resoundingly rejected these for the next 4 years—'cause obviously she still can't see this fact.
- AlaskaLoneWolf, on 11/11/2008, -0/+11You don't need God honey, just a computer with Google: Maps. Type in Washington D.C., and stay with the tour guide like everyone else.
- MJG2007, on 11/11/2008, -0/+11God apparently wants Democrats. Your party prayed for rain during Obama's speech in Colorado and instead got a hurricane during your own (he that soweth the wind....) and you prayed for victory on election night and God granted it....to the Democrats.
- chosenson, on 11/11/2008, -0/+11Instead, God showed her the way back to Alaska. She should listen . . .
- imaginos91, on 11/11/2008, -0/+4Amen chosenson.
- magus_melchior, on 11/11/2008, -0/+6Perhaps she should take the long way around, and by foot. She can start by swimming across the Bering Strait.
- imaginos91, on 11/11/2008, -0/+11If GOD wanted her in the white house, she would be there. After seeing all the ridicule, laughter, accusations and what of the past many months that GOD has visited upon her, I would think she would be devoting her time to being a better person and getting back on GOD's good side.
- 7Mystery, on 11/11/2008, -0/+7If god wanted her in the white house, he would of made her more intelligent
- livefree12, on 11/11/2008, -0/+8God will how her the way to the White House. It's through the guided tours.
- AriaStar, on 11/11/2008, -0/+7Hey, Sarah, if you want to know the way to the White House, get out a ***** map, or, easier yet, Google-Map it.
And while you're at it, go study the bible. The way to the White House politically is more votes, and your god gave people free will. To make it so you could win would require your god taking away his gift and making people vote a certain way.- SparklingWiggle, on 11/11/2008, -0/+1"and your god gave people free will."
Now that's funny.
- SparklingWiggle, on 11/11/2008, -0/+1"and your god gave people free will."
- doremon313, on 11/12/2008, -0/+6Flying Spaghetti Monster wants me to tell you to stay in Alaska where you belong.
- toptopics, on 11/12/2008, -0/+3after 4 years of Obama.. it's going to be Obama all the way. So forget it palin..
- toptopics, on 11/12/2008, -0/+4if she runs for president next time it's going to be a landslide victory for the Democrats..
- biblebelter, on 11/13/2008, -0/+2Why does God never instruct her to take some personal responsibility and actually RAISE those kids she keeps popping out?
- MsLaurel, on 11/16/2008, -0/+2Someone ought to show Palin the door; you betcha!
