http://www.crosscut.com/politics-government/17341/ - DD2CC2U, on 09/03/2008, -0/+2...just two weeks ago, when Palin’s church, the Wasilla Bible Church, gave its pulpit over to a figure viewed with deep hostility by many Jewish organizations: David Brickner, the founder of Jews for Jesus.
Palin’s pastor, Larry Kroon, introduced Brickner on Aug. 17, according to a transcript of the sermon on the church’s website.
“He’s a leader of Jews for Jesus, a ministry that is out on the leading edge in a pressing, demanding area of witnessing and evangelism,” Kroon said.
Brickner’s mission has drawn wide criticism from the organized Jewish community, and the Anti-Defamation League accused them in a report of “targeting Jews for conversion with subterfuge and deception.” - FlaG8r, on 09/03/2008, -0/+1The bar is set so low for Palin she'll get good reviews if she doesn't wet herself on the stage.
- cheesegypsy, on 09/03/2008, -0/+2"This nonsense is over." Hmmm. I knew the Republicans were sensitive to criticism, but after McCain acted like a baby over the Tucker Bounds interview on CNN and now saying that asking questions about an unknown candidate is nonsense, I'm convinced that his maverick days are long gone. No longer tough guy, he's turning into a big whiner. Asking critical questions is never nonsense. Just as Obama should be held accountable for actions and relationships, such as the one with Rezko, so Palin and McCain should be scrutinized to the fullest extent possible. She's not running for mayor of Wasilla anymore, she's taking one of the most important jobs in the world and I want to know everything but her shoe size.
