- mindpuzzle, on 12/05/2008, -15/+2admit it she is America's hottest Governor.
- kareemachan, on 12/05/2008, -0/+6No, she's America's stoopidest governor. With a weird accent.
- thepoliticalcat, on 12/05/2008, -0/+4Hey, with $200K of clothes, makeup, and hairstyling, your mother could be the hottest whatever, yaknow?
- USArugula, on 12/06/2008, -0/+2You're either a wingnut or 15. If the latter, you'll soon learn that screwing people you can't talk to is unfulfilling.
- TheFoshizzler, on 12/05/2008, -5/+8She's old news. Buried.
- rald84, on 12/05/2008, -4/+2i'd like to bury my penis in her vagina. if you know what i mean.
- MiddleAmerica, on 12/05/2008, -3/+14Redneck elitist wanna-be!
Alaska, you can have her! - MiddleAmerica, on 12/05/2008, -3/+19Remember the Republican's fake outrage at Bill Clinton's $200 haircut? An then again at John Edwards' $400 haircut?
They need look up the definition of hypocrite, & then do some long hard thinking.- Kakumeikeahi, on 12/05/2008, -0/+6heh, I forgot all about that haircut.
Thanks for the reminder, and it's a very good point.
- Kakumeikeahi, on 12/05/2008, -0/+6heh, I forgot all about that haircut.
- NinaOdell, on 12/05/2008, -4/+19Ladies and Gentlemen, the "fiscal conservatives".
- jackieblu, on 12/05/2008, -3/+9Money well spent- not!
- macattak420, on 12/05/2008, -0/+1a not joke just made an appearance after being in hiding for many years
- HenkC, on 12/05/2008, -3/+6I didn't know the Tina Fey look was that expensive. And she is hot? Puh-lease. You must be really hard up or politicians really ugly to think that. Or maybe both. She's as hot as a New England winter. Outside.
- thenekkidtruth, on 12/05/2008, -2/+5My "canned" analysis about why Palin is good for progressives -
She's a total clown, but I'm actually pushing for Palin. And the rest of the "Oogedy-Boogedy Branch of the GOP" - stick with me on this . . .
The Republican Civil War has just begun, and it's the CorporateCons (Giuliani, Romney, Fox) vs. the Theocons (Palin, Huckabee, Prop 8). The "incumbent" CorporateCons have the money and the power at this point, and I want it to be an Ultimate Fighting Death Match, so I'm pushing for the "underdog" Theocons to make a war of it.
Both sides will fight hard. The Theocons have had it with the CorporateCons who haven't delivered a dammmm thing to them for decades, so they now want the reigns of power for themselves. They're convinced that the power and might of their wrathful God is on their side. Meanwhile, the CorporateCons, who have nothing short of disguised disdain for the Goddists, won't give up their illicit billions easily.
Sun Tzu - divide and conquer. I'd rather see the Theocons win, actually. They're perhaps easier to dismantle if they do than the Corporatists would be.- Sarea, on 12/05/2008, -0/+4And until then....the Theocons will use the CorporateCons' money to pay for things like stylists and make-up artists for the Theocons like Palin? ;)
- Delphium226, on 12/05/2008, -2/+5For all that money spent, she didn't look that good.
- toptopics, on 12/05/2008, -1/+4how would she look without make up?
- Sarea, on 12/05/2008, -0/+4She's got good bone structure. I think she would probably look pretty good without makeup.
That's kind of the point. They really didn't need to spend that much money on her appearance, but it is in their nature to spend money like that. ("Its in my nature, said the scorpion to the frog.")
That attitude about spending money is part of what got us into the current financial mess we are in... - Alheithinn, on 12/06/2008, -0/+1I wouldn't touch her with your dick.
- Sarea, on 12/05/2008, -0/+4She's got good bone structure. I think she would probably look pretty good without makeup.
- thenekkidtruth, on 12/05/2008, -1/+6Yeah, well, Republicans are beyond ridiculous, and they always have been. They'll be ridiculous with or without my endorsement . . . just as long as it isn't any of my money.
- TinababyK, on 12/05/2008, -1/+7what a waste of Money.
- kareemachan, on 12/05/2008, -1/+6I find it interesting what this says about the Republican party:
1) Don't bother with substance when it comes to a female candidate. Don't bother making sure she knows her stuff or tutor her so she does, but do spend spitloads of money putting couture and lipstick on her so she looks purty.
2) They think that their voter base is so dumb that they think it's a brilliant political move to pick a bimbo to get the women's vote and make her cute to get the vote from the guys who think with with their little brains.- SparklingWiggle, on 12/05/2008, -3/+2I find it interesting what this says about the Huffington Post:
1) Don't bother with substance when it comes to the stories they run.
2) They know that their reader base is so dumb that they actually devote a blog entry to this non-story, and the readers will eat it up and ask for more.- neognostic, on 12/06/2008, -0/+2Sparklingwiggle - King of the straw man argument.
- SparklingWiggle, on 12/05/2008, -3/+2I find it interesting what this says about the Huffington Post:
- MediaWeasel, on 12/05/2008, -1/+4Bet the Republicans are thrilled to see their donations being used in such thriftful ways.
/s - blatant3, on 12/05/2008, -1/+1Haha. 55 grand and shes still ***** ugly
- coffeebaby, on 12/05/2008, -1/+455 grand for a few weeks? what kind of degree do i need to become a stylist?
- MarciaJ720, on 12/05/2008, -1/+1If you have to spend this kind of money to make someone look good, then they didn't look good to begin with.
Sorry, but has anybody seen what Sarah looks like without any make-up on? I'm sure it is scary. - SparklingWiggle, on 12/05/2008, -1/+2Buried for the Huffington Post not being able to let something go. I hear they're going to be examining the Garfield assassinate next Monday, with an in-depth 10 part investigative piece.
- macattak420, on 12/05/2008, -1/+2The article doesnt say how her stylists were only paid $500 for her make up and $54,500 for going to her speeches.
- wonderchemist, on 12/05/2008, -0/+4Just part of the republican stimulus package.
- USArugula, on 12/06/2008, -0/+5Dugg and favorited for the next time someone mentions John Edwards' $400 haircut.
- jimchap, on 12/06/2008, -0/+1HypocritesRUs.
The same Maverick who's got her tin cup out for the most Socialistic state in the country.
