Olbermann: Only spin Clinton has left is ‘ladies first’
rawstory.com — “We decided to prepare for tomorrows potential new re-re-re-re-re-re-re-re-re-definition by compiling the guidelines offered so far, ” Keith Olbermann said on Monday’s show. “By the time we finished, it seems the only yardstick they had not yet offered was ‘Ladies First.’”

- rotten777, on 05/07/2008, -1/+4Count the delegates. She can't win. She can only push to hurt the party by staying in until the convention.
- RRJackson, on 05/07/2008, -4/+3Count the delegates, neither of them can secure the nomination by Denver. It's going to be decided by the DNC before the supers are seated.
- rotten777, on 05/07/2008, -3/+2"Secure the nomination" and "have the lead" are completely different things. I say she can't win because the DNC won't let the party sabotage itself by overturning the vote of the people and giving it to HRC when she doesn't "have the lead" in delegates. Capisca?
- RRJackson, on 05/07/2008, -3/+2The supers exist to overturn the vote of the people. If they were just there to echo the popular vote there wouldn't be any need for them.
- rotten777, on 05/07/2008, -2/+3And by doing their job by overturning Obama, they will disenfranchise the people who are supposed to vote for the Democrat in November.
- Fordi, on 05/07/2008, -1/+3The supers are there to overturn the vote of the people _in the event of the people making a percieved terrible decision_. Since a good deal of delegates and superdelegates are in support of Obama, they won't do that.
- RRJackson, on 05/07/2008, -3/+1We'll know soon enough.
- RRJackson, on 05/07/2008, -4/+3Count the delegates, neither of them can secure the nomination by Denver. It's going to be decided by the DNC before the supers are seated.
- mrsteveman1, on 05/07/2008, -3/+2CNN says 69% of the votes are in. Thats low enough to swing the other way when all of them come in.
They also have to deal with that voter ID requirement. - richmomz, on 05/07/2008, -0/+2By 1% (while Obama wins a 15 point blowout in NC). She's worse off now than she was before Penn., and there's only 200 delegates left. She would have to win almost every one of them just to break even. It's over.

Lets complain about the other states and have OBAMATARDS try to push our the 4th and 7th largest states.
Florida should be counted, and Michigan needs a re-vote with both on the ballot.

- JustinDevine, on 05/07/2008, -0/+2Actually, it does mean that because some politicians screwed up you get to throw out a bunch of PEOPLE's votes (if I capitalize it its obviously more important). As much as a weakling like you would like to worship someone because they have high melanin contents, reality will punish your ignorance.
At least they're running together and will crush McCain.
It looks like Obama's crackpot pastor and stupid wife are ruining his chances all by themselves. It looks like he'll have to take VP, now.- Satsuyath, on 05/09/2008, -0/+0Thanks for the 'weakling' bit. I'm sure that made you feel better. Now, on to the actual comment.
'45% favorable and 53% unfavorable' are the Rasmussen report numbers for Clinton (nationwide) as of 5/9/08. Among white voters making more than $75,000/year, Obama is polling more favorably than Clinton, and, among polled Democrats, Obama has 50%, Clinton 42%, and 8% undecided/not sure. Even better, Rasmussen Market states that Obama has an 89.7% chance of winning the nomination, and Slate (who are admittedly biased towards Obama) say that Clinton has a 2.3% chance to win the nomination.
Say what you like, but the numbers just aren't there for Clinton. At the very least, try to put your comment together in a somewhat organized manner so I don't have to spend five minutes just trying to figure out what you said.

- Barackalypse, on 05/07/2008, -3/+0"Not Obama" is all the spin she needs. Hillary will at least be divisive and hopefully cause Congress and the executive branch to waste their energy fighting each other for her entire term, instead of ganging up on their mutual enemy the taxpayer.
- Fordi, on 05/07/2008, -0/+3Bush has been doing that for eight years. You'd be surprised what atrocities to the average citizen Congress can sneak in underneath their infighting. Get someone in there that can soothe the infighting, so that the hidden pork and abuses can come to light, I say.
- Barackalypse, on 05/07/2008, -2/+0One party control of the executive and legislative branches has resulted in the most egregious insults to the American taxpayer, namely Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid. The Democrats should never be allowed control of both branches of government, those three programs alone account for more than half the federal budget.

read that article, and the amusing comments. KO is apparently sexist, and they despise any obama supporter, as we are all just worshiping him and are quite stupid for voting for him, yet they are constantly sucking hillary's dick (you heard me, you know it's huge). Man, I hate ignorant people, especially the stupid women who are voting for hillary because their genitals (questionable) match, and if we aren't voting for hillary it's because we are sexist. you know, because there are no legitimate reasons to dislike hillary. It's almost as bad as saying a vote for anyone other than obama is racist.- Fordi, on 05/07/2008, -0/+2Yeah. It feels like Scientology to me. The vote of any delegates who chose to endorse the runner up is worth 1 and 2/5th. The extra 2/5th of course is left over from the 3/5th compromise. So we're not just making up votes, we are putting surplus voteage from years past to good use today." -Hilldog's Wildest Dreams
