donklephant.com — When you hear McCain talk about how he has no control over swift-boat like groups, he may be right, but you ’d also do well to remember this story. The message is clear: we don’t want your kind of “help.” A new kind of politics? It’s a good sign.

  • KLBP, on 05/16/2008, -1/+1It just proves that a candidate can control these outside groups if they want to. Without changing laws, Obama may completely change the way campaigns are funded and force campaigns to be held accountable for the message "independent" groups send out on their behalf.
