Obama's Senate Record: Busy, Productive Senator

dailykos.com — Sponsoring or co-sponsoring 570 bills in the 109th and 110th Congress, with 15 bills actually becoming LAW - quite a feat , he's also introduced amendments to 50 bills, 16 of which were adopted by the Senate. This combined with the 800+ bills passed in the State Legislature - Obama consistently supports and represents his consitituency.

  • roosevans, on 05/04/2008, -1/+3Being a busy legislator is just that, being a busy legislator! The fact of the matter is none of the Presidential candidates as executive experience. Neither Obama or Clinton have been "mavericks" or legislators that have "rocked the boat", neither candidate has been a radical "agent of change". Obama, despite his rhetoric is "politics as usual", in my opinion.
