Obama's Senate Record: Busy, Productive Senator
dailykos.com — Sponsoring or co-sponsoring 570 bills in the 109th and 110th Congress, with 15 bills actually becoming LAW - quite a feat , he's also introduced amendments to 50 bills, 16 of which were adopted by the Senate. This combined with the 800+ bills passed in the State Legislature - Obama consistently supports and represents his consitituency.

Neither Obama or Clinton have been "mavericks" or legislators that have "rocked the boat", neither candidate has been a radical "agent of change". Obama, despite his rhetoric is "politics as usual", in my opinion.
