I am feeling "really" proud to be American again, I am a Vietnam Era Veteran. It is not about Republican or Democrats, it is about us "we the people" and with Bush/Cheney I was feeling kind of shameful about our Country. But I have faith in Americans and we are coming together, old, young, the haves, the have nots, Catholics, Baptist, Protestant, all races creeds and colors. Americans are awake!!

  • VCubed, on 06/29/2008, -0/+10We did a Unity BBQ for Obama today in a city called Fremont in the Bay Area, over 100 new volunteers signed up! It was the biggest Unity event in Northern CA. As usual, it was all ages, races, creeds, over half were women. Nothing is quenching the fire - not the media, not the Republicans. We'll have so many teams going to Nevada it will make McCain quake!
  • life38, on 06/29/2008, -0/+4The generation under 35 has the least amount of prejudices then any age group and they are the largest segment of society. They are coming into their own awareness of voting. The other aspect is that college age voters are voting in numbers never seen before. Thus pushy the envelope even more quickly for change. Polls across the country are showing that regardless of what faith, political tilt or race there are a few clear common threads. Access to Economic prosperity, access to the American dream, and the basic rule of live free or die mentality.
