Obama's 'Bitter' Words about Workers: No Big Deal!
paullevinson.blogspot.com — Although Hillary and McCain and the media have jumped on Obama's words about 'bitter' hard-pressed workers turning to religion and guns, that's exactly what human frustrations understandably can lead to ... and the statement is no big deal ... - cullend, on 04/14/2008, -0/+1Seriously though, what IS wrong with what he said? I agree with this post, especially the part on religion.
- jforgizmo, on 04/14/2008, -0/+1Obama would do better to use the pronoun "we" instead of "they" whenever he is explaining something controversial, even if it is supposedly in a private function like the one Huffington published unfairly and Clinton thinks she can twist against Obama. Read the comments again, substituting "we" for "they" and you can see how ridiculous Hillary is (but frightening with her pre-printed "I'm not bitter" stickers she's handing out to people!).
What really gets me most is that Hillary and Gonzales should be the same; he's a torturer, not a sincere public servant, and he can't get a job now - hope the same happens to Hillary. I was so hopeful for her candidacy until she became as sleazy a torturer as anyone in the Bush admin; to wit: McCain would be better, I'm more electable, Obama is colluding with the Canadians against Americans, I've got the experience (like Bosnia?) for 3AM, and now that she thinks she's more in touch with the average American - wow. - jbryantny, on 04/22/2008, -0/+0I honestly do not feel that his comments were such a big deal...Honestly, we have much more to worry about...other candidates have said worse comments and you do not even hear about it...
