Obama plan to Fight Foreclosures & hold Homeownership Summit
obama.senate.gov — Essentially same idea that Hillary is touting today. Only Obama suggested it a YEAR ago. "U.S. Senator Barack Obama today sent a letter to Federal Reserve Chairman Bernanke and Treasury Secretary Paulson urging them to immediately convene a homeownership preservation summit with key stakeholders to fight foreclosures"

- keltin, on 03/24/2008, -8/+1It makes me wonder. As dedicated as he is to chastising the White World for their former and current bad habits of keeping people of colour down, will he use Affirmative Action in the devilish details of how to fix mortgage problems?
Maybe he'll assign every eight house that was foreclosed upon, to be purchased by the government (read 'taxpayers') and then given to a Person of Colour who had a potential problem in any of the past ten generations with slavery. This way the proper ratio of foreclosed houses could be part of the redistribution of assets his administration would be sure to want to undertake. - JosselynB, on 03/24/2008, -0/+5Keltin, Are you insane?!?!?!
