Obama on the flag pin
althouse.blogspot.com — He's trying to make us think that the flag pin gets on the lapel one day because someone happens to hand him one, so he pops it on, and then the next day, he puts on a different suit, so it's not there, so he leaves it. Like he just doesn't really think about it one way or the other. Come on! He's lying! Don't lie. Obama supporter-Althouse

- SheilaNoya, on 05/17/2008, -8/+9Obama has already stated on numerous occasions that patriotism is a much bigger thing than just pinning a piece of metal on your lapel (that was most likely made in China anyway). One shows their true patriotism by their words and actions. Therefore, he sometimes wears one, but most often not.
By the way, neither Hillary or John McCain usually wear a flag pin either, so what's your problem? Seriously - Is THIS the most important thing to you in this election? I'd be willing to bet that you're one of those people who thinks the only action you need to take to support the troops is to slap a magnetic yellow ribbon on your car.
BURIED - Since you're a big McCain supporter, maybe you should be trying to figure out how to get him some votes. Cheap attacks without any merit only makes you and your candidate look weak and desperate.- Stevanoski, on 05/17/2008, -4/+5The submission was about how a die hard supporter of his just wants him to stop lying about why he is wearing one. so AAAANNNNNNTTTT, fail, please try again tomorrow.
- thejimmyo, on 05/17/2008, -6/+6Ann Althouse is a little ridiculous and oversensitive at times. If you don't believe me, then read this post of hers:
http://althouse.blogspot.com/2008/03/why-are-lette ... - aussiejan, on 05/17/2008, -6/+7I can't believe anybody is still talking about the stupid flag pin. Don't these people know there's a war on???
- Stevanoski, on 05/17/2008, -1/+1The article is not about patriotism vs democratic values, it is about Obama lying.
- Ridgeliner7, on 05/17/2008, -6/+3I think many of us need to take a giant step back sometimes. :-(
Digging something you find odd, interesting, outrageous, funny or perverse, doesn't mean you agree with it!! Digg and other sites like it were made to present everything, to spur discussion, provoke thought. Just because I, or anyone else for that matter, "digg" a story or submit it, doesn't mean (to most of us anyway) we own it. I'm an Obama supporter and organizer, and found that whacky Professor's take rather silly-interesting.
If you support Obama, kindly read what he says. He is not about "digging down" anything to do with Clinton or McCain simply because we don't support or agree with them! This is America, not the old Soviet Russia, where all contrary points of view were censored, people driven off. The more people read what the others think and say, the more Obama becomes the obvious choice, IMO. I'm secure in believing that, SheliaNoya, are you?- Stevanoski, on 05/17/2008, -1/+1Sorry Ridgeliner, Sheila is a drive by gangster. She never comes back and answers, just sprays venom then leaves.
- MadKennyP, on 05/17/2008, -5/+5Althouse is a hack and a poor excuse for a law professor. Many of my friends took a Constitutional Law class from her. She literally read the case questions out of the casebook and had virtually no input or insight of her own. She needs to move from the liberal bastion of Madison, but she probably can't find another job.
