- victorypup, on 02/20/2008, -6/+33I haven't seen any evidence that would suggest Barrack Hussein is not a Marxist. His take from Americans and send it to Africa / fight world poverty program reeks of Marxism. His refusal to honor Americas flag and recite the pledge speaks volumes.
- Kaffir, on 02/20/2008, -2/+25Quite right. His voting record is far to the Left of anyone else! I especially agree with you, victorypup, that his refusal to salute the American flag, or say the pledge of allegiance speaks volumes! Let's see if the drive-by Liberal/Marxist media report anything negative about Obama. . . I'm not holding my breath!
- BabyWookie, on 02/20/2008, -10/+2Flags and pledges are symbols and rituals, that are only important to the symbol-minded.
- Kaffir, on 02/21/2008, -1/+7Tell that to those who fought in the American Revolution . . . it's replete with "symbols". Were they symbol-minded? I wish more present-day Americans were!
- BabyWookie, on 02/21/2008, -5/+1They didn't fight for a ***** flag. They fought because they didn't want to pay taxes to some inbred royal degenerate an ocean away.
- Kaffir, on 02/21/2008, -1/+7Tell that to those who fought in the American Revolution . . . it's replete with "symbols". Were they symbol-minded? I wish more present-day Americans were!
- alcornmj, on 02/20/2008, -2/+8Promises and speeches are smoke and mirrors, that are only important to the simple-minded
- wswyatt, on 02/20/2008, -6/+34I fear for America. We vowed that we would never let communism raise its head again--now look at who the American people have fallen for--someone with a Marxist background--and a wife who has just now become proud of America. Man--I cannot believe that the
American people are so stupid.- victorypup, on 02/20/2008, -4/+18America, in my estimation, has lost it's soul. We are a nation of people without Conscience. Those not blinded by the glare of stupidity comprise a small Remnant who have watched almost helplessly as the scales continue to tip off into oblivion.
- underdugg, on 02/20/2008, -20/+7...as opposed to the corporate neocon/neolib facists who run the country now?
- victorypup, on 02/20/2008, -3/+12Progressing in exaggerated increments. Granted, socialism to communism is a normal progression.
- goldenrule4, on 02/20/2008, -3/+12yeah, let's get rid of the evil corporations and live happily in a socialist paradise, actually you can do that today if you go to live in Cuba. You are what the commies call "a useful idiot"
- BabyWookie, on 02/20/2008, -7/+1There is a middle ground between socialism and corporatism (fascism), you know.
- sbernie, on 02/20/2008, -4/+22Either way, neocon/neolib or marxist strategist, this country is in grave danger because of the outrageous overspending of Congress and the communist agenda that has been foisted on the American public since the time of Franklin Delano Roosevelt.
Most of the digger to this article will completely miss the point. Obama is a marxist and as such is not qualified to lead this Constitutional Republic, because he wants to "change" America into a marxist utopia, which has never existed anywhere in the world.
But then, the dreams of the likes of King George 1 & 2, Bill and Hillary, and their masters has always been a socialist (marxist) one world government. Obama would press for a quicker conversion to the marxist model. - victorypup, on 02/20/2008, -4/+23Can anybody hear Nakita Kruschev's words, as he bangs his shoe on the podium?
- goldenrule4, on 02/20/2008, -0/+15yes, and he was right. "we'll take over without firing a shot"
- wethepeople1, on 02/20/2008, -4/+26I agree with the article & all who have written "diggs" above me here. But it's even WORSE as he supports infanticide ! It's on record & here's ALAN KEYES explaining www.youtube.com/watch?v = 86hPrKUDbM4
- jm7strick, on 02/20/2008, -5/+16Well said. I agree 100%. We are on a path of destruction that only God can change and for some reason, I don't think He will.
- ROaks, on 02/21/2008, -1/+7I believe II Chronicles 7:14. If my people who are called by my name.............. The body of Christ has to repent and turn away from their sins. If those who say they are Christians would do what they are suppose to do, that is take GOD at His Word, obey His commandments things would change. Without the influence of the Christian in this world it is just chaos, which is the natural order of things. Those that are not in the body of Christ are doing what is right in their own minds, Natural man's heart is evil continually. God will and can change things if He has people to use. If the Christians had stood in the gap in the 60s the atheists wouldn't have been able to remove Bible reading and prayer from our school systems. I went through the government indoctrination centers during the late 50s and the mid 60s. I can remember going to chapel for Bible studies. We had prayer, we said the Pledge every morning. In the 70s while in the Army I was assigned to the Armed Forces Entrance and Examination Station, Minneapolis , MN. I went to the government indoctrination centers to administer the entrance exam to seniors. What I seen in those places was scary. No discipline, things going on in the halls that would not have been tolerated in my day. One was a Lutheran school. I will tell you God was not in charge there and that was a "Christian school"
I don't mean to ramble or rant. im7strick, I understand what you are saying and say as you did with one change. "We are on a path of destruction that only God can change and for some reason, I don't think He will." The Change, only God can change if His people will repent .

- Christinewjc, on 02/20/2008, -5/+6Not if McCain wins!
- goldenrule4, on 02/20/2008, -2/+14mc cain is one of the reasons the republican party is in such a mess and responsible for allowing two socialists to be ready to be president of the u.s. he is a traitor and another globalist funded by soros. but then, they all are.
- Christinewjc, on 02/20/2008, -3/+8Huckabee is my first choice. Voted for him in the primary. But it looks like McCain will be the nominee unless something drastic happens. Lord? Help us???
I would say that McCain is the lesser of two evils. An Obama presidency would be absolutely disasterous!!
- Christinewjc, on 02/20/2008, -3/+8Huckabee is my first choice. Voted for him in the primary. But it looks like McCain will be the nominee unless something drastic happens. Lord? Help us???
- ROaks, on 02/21/2008, -1/+5I helped put Bush in office because he was the lesser of two evils. He has done nothing to lift this country up. He signed an anti-first amendment bill, he has done nothing to stop the murder of babies in the womb. He hasn't protected our borders, he wants to legalize illegal immigrants. No, I will no longer vote for the lesser of two evils. My state at this time does not have a Constitution Party arm, but, I am waiting for their nomination conference in April. The list of potential candidates are impressive. I will write in that nominee's name. I will not vote for McCain or Obama/Clinton.
- PappyPapillon, on 02/21/2008, -0/+1Very well said.
I, too, helped put Bush in office - twice - due to him seeming to be the lessor of two evils. But I refuse to vote for evil, in any degree, ever again. I will not cast a vote for McCain or for Clinton or for Obama.
- PappyPapillon, on 02/21/2008, -0/+1Very well said.

- Christinewjc, on 02/20/2008, -5/+6Not if McCain wins!
- Christinewjc, on 02/20/2008, -5/+13The awful news about this guy just keeps on multiplying. Perhaps it is being suppressed by the liberal leftist MSM, but it is still a longggg way until November. John McCain will have the opportunity to expose such things once the debates start. I pray that by the time the election is here, people will have their eyes opened and know all of the details being shared on the internet about Obama. They will then see what is clearly wrong about this man and the terrible direction in which he would take our country. His ding-bat wifes' comment is just the tip of the iceberg! Speaking in Milwaukee, Wis., on Monday, she said, “People in this country are ready for change and hungry for a different kind of politics and … for the first time in my adult life I am proud of my country because it feels like hope is finally making a comeback.” Well, I wish I could just say that it was a just an ordinary, ding-bat kind of "verbal gaffe" or a "misstatement." Why do I make such a judgment? Because she went to another campaign stop in another state and said it again!!! Obama delivered an amended version of the speech later that day in Madison, Wis. “For the first time in my adult lifetime, I’m really proud of my country … not just because Barack has done well, but because I think people are hungry for change,” she said. “I have been desperate to see our country moving in that direction and just not feeling so alone in my frustration and disappointment.” The woman is intelligent, articulate, educated and savvy. The statement was obviously written in her campaign notes, too!! Can't put the blame on ding-batism... What's worse is the fact that she didn't come out and address the controversy herself. She apparently left it up to someone involved in the Obama campaign. Not good. Contrast that with what one would expect a future First Lady to say about her country: “I am proud of my country,” John McCain’s wife, Cindy, said at a campaign stop in Brookfield, Wis., Tuesday. “I don’t know if you heard those words earlier … but I am very proud of my country.” WorldNetDaily has a poll up: What do you think of Michelle Obama's newfound patriotism? O I agree wholeheartedly with what she said O It's understandable coming from a black woman O It's just hyperbole, an overstatement O Michelle is articluate, but she just made a verbal gaffe O Michelle's statement is irrelevant. We're voting for president, not first lady O It reveals the leftist, 'hate America' mentality the Obamas have O The remark is appalling, and it's frightening her husband might be president O Could you imagine not feeling pride for America on Sept. 12, 2001? - victorypup, on 02/27/2008, -0/+1Yea, but what about the things exposed about McAmnesty? Like his trading for favors as a POW, His framily wealth coming from mob controled whiskey and booze distributorship, his stupid appoligy, like it's all about him. I won't vote for the moron.
- goldenrule4, on 02/20/2008, -4/+15stop the presses, obama is a socialist. and this is news?
- sonaboy, on 02/20/2008, -18/+2I love how Obama scares the ***** out of neo-con assholes all over this country. Neo-cons just keep getting dirtier, and Obama keeps playing it cool and clean. See you in November, bitches.
- MaximusDelta, on 02/20/2008, -9/+0HAHAHAHA!!
What a bunch of losers You Americans are....
Vote for the communist party!!
Although the people that are voting for osama can't access the internet because they are illiterate, smoking crack, shooting up heroine, smoking weed, sleeping until noon, on parole for rape, murder, robbery, etc. and they don't read the comments on this page.
I believe that the communist party is going to nominate osama just to get rid of the idiot Klinton, and then they will all turn their votes to the Republican that is a liberal Juan McCain into the office. - BabyWookie, on 02/20/2008, -14/+1Hah hah hah. A communist libel? Whatever, McCarthy. I guess the evil, delusional neocon pricks are getting really desperate now. The Obama Train is coming and it's going to plow right through them this November.
- RDOrlich, on 02/20/2008, -1/+11Hey Kids... Let's elect Obama just to see how much more screwed up we can get our country!!! To pay for some of his exciting Socialist programs, we can sell some stuff.... like our Constitution... since we don't use it anymore... Maybe Cuba will give us a few bucks and a couple of cigars for it. Perhaps that might be enough to finally get the lazy ass conservatives off their butts and pick up the torches and pitchforks and lay waste to the politicians, NEA, lawyers, judges and educators on tenure. The Civil War of 2010... coming to neighborhood near you.
- victorypup, on 02/27/2008, -3/+1To sell our Constitution we would have to retreive it from the outhouse at a Texas Ranch with no cows.
- alcornmj, on 02/20/2008, -3/+11I second the determination of neocons as evil, delusional pricks. Problem is, socialist liberals aren't much better.
Both want to take my money, both want to restrict my freedoms and trample my rights, both ignore the Constitution, both center around a core of corrupt politicians interested only in personal gain and power, both devalue my dollar, both want me to believe that THEY know what's best for me.
Unhappy about Bush and his expensive, undeclared war? His end-run around the Constitution? Why let's just go to the opposite extreme and elect a feel-good president who promises to take care of me for, oh, $845 billion. I already work just over a third of the year to pay taxes, shall we make it half the year? Better yet, let's just work 100% of the time for the government. It'll provide medical care and education and housing and everything we need.
"The American people will never knowingly adopt socialism, but under the name of liberalism they will adopt every fragment of the socialist program until one day America will be a socialist nation without ever knowing how it happened." – Norman Thomas, American socialist
Oboma, McCain, it doesn't really matter; the core of both parties is after money and power to the detriment of individual freedom.- OnTheRight, on 02/21/2008, -1/+5A hundred thumbs up!!!!
- ZenaTWQ, on 05/05/2008, -1/+3brings to mind the old story of putting the frog in a pot of cold water and bringing it to a slow boil, so slowly it doesn't even notice....
- Himself, on 02/29/2008, -1/+1You are the pot personified screaming color epitaphs of kettles everywhere
- brothaslide, on 02/20/2008, -1/+11Like the old saying goes, be careful what you ask for. Hope and change are great platitudes but I want more substance. I hate to think about what America will be like in 30 years. A bunch of old farts sitting around wondering what happened, and I'll say, " You got what you asked for."
- victorypup, on 02/27/2008, -0/+3There are a lot of us saying that now from the last 30 years.
- DorkAlert, on 02/21/2008, -1/+6Obama is a charismatic puppet. He is a political evangelist wooing converts for his cause. He can even get them to faint. His god is The State and his savior is his social agenda.
- emmeron, on 02/27/2008, -1/+5Well said!
- SampleX, on 02/27/2008, -1/+1Marxism is the force being used across the Western world to agitate the hegemony of a New World Order... one only need to look at the British government, which is saturated, reeking and dominated by far left Marxists, Marxist think tanks and devout Fabianists - this is not the government that the British people voted for - these are truths that have emerged since a government which was praised for moving the 'Labour Party' from the far left to a more centrist ground has begun, like the trojan horse that it always was, to show its true colours and reveal the very dangerous threat that it poses to freedom and healthy society.
- TomJx, on 05/02/2008, -0/+1The facts are indeed mischaracterized. Read chapters 4-5 of "Dreams from My Father" to get the full picture, but here's a quick summary.
Frank wasn't a "father figure" or mentor, but a friend of Barack's grandfather. The two of them were both from Wichita, Kansas although they didn't know each other until they met in Hawaii. Obama was writing about the various people he knew growing up, each of whom had their own view of racial issues. Frank talked about the old days of Jim Crow in Kansas. What Obama thought about Frank's view was this:
"It made me smile, thinking back on Frank and his old Black Power, dashiki self. In some ways he was as incurable as my mother, as certain in his faith, living in the same sixties time warp that Hawaii had created."
In other words, Frank hadn't moved on. Obama recognized that Frank's world no longer existed, although Frank didn't see that.
NOW do you get it? - Kaleokualoha, on 06/12/2008, -0/+0Like the blind men and the elephant, professional advocates such as Trevor Loudon (3/29/07 "New Zeal" article) and Cliff Kincaid (2/18/08 "Accuracy In Media" article) seem to recognize only that small facet of Davis’ life that might smear Barack Obama. Not content with stacking available evidence, their swiftboating creates false evidence to exaggerate Davis’ influence. You would think that those ostensibly committed to "accuracy in media" would actually PRACTICE accuracy in media, but effective red-baiting may require liberty with the truth. Their disinformation includes:
- Loudon: “the Communist Party USA is claiming Barack Obama as its
spiritual heir” (Gerald Horne made no such claim in the referenced article)
- Kincaid: According to Gerald Horne (CPUSA linked article), Davis “became
the young man's mentor” and influenced Obama’s “career moves” (Horne said
that Davis gave Obama career advice, rather than influencing his career
moves, and did not use the term “mentor.”)
- Kincaid: Obama “developed a close relationship, almost like a son, with
Davis” (unsubstantiated speculation)
- Kincaid: Dr. Takara described Davis as a "socialist realist" (Takara
actually described him as a "social realist, which is quite different)
- Kincaid (6/7/08 Interview with Pittsburgh Tribune-Review): Davis was a "was a
lifelong member of the Communist Party USA" (unsubstantiated leap of
faithlessness made since the A.I.M. 2/18/08 article)
As his focus shifted over the years, Frank Marshall Davis was many different things. He was a communist, capitalist, socialist, democrat, libertarian, civil rights activist, labor activist, pacifist, and even militarist as conditions changed. If you closely examine his writings, however, you will find at his core only two: poet and champion of human rights.
