politico.com — From Politico: Obama is up in Texas with his own red phone spot, a direct response to Clinton that doesn't name her, but stresses the contrast between their stances on the beginning of the war in Iraq.

- jforjools, on 03/01/2008, -0/+0Yeah, it's not just that she made the bad judgment call...But it took her years (and 20 public debates) for her to finally show a bit regret over this decision... What really, really bugs me about her Iraq vote is claiming that she 'misunderstood' what the bill was for. (I've even seen some references to her not reading the bill at all--don't know if it's true.) But the title of the bill says 'invasion of Iraq'--and she's sticking by some story that she thought the bill was about sending inspectors in. (never heard of inspectors 'invading' anything, myself...) And I bet the vote for Iraq didn't take place at 3 in the morning. Keep her away from the phone!!!! Imagine what she could do if she's feeling even a little groggy!
