Clearly he never took an economics class or he had someone else do the assignments for him because what he is proposing is a recipe for disaster. - psibladeZX, on 05/15/2008, -0/+1If he really wanted to help the middle class in america, he wouldnt be doing this. He could implement a more complicated strategy of increasing the cap gains tax rate on individuals making more than xxx amount. But when most people in the middle class are trying to save for retirement by investing in a 401k, IRA, or any other type of investment vehicle... he should not increase the tax on those people.

It won't work, can't work, and has been proven a failure.
