He's only asking for people who truly support him, unlike the Rush Limbaugh's plan to illegally skew the election by telling Republicans to register as Democrats just to keep Hillary in the race so it will hurt the Democratic party.

    I'm puzzled as to why the Republicans want Hillary so badly. The vast majority of Americans are not going to vote for an extremely liberal black man with a Muslim name, an Islamic background, a wife who doesn't particularly care for America, and a pastor that’s steeped in Black Liberation theology. Seriously, Obama doesn’t stand a chance in the general election. His extreme liberal ideology and his willingness to sacrifice American sovereignty to the UN will energize the Republicans. He'll lose in a landslide.

It's not because we like either of these vermin, but rather that we hate them so much. Of course, McAmnesty is not all that great, either - he's really just a moderate dimocrap claiming to be a Republican. :-(

Rush is asking people to become democrats for one day purely so they can prolong the battle between democrats. they have no intention of voting for hillary again.
  • azpat, on 03/24/2008, -2/+4Switching to vote for someone in a primary that you intend to vote for in the general is legal. Both Clinton and Obama publicly recruit voters this way. Switching to vote for someone that you have no intention of voting for in the general is cheating, illegal in states where you sign an affidavit that you're switching in good faith, and is the practice that Rush Limbaugh is advocating.

    Now Hillary won't admit that most of her republican switchers are of the cheating variety. And Obama is probably foolish to encourage this because he won't be able to say "no fair" after the fact as easily as if he had been against it from the start.

        That's so very clever. You're almost as funny as the people who keep repeating things like "Shrillary" and "B. Hussein Obama." These types of names weren't clever or funny the first time, and they certainly aren't clever now. My father once referred to Huckabee as "Huckleberry," which was amusing because it was a genuine slip of the tongue. Thinking you're making a political point by making fun of a candidate's name, however, is at best a ridiculous tactic, and at worst is an underhanded way to stir up fear and prejudice.

          (a) AFAIK, I am the one who coined "obobblehead" and watching that empty suit attempt bob & weave around the obstacles his associations with various extremists have caused him only reinforces my belief it is applicable.

          (b) I loath both these scum. Slick willy's shrewish consort is a shrill bitch, hence "shrillary" or "hildabitch" are entirely appropriate. And certainly b. hussein is accurate at several levels for a guy whose legal name it is and who is half moslem, studied at a wahabbi-financed madrassa, sits on a board granting funds to the palestinian terrorists and makes no secret of his eagerness to abandon the fight against the crazies of the barbaric 7th Century moon cult of the rabid pederast.
