- visiblepulse, on 05/14/2008, -5/+4many republicans will vote for clinton. they feel that clinton is easier for mccain to defeat in nov.
- SheilaNoya, on 05/14/2008, -1/+6Oregon has a closed primary, so that little game doesn't work there. Unfortunately, it also keeps a lot of Independents from voting for Obama, but he's still doing fine there anyway.
- slvrbullet87, on 05/14/2008, -6/+11In other news, Clinton has won West Virginia 67% to 26%
- nreynolds, on 05/14/2008, -2/+11in other news, the population of Oregon is almost twice that of West Virginia.
- sKiLLa182, on 05/14/2008, -2/+1So she's going to get the nomination then? No? Well then: EPIC WIN FOR HILARY!
- PhireN, on 05/14/2008, -1/+4Little higher than I expected, but not by much, and it doesn't change anything.
BTW, what happened to the missing 7% ?- MJDub, on 05/14/2008, -0/+4Edwards
- Krisgi, on 05/14/2008, -0/+3Edwards got it. Some just couldn“t see voting for the Black guy or the Woman. They had to vote for a WHITE MALE, goddangit.
- brstilson, on 05/14/2008, -0/+2Among racist, uneducated rural hillbillies.
- Fordi, on 05/14/2008, -0/+2In other news, "Yaaay! We won an inconsequential gain in delegates over that bad, bad black muslim man!" - the Hillary camp.
- otis12, on 05/14/2008, -1/+4I live in Portland, Oregon and I am defiantly voting for Obama. I am almost certain that he will dominate on the 20th.
- CannedMango, on 05/14/2008, -2/+6In other news... the south is still extremely racist.
- actorboy, on 05/14/2008, -1/+2Yeah, some people just aren't ready to vote for a black man. Oh, wait...that was said by the governor of Pennsylvania just before Hillary won the majority of his state's non-college-educated white vote. Get over your own prejudices. Racism is everywhere.
- JekJob, on 05/14/2008, -0/+1Exit polls show that 8 in 10 people who voted for Clinton said that race was a deciding factor. Even John Edwards got 7 percent of the vote.
- zenithmbr, on 05/14/2008, -4/+2i wish i could bury this story again. he's gonna ***** win, get over it.
- insomniacal, on 05/14/2008, -10/+5A 17 point lead, eh? Hope that makes him feel better about his 41 point loss in WV.
- richporter, on 05/14/2008, -1/+7Probably not, but the majority of those 65 delegates will.
- ProfessorSYM, on 05/14/2008, -0/+3I bet the fact that he has won twice as many contests as she has and will actually be the nominee (and the President in 2009) cushions the WV loss for him.
- iwillrefuse, on 05/14/2008, -1/+2Pssshaw! Yeah, maybe he can pull these kind of numbers with educated, white voters who aren't admittedly racially biased, and who show a level of literacy allowing them to realize that he's actually *not* actually a Muslim. But that's not the American I have come to know and love...
