Senator Clinton suppressed her hostile emotion and called for nomination of Barak Obama by acclamation. She could have been the candidate if she had not voted for Iraq war. She still is a Goldwater girll by deed and action. She cannot be regarded a Progressive liberal. Her voting patterns is consistent with radical right wing of Republican Party. She is not a genuine person. At her best, she is a phony. Hillary lost the nominaton because many Democrats looked at her and saw a candidate who lacked principles, who was prepared to do almost anything to get elected president. People liked Obama because he was against the war in Iraq, and he was an agent of change. Recently, Hillary offered companionship to any man who paid off her compaign debt; Bill Clinton did not have any objection.- edmondburke, on 08/28/2008, -0/+1Could not agree more - you got it on one. Thank God someone in the US can 'think'.
- paradoxal, on 08/28/2008, -1/+4I salute the Clintons for putting aside subjective emotions to back up a candidate who has defeated them. Together Hilary and Obama made history.
Hilary made history for standing straight and tall for her party regardless of defeat while Obama made history for being the first African American presidential candidate nominated by one of America's largest parties but most of all, for his policies that awakens the efforts of all to make the world as it should be instead of accepting it as it is even though it is unacceptable.
In the future, wherever and whenever the historic nomination of Obama will be written or mentioned, the name of Hilary will be ever present.

ME - 2008 - branjb, on 08/28/2008, -1/+1How does this huffingtonpost ***** always make it to the front page? Their writing is godawful.
- edmondburke, on 08/28/2008, -1/+1Ah - you are entitled to your opinion, but one must ask where you learned to express yourself. You certainly lack any finesse in the use of the English language. Rather 'loutish' and definitely 'common and rough'. Suggest you brush up on the art of good manners, dear.
