Obama Calls for End of Corruption in Washington, DC
barackoblogger.com — The Barack Obama campaign is calling for an end to secretive pork-barrel spending and corruption in Washington. We've had years of shadow government, secrecy, lies and wasteful spending. Let's get our country back on the right track.

- cashman57, on 11/07/2007, -2/+3Obama has no credibility. he has voted for pork barrel projects and has voted to fund the fraud. He's not a spokeman for clean politics if you look at what he has done as a Senator.
The rookie believes in bigger government and bigger government leads to more corruption and fraud.
He can't be against corruption and for bigger government. He must practice arguing with himself!- barackoblogger, on 11/09/2007, -2/+2He has released all his earmarks. Look for yourself and judge accordingly.

Obama has given back campaign contributions he found to be from special interests or PACs.
Let's say for a moment he has voted for pork barrel projects (you're wrong by the way, but let's skip past the obvious and get to the point), he has also voted AND proposed legislation to ensure that all money and voting records by senators and house members are transparent to the voters.
Bigger government, with capable governing, does not necessarily lead to corruption. However if you feel like Hillary would be a better nominee, you may very well be right in your assessment of corruption.

http://obama.senate.gov/press/070621-obama_announc ... - Observant1, on 11/09/2007, -0/+3he's only trying to capitalize on parroting Dr. Ron Paul's message, because it is working!
- RuffRidr, on 11/09/2007, -0/+2Well, he doesn't have to look very far does he? His own party is the kings of pork barrel spending. I'll start listening if he manages to clean up his own party first.
- barackoblogger, on 11/09/2007, -1/+1He is not jumping on Ron Paul's bandwagon. He has been proposing ethics legislation since he was a state senator in Illinois, and got a major ethics reform bill passed there.
- cashman57, on 11/09/2007, -0/+1He has nothing to offer. He is a rookie who does not even know flag protocol and if he's that stupid he doesn't need to be nominated but with the way the Democrats have been doing things lately he will probably be their choice.
As an American I am ashamed that someone as ignorant as the rookie is even in the race!
