- Napoleone, on 02/08/2008, -4/+2Obama voted 'YES' yesterday on an amendment to extend by four years mass, warrant-less domestic spying.
Going from 6 to 4 years is no improvement. Obama needs to learn how to just say "NO" to unconstitutional laws.- kschramm, on 02/08/2008, -1/+4Hillary voted "YES" to the war.

- theuniversal, on 02/08/2008, -2/+2As usual, you Paul supporters oversimplify issues into stupidity. I want a leader who is pragmatic enough to get things done. I don't know the details of his vote yet - neither do you - but Obama's understanding of the Constitution makes Ron Paul's look like a Saturday morning cartoon. Obama's record shows he's on the right side of civil rights issues. Many people strongly disagree with Paul's view to leave important civil rights issues up to individual state legislatures. Finally, voting to get some improvements is sometimes better than voting to get nothing at all. I want a leader who not only believes in the right things but is pragmatic enough to get things accomplished.
- Napoleone, on 02/08/2008, -1/+1Yeah, his vote for the P.A.T.R.I.O.T. Act, P.A.T.R.I.O.T. Act II, Real ID, and now this law.. man, it really shows he's committed to civil liberties; to destroying them at least.
"but Obama's understanding of the Constitution makes Ron Paul's look like a Saturday morning cartoon."
It's no use to know how to run a car if you're just going to smash it against a brick wall. Obama is a fraud and he needs you to get off his dick.

- kaitcan, on 02/08/2008, -0/+0I want Ron Paul because he stands up for what he believes in. He took the time to question in his life what meant something to him, and he put his freedom before everything else. He put it before success and before SECURITY! We're joking if we think giving up security is going to do anything to protect us from "terrorist attacks." If we stop our AGGRESSION towards the people in the middle east and get out of their holy land, they wont have cause to attack us. It's not about oversimplifying, it's about fixing the actual problem instead of putting on a band aid. I could NEVER support a president who voted (twice) to suspend my civil liberties, because there is a candidate out there who views my FREEDOM as the most important thing. Ron Paul. 2008 and forever.
