Obama Bashes Small-Town America
elections.foxnews.com — Hillary Clinton and John McCain both ripped into Barack Obama Friday for reportedly saying residents of small-town America “cling to guns or religion or antipathy to people who aren’t like them” out of bitterness over lost jobs, a remark his opponents interpreted as arrogant.

Bitter about the economic conditions? Maybe. But the people who have stayed have, for the most part, chosen to stay. However, the "clinging to guns and religion and anti-immigrant" comment/spin is waaay out of line. Let's face it. That's his opinion of small town America - jobs or no jobs.

Only problem is, he doesn't define what "white people" he's referring to. I'm assuming he means white anglos who grew up in the South? Couldn't be Italians, even the women have BALLS - we don't scare like that. Speaking of Italians or the Agentinians, oops, Obama calls THEM "hispanic," even though 79% of them are in fact Italians, and the fact that "hispanic" is not a race, it's a CULTURE comprised of negro, indian, AND white (white being the Spanish)

or then he calls Jews (which is a religion and not a color) he alternates between calling them Jews and then white and then he speaks of the semite peoples (arabs and hasidic Jews) as being "non-white." So where did Obama get his college degree? Did they just give it to him without having to take a test or what? How can he be a race "uniter" when he doesn't even understand things like "hispanic" and "latino" NOT being a race?

Self-hating liberals love to whip themselves with Obama's words and cleanse their wounds with the very same, but I doubt that even they can keep up that torture forever. They too have a breaking point, and I suspect that it will occur about midway through the national elections, where many of them will awake in the middle of night in cold sweats and realize that they will be pulling the lever for McCain, despite what they've told everyone.

Obama is tapping into this bigotry and racism. That's why his comments at the San Francisco fundraiser were so sickening, because he believes it! He is spreading it wherever and whenever he can. That is, when he doesn't think the targets of his smears are listening. Hells bells, who's he with? It's a fundraiser, for crying out loud. He's with zillionaires, gazillionaires, billionaires, and millionaires in San Francisco. A bunch of elitists. And everybody knows what they think of people in the heartland, the Midwest, the people that make this country work. He's trying to get money out of these people. And he's saying exactly what they think, too.
You see, we have reached the point here, ladies and gentlemen, where patriotism is defined as adopting the attitude and positions of those who smear the country and its values, faith, rule of law, military victory, capitalism. If you criticize those things, you are now patriotic. If you hate those things, you are now a patriot, because your country's not worth all these great traditions and institutions. This country fights unjust wars. This country oppresses people. This country makes it possible for people to have suffering in Darfur. This country enables genocide in Rwanda. This country does all the evil in the world. This country is destroying the planet with global warming and everything else. So if you hate this country, you are a patriot. That's the new patriotism. And Obama is tapping into it. If you oppose a candidate, you happen to oppose a candidate because of his positions, and you are white, and he is black, then you are automatically a racist. If that candidate smears millions of people who are different than he is, then he is merely misstating his position, he was clumsy, and he gets a redo.
