Obama Assures Jews of His Support

nytimes.com — Faced with doubts about his support for Israel and American Jews, Senator Barack Obama has stepped up his efforts to reach out to the Jewish community over the past month, giving speeches and granting interviews to confront questions about the militant Palestinian group Hamas and his commitment to Jewish causes and values.

  • chrisjj, on 05/18/2008, -0/+1There are probably more Muslims than Jews in America (or at least as many). Obama should not be favoring one group over another. Obama's pandering reveals him to be a true politician's politician at core. Four more years of unwavering and unyielding support for Israel irrespective of the morality or legality of what Israel actually does. Obama - you won't get my vote, that's for sure.
