- dsmyre, on 05/17/2008, -16/+202Thank goodness. Please let the healing begin.
- jbenson2, on 05/17/2008, -38/+8It will as Hillary's voters move over to McCain and leave the O-man stranded.
- Lyk4n, on 05/17/2008, -2/+9lmao
- lgc90, on 05/17/2008, -4/+3It's such a shame, but I'm afraid it could be true for many voters come November. http://www.metacafe.com/watch/1318534/obama_faces_ ... It's heartbreaking to hear so many democrats saying they'll either vote McCain or not at all because of their ridiculous prejudice.
- Pillage, on 05/17/2008, -11/+1they should leaver the O-man for legitimate reasons, like the tax hike he wants to implement.
- DanMiller, on 05/17/2008, -1/+9You're right, we should just keep spending and not pay taxes. Leave that deficit for our children, we'll be long gone. Same for environmental concerns, ***** em!
- jbenson2, on 05/17/2008, -4/+2Ridiculous prejudice? Yeah, I am prejudiced against liars who plead ignorance to what their pastor preaches after attending the church for 20 years.
- mcquitty, on 05/17/2008, -1/+1@DanMiller,
Perhaps we can get a candidate that doesn't want to pander and spend billions on new government programs. That, coupled with reasonable taxes, would certainly go along way to getting rid of the deficit.
According to my calculations, Mr. Obama wants to spend over $200 billion just on his energy policies.
- wacomwacoff, on 05/17/2008, -1/+4It's not as simple as that. However, I have no doubt that enough inbred Americans are stupid and prejudiced enough to vote for a white man because of his skin color rather than choose a president on the strength of his ideas.
- jbenson2, on 05/17/2008, -2/+2Your analysis is wrong. It is not a race issue. Obama's obviously not ready for primetime. His lack of strength of ideas is why Americans won't vote for him in the general election.
- mcquitty, on 05/17/2008, -0/+2Why play the race card on everything? Perhaps people don't like Mr. Obama's policies? Can you not separate the policies from the man?
I have no problem voting for a black man. I am not sure that Mr. Obama is the right one for my vote. But, too many people instantly jump to the racist card if you say you don't want to vote for him. Or how about the black people who are getting pressure to vote for Mr. Obama based upon his color? Isn't that just as bad? Why vote on issues if race is the deciding factor?
- unreg, on 05/17/2008, -14/+4You mean the Obama crowd will stop the constant barrage of submissions?
- bclinton, on 05/17/2008, -15/+1Breaking news! The Obama Butt Boys have stopped jacking off until Xmas of 2008.........wait Breaking News Again.....someone spotted the Obama Butt Boys jacking off during a John Holmes rerun at the 24 hour adult cinema. He was overheard saying Hillary is …
- wacomwacoff, on 05/17/2008, -0/+5That's a little creepy. Do you always think about masturbation when the subject of Obama comes up?
- cutekelvins, on 05/17/2008, -9/+1I want to see Bush in action again.
- haydesigner, on 05/17/2008, -1/+3Been a long time since you've seen some bush?
- stretch611, on 05/17/2008, -3/+7Actually I would not mind watching Hillary lose another $11.4 million, as long as it would not hurt Obama's chances in November...
- LeeSoong, on 05/18/2008, -0/+1it wont.
- Peeseblossom, on 05/17/2008, -4/+2I still think Hillary is going to step in and try to mess things up. You know she wants that nomination. I'm just wondering how far she will take things. I am curious to see how far she will go. The convention is going to be more like a suspenseful movie than a political gathering. I just wonder who is going to come out alive.
- theapplegod, on 05/17/2008, -7/+0And this data comes from where "Obama Spanks?" I find nothing on CNN to verify this claim of "Mr. American Idol" being that close to the Democratic nomination?
More spam. Do you have anything else to do but spank this guy? - GhostyBoy, on 05/17/2008, -1/+2I think his comment is sincere.
He wants things to get better.
So do I. - flink405, on 05/17/2008, -4/+1What healing?
What do expect Obama to heal???- copyland, on 05/17/2008, -0/+2um....how about ignorance? arrogance? nothing you would understand.
- LeeSoong, on 05/18/2008, -0/+1Hillary wins by default, Bill is calling in his cards this week,
and the favors must be repaid . . .
Bill did a lot of things for people in his 8 years in office,
are they really going to forget what he did for them?
- jbenson2, on 05/17/2008, -38/+8It will as Hillary's voters move over to McCain and leave the O-man stranded.

- swiftekho, on 05/17/2008, -1/+1I'm from Louisville and I have one thing to yell.
KENTUCKY ACTUALLY MATTERS!- jonohull, on 05/17/2008, -0/+3Not in the nomination race.
- Gerz1219, on 05/17/2008, -0/+2By my calculations, a 67-33 blowout for Hillary in Kentucky would result in Obama winning another 17 delegates.
- copyland, on 05/17/2008, -0/+1if it were not for that derby Kentucky would be only part of a limerick.
- thefirstenemy, on 05/17/2008, -15/+6417 Pledged Delegates Away From Winning Pledged Delegate Majority.
Clinton will still say he needs 2209 to win. It won't be over.- baldr, on 05/17/2008, -2/+20and then everyone (including most mainstream media) will continue to ignore Hillary as they have been for the past few days/week.
- Lyk4n, on 05/17/2008, -0/+4Kinda like how they treat Ron Paul, they're all like "Ru who?"
- rpgmaker, on 05/17/2008, -2/+1In fact, I've been watching Ron Paul now more than ever in TV due to his revolt against the neocons and the GOP elite. He's been even on Fox News a few times this week.
- Lyk4n, on 05/17/2008, -0/+4Kinda like how they treat Ron Paul, they're all like "Ru who?"
- Traiklin, on 05/17/2008, -13/+1she's just taking a page out of Al Gore's playbook, it worked well for him after all.
- acroyear2, on 05/17/2008, -2/+43After 2209 delegates, she'll challenge him to a game of Uno. After that, beer pong.
- PhireN, on 05/17/2008, -0/+15Chances are Obama will win at beer pong, so she will have to move onto "Ladies First"
- Ocelot13, on 05/17/2008, -1/+2and if that fails.... flip cup.
- hmunkey, on 05/17/2008, -0/+1Because she is such a good drinker.
- stretch611, on 05/17/2008, -3/+1Actually, She will challenge him to a round of Bowling. :)
- Jordan117, on 05/17/2008, -2/+4Clinton is wrong. Period.
- baldr, on 05/17/2008, -2/+20and then everyone (including most mainstream media) will continue to ignore Hillary as they have been for the past few days/week.
- dxgg, on 05/17/2008, -11/+108Even Clinton were to be awarded the Michigan and Florida delegates, she'd lose. What on earth can she still have up her sleeve? Still...I'm not calling it until it's official. I wouldn't trust that broad as far as I could throw her.
- TremorX, on 05/17/2008, -6/+21Indeed. Her level of corruption is even wider than her hips.
- MOJIRA, on 05/17/2008, -0/+11Oh snap, youz a cold motha *****...
- DoctorFaust, on 05/17/2008, -0/+11She knew she lost a long time ago. Now it's just about her being able to say she didn't give up. She even recently changed her rhetoric to reflect that.
- rugabug, on 05/17/2008, -4/+1Well if you were the Hulk you could throw her pretty far. Just sayin.
- burketo, on 05/17/2008, -0/+1and yet the hulk isn't very trusting.....
- verevi, on 05/17/2008, -2/+3This is a really compelling argument for why she will keep fighting (all the way to November). Sad, disgusting, but possibly true:
http://digg.com/politics/Why_Hillary_Won_t_Quit_2- jonohull, on 05/17/2008, -0/+2Don't spam your own submissions.
- straylight08, on 05/17/2008, -1/+1Perhaps she has a sniper rifle hidden up her sleeve somewhere?
- Eezyville, on 05/18/2008, -0/+2She probably wanted the Michigan and Florida voters to feel that they contributed to the Democratic party primaries. I was looking around at the comments of some of the Michigan and Florida natives and they seem pretty pissed. And alot are blaming it on Obama, I don't know why since he had nothing to do with it. I'm not sure if they should count them because they did break the rules and they have to be responsible but its the voters who suffer.
- TremorX, on 05/17/2008, -6/+21Indeed. Her level of corruption is even wider than her hips.
- Krisgi, on 05/17/2008, -11/+55Clinton doesn´t make the rules here. She is just another person who has to abide by them, and until there is a decision with regards to MI and FL, she should shut the ***** up and get behind Obama NOW. It´s the only card left of all the hands she has played, and her only hope for holding public office in this nation in the future.
- jbenson2, on 05/17/2008, -16/+4There is another card which has been verified by the polls - her voters will either switch to McCain or sit home.
- Cyborg326, on 05/17/2008, -0/+8she has defended Obama after Bush & Co.'s remarks about him being an appeaser. If she gets behind him her supporters will as well.
- theapplegod, on 05/17/2008, -5/+0Nope, voting for McCain. He has experience. We don't need a "CHANGE" in America, we need results.
At least it will be -1 for him since I had a say.- Nescirian, on 05/19/2008, -0/+0Results would be a change around here.
- brokenspatula, on 05/17/2008, -127/+23too bad it wont be good enough to win againts mccain

- sephiroth965, on 05/17/2008, -0/+1It's always so easy to remember why I blocked you.
- BloodWenis, on 05/17/2008, -7/+25Seriously? As a 29 year old who has voted Republican every year since he was 18, McCain doesn't stand a chance. The DNC has basically anointed Obama their savior and McCain is the sacrifice for the 08 election slaughter.
McCain is another neocon Douchebag that's a prime example of why the GOP is in a tailspin. Have you even heard him speak lately? His strategy is not to win the conservative base, but to run a moderate Democratic campaign. No thanks, I'm now Libertarian and not supporting that guy.- Shadic, on 05/17/2008, -0/+1...You voted Bush? Twice? ...But you sound decently educated. :(
- MikeSD34, on 05/17/2008, -2/+11I like turtles.
- argaen21, on 05/17/2008, -0/+5Turtles 08. Yes we ca....TURTLE POWER.
- Puppyfam, on 05/17/2008, -6/+1To all those who are digging brokenspatula down, remember: Obama doesn't currently have the support in the electoral college he needs to win.
I think the trend will be towards Obama not away from him in the coming months, but don't think your guy is a shoo-in.- xunil2, on 05/17/2008, -3/+2Really? Because I'm pretty sure that doesn't get decided until NOVEMBER!
- Puppyfam, on 05/17/2008, -2/+3That's why I said "currently." If the election was held today he wouldn't win the electoral college. I'm not saying he won't or can't win; I'm just trying to give a reality-check. He hasn't won the election yet, and it could be a tough campaign between him and McCain.
- ryptide, on 05/17/2008, -0/+1If frogs had wings they wouldn't bump their asses on the lily pads.
All the electoral college speculation is just that. Speculation. You can't base an entire general election on the primary results and polls. The fact that there are more than two people currently in the race and that both sets of Democratic supporters are hardcore for their candidate certainly skews the results. - Puppyfam, on 05/17/2008, -0/+2Ok, the results are skewed. The point still remains: if the election were held today, Obama would lose to McCain. As I stated before, I think Obama has nowhere to go but up in the polls, but Obama supporters shouldn't believe that they have already won the election. It could be a tough fight.
- ryptide, on 05/17/2008, -0/+1If frogs had wings they wouldn't bump their asses on the lily pads.
- Pedestrian101, on 05/17/2008, -0/+1There are too many people who think Obama is filled with BS, gonna be very hard for Obama to win, when it should be the easiest year in history for a Democrat to win.
- calvmari, on 05/17/2008, -21/+14I love Obama and am for him winning the presidency, but that picture looks like one of those awkward moments when you put a movie on pause.
- MrTito, on 05/17/2008, -8/+86Is Clinton still around? She sure is being quiet. Maybe she's writing a concession speech.
- Khanvalescent, on 05/17/2008, -6/+11Maybe her mouth is busy elsewhere. Hee-yo!
- psylemon, on 05/17/2008, -0/+7Zing!
- acroyear2, on 05/17/2008, -0/+11Her concession speech probably sounds a lot like O'Reilly's Inside Edition days.
- hergs, on 05/17/2008, -1/+4She is push-polling in Oregon tonight... I've received a couple calls.
Maybe after she's done pushing everyone's poles, she'll have time for that concession speech.
- Khanvalescent, on 05/17/2008, -6/+11Maybe her mouth is busy elsewhere. Hee-yo!
- repick3, on 05/17/2008, -39/+8Good news, however, by digging it up I would only encourage more Huffington Post spam.

- Kwipper, on 05/17/2008, -4/+8I think the message he is trying to say is "One down (Clinton), one to go (McCain)" but in a rather dark way.
Geeez people. Get a sense of humor.- innocentsinner, on 05/17/2008, -1/+4Um..yeah. Clearly.
- Clouse, on 05/17/2008, -5/+4Sorry, but a reference to thousands of people dying which eventually led to nearly 7 more years of Americans suffering isn't exactly humorous to me.

- V3n0M, on 05/17/2008, -2/+2It doesn't take a psychic to know that Barack Obama (the man who votes to keep funding an illegal, unconstitutional war) is going to screw up. Look at his record, it is only a matter of "when", not "if".
- romistrub, on 05/17/2008, -2/+5OMG! What are tomorrow's winning lottery numbers?!
- Xondar, on 05/17/2008, -2/+2I think he'll be a fine president. I think the worst that will happen is he'll be stonewalled by Congress every step of the way, but I doubt that will happen due to the Democratic majority that's sure to happen.
- userperson, on 05/17/2008, -2/+1There's a difference?
- jbenson2, on 05/17/2008, -23/+10"This will all be over soon."
No, it won't. Hillary will go to the convention. Regardless of the delegate count, she will fight for the rights of the voters in Florida and Michigan.- dsgamer, on 05/17/2008, -1/+7the problem is that even if they are added, it doesnt really change anything
- acroyear2, on 05/17/2008, -1/+12Of course. She was against your rights before she was for them. She clearly does what she says she's going to do...
- Lyk4n, on 05/17/2008, -1/+13"she will fight for the rights of the voters in Florida and Michigan"
You have only your own state officials to blame for this, they broke the rules and Hillary agreed to decision made when it happened. She is going back on her own word, how reliable will she be to us later if she can't be trusted now? Am I wrong? Also, look how she has ran her campaign, do you really want that kind of childish BS in the White House? Haven't we had enough of that the last 8 years! - BloodWenis, on 05/17/2008, -1/+7You are right it won't because the Clinton's have no shame. If she is ahead in any category whatsoever, well then that's a mandate for her to be the nominee. I think it's awesome because its dragging whatever rep Bill had left over from the 90s into the ground as well.
The people in Michigan and Florida have their state's to blame. No one else. - apophenic, on 05/17/2008, -1/+10Regardless of whether or not you think their votes should count, don't buy the spin about her defending their rights. She's only trying to get their delegates seated because it helps her politically.
- BloodWenis, on 05/17/2008, -0/+2
It's whatever angle she can scrape together she'll try and use. Nothing is beneath the Clinton's.
- BloodWenis, on 05/17/2008, -0/+2
- theapplegod, on 05/17/2008, -2/+0Why give up? It's not like she and Bill don't have plenty to burn on the campaign. Do you know how much he makes off speaking engagements and other appearances? America loves him and remembers his Presidency as one not full of violence, high gas prices, and an endless war on terror.
I respect McCain as a POW as my father was, and will vote for him in November if Obama is the Democratic candidate.
I will so love it when McCain wins and everyone in America who gave money to this idiot realizes all it really did was give them a recordable tax write-off for next year. The "CHANGE" as Obama loves to tout is only in getting Bush out of the White House and making a real difference to our economy which is slumping and turn this country around. Forget quick fixes, let's look at the long term plan.
Obama.... PLEASE. Digg community, what are you thinking. Who's it going to be? Paul or Obama? Pick a party and STAY there. Don't get behind the current favorite to fall in rank and file.
- randyzaia, on 05/17/2008, -32/+5Going to be awesome when that Michelle Obama "whitey" video comes out!
- randyzaia, on 05/17/2008, -15/+4October Surprise!
http://politicalkudzu.com/2008/05/16/michelle-obam ...- MrTito, on 05/17/2008, -1/+3I call *****. Why? Well, besides the obvious lack of sources on this, also it's May. Holding it until October but announcing it now is literally ignorant political strategy. The Obama camp can leak it sometime this summer and take the issue off the table, if it existed. But, we know that this doesn't exist and this is nothing more than a pathetic attempt to start a whisper campaign.
- StarlessKnight, on 05/17/2008, -0/+2"Right Pundits is reporting that there is reportedly a tape..."
Read that carefully. Slow down. "Reportedly" means it is not confirmed nor is there any video footage to support the claim.

- johnnyfistfight, on 05/17/2008, -21/+4You mean he's 17 pledged delegates away from getting his ass handed to him ass in general election. McCain going to tap Bobby Jindal
as his V.P. Obama will be forced to choose a one of the old tired buffoons he beat in the primaries. I kind of feel sorry for Obama.- dsgamer, on 05/17/2008, -0/+4I'm pretty sure Edwards would make and excellent VP and I wouldn't call him tired, his wife just has cancer
- acroyear2, on 05/17/2008, -0/+3I don't know much about Jindal but this nation is looking for a democratic movement right now. McCain is doomed almost entirely because he's aligned with a failing, completely idiotic party in this moment in time. If McCain wants to win, she should completely admonish, reject, AND denounce Bush.
He won't though so he's going to lose. Sorry to break it to you.- pookkake, on 05/17/2008, -0/+0If he were going to do it he probably will not until after the republican party convention.

- romistrub, on 05/17/2008, -0/+1By my terrible understanding of American politics, candidates can choose to wait until convention, regardless, as that is where the final decision is made.
- CyclonusRIP, on 05/17/2008, -0/+2That's true but if Obama gets enough pledged delegates to win beforehand it will be really easy to figure out who will win the vote at the convention.

- Kwipper, on 05/17/2008, -15/+25Now if only Obama can beat McCain, then I can safely say that am proud to have seen a black man become president of the United States of America. Something worth telling my future children about.

- NeuroSlappy, on 05/17/2008, -1/+1Do me a favor, don't pass your racial programming onto any future kids. Break the cycle go get a vasectomy.
- geminus, on 05/17/2008, -7/+58I'm proud actually... never before have I seen such a politically active America. You should all be proud of this. This is not a race about race... it's about change and the system which pays such idiots as Bill O'Reily coming unglued. I actually have a restored faith in America.

- jellygraph, on 05/17/2008, -6/+8woohoo... but, bear in mind, its not over yet. judging history, the republicans will lie and commit treason in order to try to win the election. expect more attacks coming from mccain and even bush himself (ie, bushs recent comments about obama, which should be a federal crime... not that it matter, because americans don't care about bringing bush to justice)

- DarkSideofMoon, on 05/17/2008, -9/+7I've been seeing Huffington Post stories all week, and EVERY story there is a picture to the right that looks like a woman is given that guy with no shirt a blowjob. Am I the only one seeing this?
- yojiffyskippy, on 05/17/2008, -1/+2Yes because you're probably the only one actually reading the Huffington comPost stories.
- lisaawesome, on 05/17/2008, -0/+1Hah! Just last night I noticed that picture and wondered if I was seeing it correctly.
- superkendall, on 05/17/2008, -6/+10What's sad is that you all believe this. How will you be able to comprehend when Clinton keeps going after the 17 delegate threshold is crossed? Will your minds simply explode?
For you see, at any time the superdelegates are really in control. It doesn't matter how many have pledged one way or the other, until they all vote. If Clinton keeps going, that vote comes at the convention - so there is no transition past seventeen more delegates until she says so, at least before the convention.
I don't like Clinton either, and am 99% sure Obama is the nominee. I just hate the ***** that comes up hourly on Digg proclaiming this or that about delegate counts, which amounts to a hill of beans until they actually vote. You are idiots of the worst sort trying to bring Math into alignment with Politics, and it's going to hurt you again and again until you realize the twain never shall meet.- yojiffyskippy, on 05/17/2008, -2/+3Warning SPOILER:
Hillary will stay in until the convention and then after all the backroom deals are done and the super-delegates have extorted as much out of the candidates as they can get, they'll all support Obama (including Hillary) and it will be one large albeit fake, Obama-gasm. Then and only then will the real campaign begin.
- yojiffyskippy, on 05/17/2008, -2/+3Warning SPOILER:

- dddavid, on 05/17/2008, -9/+0Ding Dong! The Witch is dead. Which old Witch? The Wicked Witch!
Ding Dong! The Wicked Witch is dead.
Wake up - sleepy head, rub your eyes, get out of bed.
Wake up, the Wicked Witch is dead. She's gone where the goblins go,
Below - below - below. Yo-ho, let's open up and sing and ring the bells out.
Ding Dong' the merry-oh, sing it high, sing it low.
Let them know
The Wicked Witch is dead!
As Mayor of the Munchkin City, In the County of the Land of Oz, I welcome you most regally.
But we've got to verify it legally, to see
To see?
If she
If she?
Is morally, ethic'lly
Spiritually, physically
Positively, absolutely
Undeniably and reliably Dead
As Coroner I must aver, I thoroughly examined her.
And she's not only merely dead, she's really most sincerely dead.
Then this is a day of Independence For all the Munchkins and their descendants
If any.
Yes, let the joyous news be spread The wicked Old Witch at last id dead!- dddavid, on 05/18/2008, -0/+0Wow! Hillary supporters actually have internet access to digg me down for this comment? I'm shocked. Remember! They may be stupid, but at least their white! ;)
- radiofrequency, on 05/17/2008, -32/+4The huffington post is hot air. Obama is polling negative in all the remaining states and he refuses to acknowledge his losses in MI and FL. The only way he can wrap this up is by buying off superdelegates.
- dddavid, on 05/17/2008, -1/+6ummm.... What rock have you been hiding under?
- Mahoney07, on 05/17/2008, -2/+71. Losing doesn't matter if you are so close to winning because it isn't winner take all.
2. Obama wasn't even on the ballot for Michigan.
- dagamer34, on 05/17/2008, -4/+11Uhh, after the McBush comments, even if Hillary were bound to be the nominee, this Obama supporter would support the Democratic nominee. The Republicans are ***** crazy and there's no ***** way I'm voting for 4 more years of that *****.
As bad as most Obama supports complain about Hillary, never have I seen her pull a McCain and flat out change policies IN THE MIDDLE OF THE CAMPAIGN. Hillary at least had enough tact to say the changes happened before the race began. - JLSN, on 05/17/2008, -9/+3Do you people really believe that the same country that gave Junior a second term is going to elect Obama. I don't care how many new democrats have registered. His presence will bring out every bible thumpin' racist in existence out to the polls. The right is already calling him a terrorist, and I have a news flash - 51% of the voters buy into the republican lie machine.
The last time I gave the voters in this country the benefit of the doubt was when Kerry lost. I was so sure that Junior would lose I may have even made a bet or two. Well, I lost.
We are losers people.- BertEatsDirt, on 05/17/2008, -0/+0I find your lack of faith disturbing

- yojiffyskippy, on 05/17/2008, -1/+2For some reason the voters seem to like the "ah shucks good ole boys" type of a president like Slick Willy and GW. Elitist snobs like Kerry, Gore and Obama have an uphill battle.

- browe07, on 05/18/2008, -0/+0He is 122 away from total delegates. The article is referring to pledged delegates. So it won't be official when he gets those 17 and Hilary will continue on. Its basically over but it will take more than this for a lot of people to admit it.
- diggitydad, on 05/17/2008, -5/+21. No matter how many of these posts show up, it isn't over until the tally is at half plus 1. Since there are 48 states in Dem world, that's 2025.
