- shodgden, on 09/26/2008, -0/+30I just wanted to say thank you to all the vets and all of those currently in uniform that are putting their life and family on the line for the USA. The opportunity to give thanks doesn't come often enough on these networks.

- JenniferInMO, on 09/27/2008, -0/+20Are you someone who supports our veterans by putting a yellow ribbon on your SUV or do you support them by electing leaders who actually propose and vote for legislation to give our troops what they need while on the battlefield, when they come home and for the rest of their lives. Obama's record speaks for itself and it speaks loudly.
McCain worked hard in the Senate to prevent POW-MIA families from seeing sealed records and was even verbally abusive to some groups who came to Washington to testify. McCain called the most recent bill "too generous" in funds for veterans. The DAV gives McCain a score of 20 out of 100. There are veterans groups all over the country which are supporting Barack Obama. McCain of all people should be the most supportive of our veterans, yet he has failed them over and over again throughout his career.
Our deployed military have given six times more in campaign contributions to Obama than McCain. Active troops cannot be outwardly involved in politics so who speaks for them? Listen to their brethren vets and support our troops by voting for Obama to bring them home. - charm803, on 09/27/2008, -0/+19My brother served in Iraq. He was a Marine and was in the front lines.
He is voting for OBAMA! Oh yeah! - paintgrl, on 09/27/2008, -0/+16My husband, an ex-Marine voting for Obama.
McCain voted no 80% of the time on veterans issues. - Codee, on 09/27/2008, -0/+16I love our troops. Can't wait to bring our best home.

- psy333che, on 09/27/2008, -0/+12I was really upset when McCain had the nerve to act like h into their struggle but he is not at all. Ad of course he lied about it. I wondered how many veterans swore at the TV at that moment when he he lied about his support for them
- xChrisK, on 09/27/2008, -0/+12Mccain believes that to support the vet's all you have to do is tell everyone you do.

- MediaWeasel, on 10/01/2008, -0/+2I expect most have seen the Michael Moore trailer for his latest film (free dowmload throughout the US and Canada) where he asks the entire audience to stand up and applaud the audience members who are in the military. He points out that servicemen and women make a unique sacrifice - they will lay down their lives to protect America. That's why their precious lives must not be squandered by propping up a set of War Criminals - the current Bush Administration.

Thank you. - marcweb, on 10/23/2008, -0/+0I am an OIF vet and I firmly believe that Sen. Obama definitely has the strength and fortitude to direct our armed forces.
