- MrsDoodlepunk, on 10/30/2008, -14/+14If this guy was allied with a Republican, this would be on the evening news. Since he's a friend of The Great One, blessed be his name, (/sarcasm) it will never be seen by most people.
- ClosedCaption, on 10/30/2008, -1/+7Well, this guy is allied with them, they even funded him for more than half a million dollars.
FTA: The International Republican Institute (IRI) during the 1990s gave grants to a Palestinian think tank, which Khalidi co-founded. McCain became chairman of the IRI’s board of directors in 1993.

Listed on a CONSERVATIVE website. So, I just killed two birds with one stone. But continue to cry about liberal bias and "if it was a republican" hypotheticals.

- skmckinny, on 10/30/2008, -13/+9YouTube - State of Obama Part 3 --- Very interesting!!
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bjb70pBDK2o
Starting at 55:25, there is a quote from the NY Times.
Obama went into Nicholas Kristoff's office and recited the Islamic call the to prayer in perfect Arabic and Obama said that it's the most lovely sound in sunset and then Kristoff replied, well don't tell that to the voters in Alabama. - DCMacHead, on 10/30/2008, -12/+8This man speaks about how corrupt Chicago style politics is at the end. I am appalled that Obama is even a candidate for President. Israel is the only country that can be attacked, capture territory in a war started by others, and be told it's an "occupation". Don't wanna lose land, don't start a war--just ask Georgia.
- AQMessiah, on 10/30/2008, -1/+3You're missing the part where "Israel" was Palestine....
Ignorance is bliss, eh? - Trublmakr, on 10/30/2008, -1/+3Fine DCMacHead,.. then declare the "not occupied but rather won fair and square in unprovoked war" territories part of Israel - and it's inhabitants Israeli citizens under law - instead of the giant prison camp you've been operating for 50 years.

- DogBarkTree, on 10/30/2008, -9/+5And yet he will win the Jewish vote by a large margin. Go figure.
- heystoopid, on 10/30/2008, -2/+8Perhaps , because some people are never fooled by lies , fiction , fabricated distorted evidence , you know just the usual political propaganda the RNC is world famous for since the Nixon Era .
- heystoopid, on 10/30/2008, -0/+14Say is this the same dude that back in the nineties John McCain paid him and his foundation some $400,000-00 in the mid nineties .
How soon people forget the facts , a good thing we have the Internet as a repository of knowledge . - Trublmakr, on 10/30/2008, -0/+10What specifically is so wrong about what Khalidi said in this video?
- walkerblackwell, on 10/31/2008, -1/+6Nothing is wrong. In fact, he talks about basic human rights. He would wish the same for citizens of Israel and by no means justifies terror. He only serves to show the realities of the situation on the Arab side of the conflict. The real question of merit here must be born personally by each visitor to this page. You must ask yourself, if put in the position of Israel, would I fight and die for my country when it faces incoming missiles? Would I go beyond that and fight and die to expand that country and occupy that expansion for 40 years? On the Arab side the questions are similar. Do I fight them when they come to kill my family and bomb my home with a "precision guided bomb?" And further, do I seek vengeance by indiscriminately lobbing missiles against their outlier communities?
But we must be aware the history of this place. Israel was created as a Jewish state not because all Jews wanted to go there. Primarily it was because England, the US, France, Germany, and many other nations would not tolerate them becoming nationilized citizens. Land was taken from Palestinians and handed to Jews. The Pols, the Germans, and French, the Italians, all got to keep their Jewish land. In the end, the burden was shunted to Palestinians and the Jews were caught in the door between. They had a new home but at the cost of their brethren the Palestinians.
This is a messy conflict with dirty hands throughout. Calling someone "a terrorist" who stands before a podium and speaks is less keen than a spoonful of butter. By that standard, many of our presidents would fall under that category. All of our Revolutionary soldiers would fall under the category of Terrorists.

- JaniceMelner, on 10/31/2008, -1/+5Corrected: According to Fox, CNN, MSNBC, ABC, CBS, McCain gave this guy $448,000.
McCain surrogates are stating now that McCain gave him the $448,000 when he had a different view of Jewish people, but that he does not think that Jewish people are agents of intolerance any more now that Joe Lieberman is helping him on his campaign.
McCain surrogates have further promised that as President, McCain will not fund anymore anti-semitic organizations.
One Republican blogger said that even though all Neo-Nazi’s will be voting for McCain, that John McCain will denounce every anti-Semitic group he has ever funded and will send a strongly worded letter to his Neo-Nazi followers suggesting that they lighten up on the Jews because Jews are not as dirty as he originally thought.
McCain surrogates believe McCain will bridge the divide between the Neo-Nazi's, the PLO, and the Jewish people.
Way to go McCain. Glad you are bringing people together.
What a hypocrite. - BabushkaBlue, on 10/31/2008, -0/+3hahahahahahaha! This is PRICELESS! McCain was a much bigger supporter of this guy than Obama ever was. He donated over $400,000 to him.
