The problem is that Rubin extracted only the items that supported his claim. RedState has a video fo the actual exchange that Rubin describes. The quote fro the WaPo article leaves out very important parts of what McCain said...

- Qong, on 05/17/2008, -1/+10It's terrible how articles like that can be accepted by so many people. Making ridiculous claims with no basis in reality in a news article is the media at its worst. They are supposed to be journalists, there is a standard to live up to. People look to them for the truth, for guidance if you will; how can they be trusted when so many of them continue to give lies and opinion as news and truth?
As you said in your article: There is a place for that as well. I'm not interested in silencing their freedom of speech, but keep it in the opinion column where it belongs, instead of deceitfully posing personal opinion and bias as fact. - mediablitz, on 05/17/2008, -1/+1And the Obama quote leaves out important parts.
