- gollyboy, on 12/06/2007, -7/+11i love getting to participate in our Huckabee campaign beyond the few dollars and cents i can give. This is great! A way of sharing the burden of the ones on the frontline, just like Mike says all Americans should be doing to win the war against terrorism! See, he's already showing his leadership in getting us all involved now...and that will translate into governing a nation of warriors who each play our part, like Rosie the Riveter, & rationing, & saving silver foil in balls (ask the Greatest Generation...so we can become the NEXT Greatest!)
Those of us at home haven't been doing enough, haven't been challenged to do enough; but as this grassroots e-mailing mobilization shows, that'll change when Mike Huckabee is at the helm as our President! So, if you're for him,
do something FOR him! The blessings of our Liberty come at a price & with sacrifices ,to be shared by ALL! - Nanellen, on 12/06/2007, -7/+9Thank goodness for the internet. With all the obstacles they have put up for candidates who aren't millionares, it provides Mike Huckabee supporters with a way to help his campaign. Time to show how much support Gov. Huckabee really has. Go Huck!
- gollyboy, on 12/06/2007, -3/+4AMEN and AMEN! Mike Huckabee - may it Be!
- Darel99, on 12/06/2007, -2/+4Yes it gives you the opportunity to pull transcripts from every dabate without paying for them and allows you to read the data. Did you notice that Mike stated by his own actions that he would not follow the rule of law?
- arrows6, on 12/06/2007, -2/+2Hi Darel99 - here's today's prayer for you. May the Father above keep you, and grant you peace, and may He help you and all the others in this nation who are feeding themselves a steady diet of sarcasm, cynicism, and anger. Blessings
- Darel99, on 12/06/2007, -1/+3Arrows6,
Where the heck did your comment come from? How is the statement above sarcasm, anger, etc. I posted a fact.... In fact Arrow I posted Hucks' actual comments in other post where he proved he would not follow the rule of law don't you think this is a serious topic to be playing pray games with me? I have been praying for all you since other fake pastors issued suppport for Huck.
Since huck will not follow the rule of law then why would you vote for him?
I know what will happen with this comment you will dig me down but you will not face the issues will you? You are the very type of person that Jesus Christ warns us of. You are supporting a man who will not support true freedom and at your own peril. I'm ashamed you just offerd your comment and implied that I'm some sarcasitc person. I stated very clearly you can pull the transcripts from every debate to read the date. Did you go back and reak Huck's statements when asked if he would obtain concent from congress to go to war? His actions proved he would not follow the law.
I'm praying for you to rise up and look at the facts and expose Huck who is nothing more then a a fake.

- CrashOverride08, on 12/06/2007, -8/+8That's all great, but Mike Huckabee is not a Gov. anymore. He is a former Governor and now you all can call him Mr. President.
Here in North Carolina people are very smart and even prior to the debate of November 28th Mike Huckabee was # 1 in the republican polls with 33% and everybody else 2x bellow his score. Think about how his numbers will go up in the month of December and next year.
WOW - CrashOverride08, on 12/06/2007, -8/+9all states should follow North Carolina example
Mike Huckabee 33%
Rudy Giuliani 17%
Fred Thompson 16%
Mitt Romney 9%
John McCain 8%
Ron Paul 3%
Undecided 10%
Other 3% - Darel99, on 12/06/2007, -8/+6I was at a huck event in Iowa recently and huck had about 175 people a few days later I went to a Mitt event and he had according to the news who counted the people 16 people at his event. I noticed Tom had 126 at his but then I noticed that Ron had over 850 at his event. I also noticed that Chuck only has less then 4,000 grass root supporters posted on meet up and ron has nearly 70,000.
I also noticed that Ron Paul has beat Chuck more times in Straw polls then Huck has beat Ron.
I also noticed that the recent national poll conducted only had 600 people who voted yet many straw polls from a single state have the same or more who vote yet the MSM is sellig the public on such a small voting block..... Folks the data can work for you or not in your favor. But you folks just will not keep an open mind.
have you reviewed the Sec of State data regarding voting data in early states? If you did you would be focused on the real data and not a hyped poll.- joplinjimmy, on 12/06/2007, -3/+5Straw polls are just that....straw polls. They are no more an accuracte measurement of actual voters than are members of Meetup. It is also interesting that you Ron Paul supporters tend to ignore straw polls where your candidate does poorly but use the ones that he does well in to claim he is winning. I'm sorry to burst your bubble, but Mike Huckabee is not running for President of Meetup Groups, he is running for President of the United States. Join the growing grassroots support for the candidate with REAL momentum--Mike Huckabee!!!
- Darel99, on 12/06/2007, -1/+4Your incorrect... We don't deny straw polls at all. In fact Ron is beating Huck in straw polls and Ron is so transparent he posts up to date straw polls on his site. In 2001 straw polls were confirmed to be the best polling methods. The beginning of this year they stated that the money raised was the best indication then they stated during the second qtr that straw polls were another indicator. We you guys know the story both Huck and Paul did poorly in staw polls the first qtr by the second qtr Paul improve and started placing 2,3 and 4th in most polls then they stated that straw polls were not the best indication. By the third qtr paul was winniing 1,2 or 3 spots.,.. But they focused on money rasied and still sold us on Mitt, Fred, Rudy. Now they are tellign us that money raised nor are straw polls important at all. Why becuase Paul is winning the straw polls, online polls and he may raise the most or 2nd place for cash. Now they are telling us all that the only polls that cout of the small 600 polled groups. they are playing a game with Ameica and you should be upset about the games the party has played. Heck Fox news still bad mouths Huck and still supports Rudy, Mitt and Fred.
Aren't you willing to stop and think that non of this makes any since at all?
We have seen party members try to expel GOP canidates.....
I visit a Huck meeting and I see less then 200 people and in the same city and state I see Paul supporters number in the thosands so you follks explaine that one?
By the way have you taken the time to look at Sec of State Facts? In Iowa for example nearly 61% now claim they are I. Not R but I. Look at other state election facts for this upcomeing season many have seen record changes wheeas R have moved to I. D have also moved to I status.... Do you understand my point? The GOP is in for trouble and if the message does not support the will of the people then tell me how can a pro war canidate win? If R's in huge numbers are now I's who do you think they will vote for?

- arrows6, on 12/06/2007, -2/+3Here's a second prayer for you today, Darel99: Dearest Lord, thank you that Darel99 refrains from being obscene and angry in this post. Help his fellow RP supporters to follow his lead.
Darel99, I understand that RP just won a straw poll in VA lately. Congratulations. Blessings on your day.- Darel99, on 12/06/2007, -2/+3Ok.... Your too funny.... "Dearest lord" you sound like my 80 year old grandmother who I love very much.
Ihave never been obscene or angy on any of the huck posts... Instead if have offerd links to the fact Huck will not support the law of the land.... I have offered links to actual documents that huck singed to encourge abortions among young black women.
600 people in a so called natioanl poll isn't even a .25% cross section of voters. But the media is trying to sell us on all the other front runners.... You people are so blind.
Do you lie in Iowa or SC I have pages and pages of docuemts for your to review. Would you liike to see them? Once you read them you will not support huck.- ilikemike, on 12/08/2007, -1/+2Post them online. Surely you or a friend has a scanner and can convert them to PDF files and post them. It isn't difficult. Otherwise, this document talk is all puff and blow.
- Darel99, on 12/06/2007, -2/+3Ok.... Your too funny.... "Dearest lord" you sound like my 80 year old grandmother who I love very much.
- ilikemike, on 12/08/2007, -1/+2C'mon a straw poll is not a more accurate indicator than a scientific poll. People say that telephone polls aren't accurate because everyone has a cell phone, etc., etc. While I don't doubt that good telephone polling is harder to do than it used to be - Rasmussen has a very good reputation for accurate polling. There are lots of older people - the age of my grandparents or parents who don't have a cell phone, and don't use the Internet. They have plain old telephone service, and I guarantee they aren't voting for your candidate. The older voting block turns out heavily, and a higher percentage of them turn out than folks who communicate via cell phone or Internet. So, I wouldn't declare phone polling is dead quite yet. For a group that advocates science, your side sure doesn't like scientific polls. There is a reason Mike Huckabee is polling better - people are learning about him and lining up to support him - it's not that hard, it's not a conspiracy, it's just a fact.
I'll be waiting for you to post your documents online along with the sourcing so we can have a fair and honest debate with everyone able to participate - not just a select, targeted few in chosen venues. By the way, any luck with the media picking up and running with all these documents?

- darwink, on 12/06/2007, -6/+9WoW, just read a link to ABC (All But Correct) news website from the Rush Limbaugh page and Mr. Huckabee has received a shared endorsement with Clinton in New Hampshire!!! The state teachers union organization with 25% Republicans has put Huckabee on their aproval list. This is Big.
Darwin Knutson- Darel99, on 12/06/2007, -1/+2state ran schools? Are you kidding? I thought most of my Christian brothers and sisters supported getting them out of the prisons and teach our kids at home.... This is not good news to those who understand the failure of state ran schools
- Room007, on 12/06/2007, -3/+8Good Morning 99 who is the Chuck you are speaking about? Is there a Chuck in the race? Anyway like I said before Ron Paul has a spot on his website announcing the straw polls. I didn't even know about the one in Virginia last Saturday or the one in Springfield Missouri. Ron Paul does a great job in rallying his troops to those straw polls, Huckabee doesn't promote those. We all know that RP has a wonderful following in Iowa, on the Internet. I'm a full fledged Huckabee supporter but not on any meet-up. I don't even know what that is. Promote your candidate don't dog others. Remember if Dr. Paul wins the primary you will need our votes. Right now I could never vote for Ron Paul because of all the negative comments made by RP supporters about myself and my candidate. I have friends wanting Giuliani and Romney and they feel the same. If Ron gets the nod most supporters from other candidates will sit home and watch Paul go down to a flaming defeat. We want a positive message from a positive guy with positive supporters.
- fpsbm, on 12/06/2007, -3/+5You're right. I, too, would not vote at all if RP (or RG or MR) got the nomination. RP-because of all the degrading comments about me and my candidate by RP supporters. RG-because of no morals. MR-because he's a flip-flopper. I'd even vote dem. (if they had any morals) before I would vote for RP, RG or MR.
- jam824a, on 12/06/2007, -0/+2I'm sorry you feel that way. I personally support Paul, but try my best not to bash or run over anyone else. I don't, personally, understand how a candidate's supporters can influence your view on a candidate. The ones that probably made you made are the fiery, angry ones--angry about the disrespect their candidate gets. We're on the internet where intent and emotion can be miscued. Have you encountered any problems with them in person? Have they hurt you bad enough to influence your opinion on who they represent?
- Darel99, on 12/06/2007, -1/+2Hi Room,
Chuck? well it was a mistake. My staff gave me a number of Chuck articles and Huck articles and I said chuck when I should have said huck :)
Room I disagree with your statements.... I'm not the kinda guy who would follow see no evil train of thought at all. I never have and I never will. In fact Christ always exposed evil and as far as I'm concerned when huck offers his postion of pro life yet passes a bill (He signed off on it) which targeted black women for abortion then how can you say you are pro-life.... As I see it based on facts it's a lie and a fraud to promote a postion which isn't correct.
Also, I have exposed the fact that Huck did not say yes he would support the law of the land if war was needed and when posted his actual commet you and others addressed me with poor names, suggested that Huck never said it but I used his actuaol words.
I have offered to meet you to show you the facts and as other Huck suppoters have told me they will not support Huck based on what they read now if you want to consider me attacking your canidate then so be it. But I feel that I'm simply pointing out history of Huck to expose him before you waist your vote. To be fair go study Ron's postions and show me where he lacks the leadership to lead our nation. I'm open to disuccs and talk about the issues but you guys will not and it really makes me sick that a fellow american will not consider the facts.
Perhaps a better way to look at RP supporters is that we believe in ron paul 1000%. He has the message of freedom and our nation is lacking this simple truth.
Why do you guys fear truth when it comes to Huck?
In some ways we both feel the same way but my positon differs becuase mine comes from research and most of Huck supporters are afriad of docuemtns and research, Why? I will tell you they try to find dirt on paul and it's not there....
I will not vote for Huck regardless and millionsof us feel the same way.
I'm not here to be a friend but rather share the truth then if you want to embrace the truth then maybe you will embrace true liberty and freedom.... It it isn't paul then all other opens including Huck support world gov views the very issue that most Christians fear are at the same time embracing a canidate who supports the CFR and this allone should make you reconsider your position.
Do you know how many R and D who have switched to "I" ? Accordking to the Sec of State in Iowa nearly 61% are now I's thats the highest its ever been.
Paul was right about Iran and many other issues.
As far as you and I. I would be happy to meet if you are in Iowa or Sc to see the docuemtns which I'm bring to over 100 church meetings and huck meet up groups. So I will be very busy starting this weekend so I want have the option to post on digg.
Please note I love the peopel of our nation but I have to warn my Christian bothers and sisters that Huck is not what he seems. His record is open to anyone who will spend the time and money to research and I hope it will help many of you take a second look. I come in peace and respect becuase four years ago I didn't really care about politics and now I'm drivin by the fact we have to expose those who will cause our nation harm.
- fpsbm, on 12/06/2007, -3/+5You're right. I, too, would not vote at all if RP (or RG or MR) got the nomination. RP-because of all the degrading comments about me and my candidate by RP supporters. - BelievingGod, on 12/06/2007, -5/+6Dear Team Huckabee,
I am very excited to have Mike Huckabee in the race.! Today I was able to send out 8 new emails. Do you know if the bandwidth or server capacity will be increased to support increased traffic to site? I attempted to get to site many times last night, and on the 4th try was able to. My guess is your probably already on top of this. Continuing to pray for Mike and that God will continue to raise Him up. :)- Darel99, on 12/06/2007, -1/+2Members of our church are praying that american's will awake to the real issues and oppose Huck.
- eworthi, on 12/06/2007, -2/+1Huck is doing better in the Glenn Beck poll, it is not a serious poll at all, but it would be nice to see Huck surge past Romney on Romney's "big speech" day. Cut and paste this url, www.glennbeck.com , into your browser window, click on enter and scroll to the lower right to vote.
- ih2005, on 12/09/2007, -2/+2Increasingly, Mike Huckabee is what Leadership looks like ( http://snipurl.com/leaderlook ). He is an adroit public speaker; he communicates his message in life-like, cogent terms, with compelling examples like the story he told (at the Ames Straw Poll) of what his then-11-yo daughter entered into the "Comments" section of a Visitors Book after visiting the Yad Vashem holocaust museum: “Why didn't somebody do something?” Very effective.
Huckabee is all about calling his listeners to "do something," to awaken them to their own empowerment, and summon them to action in order that "Main Street," and not "Wall Street," will prevail in guarding the values and beliefs upon which the Republic was founded.
Huckabee puts his listeners at ease, and reassures them, articulating clear concepts in a natural, easy style (no doubt something well-cultivated as a pastor). He’s not as “mechanically-scripted” as Romney, nor angry or demanding, like a Ron Paul, and his large brown eyes, peering through a humble demeanor, draw a striking contrast to a unconvincing, tired-looking Thompson. One can easily imagine sitting comfortably with Mike over a cup of coffee at the Main Street Cafe.
Huckabee is ONE ( http://snipr.com/fthuckabeeonirs ) with the FairTax grassroots movement ( http://snipr.com/becomeamember ). While many - like Romney, and others, who are invested in the current income tax system - seek to demagog ( http://snipurl.com/taxpanelrebutted ) the well-researched FairTax plan, its acceptance in the professional / academic community ( http://snipurl.com/econsopenletter ) continues to grow. Renown economist Laurence Kotlikoff believes that failure to enact the FairTax - choosing instead to try to "flatten" what he deems to be a non-flattenable income tax system - will eventuate into an irrevocable economic meltdown ( http://snipurl.com/meltdowninprogress ) because of the hidden aspects of the current system that make political accountability impossible.
Romney's recent WEAK response to FairTax questioning on “This Week with Geo. Stephanopoulos ( http://snipurl.com/stephanopoulosdebate )” drew a sharp contrast between Huckabee and all other presidential front-runners who will not embrace it. Huckabee understands that what's wrong with the income tax can't be fixed with "a tap of the hammer, nor a twist of the screwdriver." That his opponents cling to the destructive Tax Code, the IRS, preserving political power of granting tax favors at continued cost to - and misery of - American families, invigorates his campaign's raison d'etre.
Of the FairTax, Huckabee asserts that it's...
• SIMPLE, easy to understand
• EFFICIENT, inexpensive to comply with and doesn't cause less-than-optimal business decisions for tax minimization purposes
• FAIR, FLAT, and FAMILY FRIENDLY, loophole-free, and everyone pays their share
• LOW TAX RATE is achieved by broad base with no exclusions
• PREDICTABLE, doesn't change, so financial planning is possible
• UNINTRUSIVE, doesn't intrude into our personal affairs or limit our liberty
• VISIBLE, not hidden from the public in tax-inflated prices or otherwise
• PRODUCTIVE, rewards - rather than penalizes - work and productivity
A detailed benefits analysis of the plan (from The FairTax Book) explains Huckabee's ardent advocacy:
For INDIVIDUALS:
• No more tax on income - make as much as you wish
• You receive your full paycheck - no more deductions
• You pay the tax when you buy "at retail" - not "used"
• No more double taxation (e.g. like on current Capital Gains)
• Reduction of "pre-FairTaxed" prices (due to decrease cost of business)
• Adding back 29.9% FairTax maintains current price levels
• FairTax would constitute 23% portion of new prices
• Every household receives a monthly check, or "pre-bate"
• "Prebate" is "advance tax payback" for monthly consumption to poverty level
• FairTax's "prebate" ensures progressivity, poverty protection
• Finally, citizens are knowledgeable of what their tax IS
• Elimination of "parasitic" Income Tax industry
• NO MORE IRS. NO MORE FILING OF TAX RETURNS by individuals
• Those possessing illicit forms of income will ALSO pay the FairTax
• Households have more disposable income to purchase goods
• Savings is bolstered with reduction of interest rates
For BUSINESSES:
• Corporate income and payroll taxes revoked under FairTax
• Business compensated for collecting tax at "cash register"
• No more tax-related lawyers, lobbyists on company payrolls
• No more embedded (hidden) income/payroll taxes in prices
• Reduced costs. Competition - not tax policy - drives prices
• Off-shore "tax haven" headquarters can now return to U.S
• No more "favors" from politicians at expense of taxpayers
• Resources go to R&D and study of competition - not taxes
• Global "free (and equitable) trade" becomes possible for currently-disadvanted ( http://snipurl.com/tradeinequity ) U.S. exports
• US exports increase their share of foreign markets
For THE COUNTRY:
• 7% - 13% economic growth projected in the first year of the FairTax
• Jobs return to the U.S.
• Foreign corporations "set up shop" in the U.S.
• Tax system trends are corrected to "enlarge the pie"
• Larger economic "pie," means thinner tax rate "slices"
• Initial 23% portion of price is pressured downward as "pie" increases
• No more "closed door" tax deals by politicians and business
• FairTax sets new global standard. Other countries will follow
While passionately supporting FairTax, Huckabee understands that, if elected President, Congress will have to present the bill for his signature. His call to action goes beyond his candidacy, Main Street will have to demand ( http://snipr.com/scrapthecode ) that their legislators deliver the bill.

I'm in Nevada and he's getting my vote, I just hope those in Wisconsin will follow suit. There isn't any other candidate with the clarity, compassion, honesty, integrity, and "out-of-the-box" thinking that Mike Huckabee has displayed. Many have said that "Change" is the theme of the 2008 elections, and Mike Huckabee is the right person with the consistency and experience to bring about that change. As they say, I heart Huckabee!!!
