- TheTaoOfBill, on 11/18/2007, -10/+2Sorry gravel fans. But it's time to ditch this guy. It's quite obvious he is completely unelectable and comes off to most people as a crazy old man who may speak the truth but doesn't have presidential qualities. But don't worry. All hope is not lost. There is still Kucinich and Ron Paul. Please stop supporting this man as it is a lost cause at this point. I know people have been saying that for awhile and they have been saying that about Ron Paul and kucinich as well. But look at the facts. We are less than 2 months from the primaries and Gravel is showing no signs of growth and there really hasn't been any vocal outcry to get him back in the debates. Please send your support to Ron Paul or Kucinich. We need you guys to help support a president who will restore the constitution. Please join us. This is a cause to unite us all.
- k11u, on 11/18/2007, -0/+5TaoOfBill you should know by now that the canard of electability is just Catch-22. Mike Gravel will win the day people like you put your money and your vote where your mouth is.
Vote for the candidate you think best represents you and will do the best job for America not the lesser evils of mainstream anymore.- TheTaoOfBill, on 11/18/2007, -3/+2Normally I would agree with you. The MSM tends to over value the word electability. But that doesn't mean it doesn't exist. There comes a time where you need to see that this man is showing no growth in the polls and we only have a month and a half before primaries.
At least Ron Paul and Kucinich are showing significant growth. Gravel is dead in the water. I'm sorry but it really is time to move on. Especially when there are other candidates with similar platforms that need your help more than ever to get in. I think we can both agree that letting Hillary and Rudy win this election would be a horrible mistake for America to make. We need to work together and end this madness.- clo2400, on 11/19/2007, -2/+3It's sad but true. Gravel is being f--ed by the main stream media. He isn't in the debates, how does he even have a chance?
Overall, it's corrupt...Vote Ron Paul. Our last chance! - Eleo, on 11/21/2007, -0/+2I'm not going to stop supporting him just because I don't think he will win. If more people had this attitude, Gravel might be doing better than he is. Instead, there are so many people saying, "I agree with what Gravel says, but he won't win, so I'll vote for Hillary/Obama instead." Well no ***** he won't win if people collectively have this attitude.

- clo2400, on 11/19/2007, -5/+1I love Mike Gravel but ^TaoofBill is right...Gravel wont win. Ron Paul/Kucinich have a chance...We have a chance to change the system! Please help...
- amesolaire, on 11/21/2007, -0/+1Riveting. It was way past my bed time when I started watching this, but I just couldn't stop.
Whether you think Mike Gravel has any chance or not - listen to what he's saying very carefully. I've always felt that there's something inherently wrong with representative government, that totally open government is where it's at.
Now here's a man, who has sat down, thought about these things for years and is pledging to make them come true as soon as he's elected.
You guys are just one vote away from getting the most progressive form of government in the world and yet so few of you even take the time to listen to what he has to say. Me - I'm not even a US citizen, nor do I live in the US, but somehow seek hope in the fantasy that the american electorate will wake up before it's too late and finally realize that they need a real change, real soon. Like... yesterday. - Fallout911, on 11/21/2007, -0/+3I will never abandon Gravel no matter what!
His ideas are the best ones out there and he has his history to prove that he is owned by no one!
