Michelle Obama's $600 Earrings
townhall.com — Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama ’s wife, Michelle, complained the government’s $600 economic stimulus check was only enough to buy “a pair of earrings” while stumping for her husband.

After becoming accustomed to a certain lifestyle, they lose their job and refuse to accept a new job that pays less than they were making, choosing instead to make nothing. So if $600 is too little for you, Madame Obama, send it back to the IRS. I’m sure they’d be happy to accept your donation. I think I can speak for most Americans who received their checks when I say “Thanks.” While money isn’t my primary motivator, I’m also not above accepting such stimulus payments, no matter how big or small.
