Huge Debt for wars that benefit military contractors and oil companies. Lobbyists writing laws and rules, more and more American dissenters in jail, rich health insurance companies that scrape off about 15% of available care money for mgmt and dividends. Media that is beholden to those companies for profit and therefore helps to spin and mislead the public about the true state of economy or of corruption and oppression.
This kind of stuff has always been around, but it is now rampant, not rare.
