McCain's Grand Ambitions

blog.washingtonpost.com — Two things can be said about John McCain's attempt to look into the future with a major speech in Columbus Thursday. His ambitions are grand. His ability to achieve them enormously limited.

  • kdawg1012, on 05/16/2008, -0/+1Promises make good sound bites. But there is nothing there to back them up or to say how he would accomplish them. Bush promised to get Osama bin Laden "dead or alive" and that was over 7 years ago. He hasn't kept that promise either. Just more of the same.
